Hot diggity! Anyway, yeah, Nier deserved every sale it got, just like most of Platinum's work. My big fear is that Squeenix won't leave well enough alone and will try and micromanage Yoko Taro's next game into oblivion. He's the kind of guy whose ideas just need some space to breathe, and in today's anti-risk industry it can be really easy for the gifted weirdos to keep making stuff with that creative spark that made us love them in the first place.
