N4 ends with the following deaths:

Amrock (RIP Candle, he may have burned out, but look at how cute those little hedgehog paws are!!)
Spoiler

Dear Amrock, you are A Hedgehog!

Illegal in seven states and with literal mini-swords coming out of your body, you are the humble Hedgehog. Despite your squishy belly and tiny fists, you’re ready to prove to everyone just how badass you are. You’ve got a lot riding on your wittle hedgehog shoulders!

Plague Inc, Hedgehog Edition: (Active) As a hedgehog, you are able to carry many diseases without getting sick yourself. These diseases aren’t exactly lethal to humans, but definitely can do some damage. Each night you may respond to your Role PM ##Come Pet Me, [Alias], which will make that alias, enamored by your cuteness, come pet you. This will cause them to contract your hedgehog disease, and go rest, blocking all of their active abilities for that night. However, once a person has already gotten sick, they will have built up an immunity and will not be able to be infected again.

Too Cute to Block: (Passive) You’re so cute! Let me pat you’re head! Due to your cuteness, anyone casting a high priority action on you will have their action converted back to regular priority while they stare at you.

Roll With It: (Passive) When approached by predators, you’re able to go full defense mode. You roll into a ball, causing all of your spikes to point outward. This makes it near impossible for anyone to eat you unless they want a face full of ow. The first night you are shot in a game, your opponents will be unable to get to your soft belly (making you take no damage) and instead, they will get hurt by your quills, taking a shot instead.

Edgehog: (Standard) Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##Squeak you, [Alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection: (Standard) You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Candle”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

Bartozio (RIP 008, the grave has your number, give them a call sometime)
Spoiler

Dear Bartozio, you are Sasuke Uchiha!

After your brother, Itachi, slaughtered your entire clan (ouch), you are one of the only remaining survivors of the Konohagakure's Uchiha clan. You seek revenge, which you will achieve by becoming one of the most powerful ninjas. However, after several missions you become disillusioned with reality, you begin to isolate yourself from others and become an international criminal. However, after an important turn of events, you learn from your ways and return from your village to protect them.

Protecting Shadow (Active): Sasuke takes his duties as a protector very seriously, but only if you’re someone important to him. As such, you are able to protect someone you care about. You can send ##There's no choice but me to protect you, [Alias]. If the person you are protecting has no BPVs, you will protect any attempts on their life. If you use this ability on someone with BPVs, you will allow them to lose BPVS but protect them from death. You hate a lot of things and people, but you’re still willing to protect the people you love. You may only do this once per person.

Sharingan (Active): Your class Sharingan eye. It first awakened on the night that your entire clan was killed. With your special eye, you are able to see the flow of someone’s chakra as well as see fast moving objects. To view an alias’ chakra (or the username they belong to), you may send ##Gaze at [Alias] and be given the username and the role of that alias. You may only gaze at an alias every other night.

Ninja Prowess: (Standard) Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##I’ve decided on revenge, [Alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection: (Standard) You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “008”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

DefaultBeep (RIP Akane Tendo, Default was beeped out of the game)
Spoiler

Dear DefaultBeep, You are Akane Tendo!

You are the main female character of Ranma ½, a show popular with children. As the youngest daughter of the owner of Anything Goes Martial Arts, you are also the heir. You are kind, compassionate, and hate to attack anyone who does not have a mean to defend themselves. However, you are also very short tempered and often hit Ranma when he says anything that you deem is being a smart mouth.

Magnet of Attraction: (Active) Despite your insecurities about your own physical insecurities, you’ve had quite a few boys take an interest in you. You’re actually pretty oblivious to the lovely couples around you. However, you know of one couple. You can set up a couple by sending ##Wouldn’t it be lovely if [Alias] were dating? This will cause that Alias to become madly in love with whoever they were shooting with their standard shot that night. If both alias’ are alive the next night, they will date Romeo and Juliet style. This means that if one dies, the other will kill themself. You may use this role until you succeed once.

Horrible Cooking: (Active) What’s that smell? Oh no… It must be Akane’s cooking! A running gag in the show is how horrible your cooking skills are. Due to this, you may ##Offer Alias my Cooking and they will be too polite to refuse. The next night, they will begin throwing up, blocking their ability. You may only use this once per alias.

Martial Arts: (Standard) Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##Kick [Alias]! You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection: (Standard) You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Akane Tendo”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

Eclipse (RIP Crow, the Dark Centurion has been dragged to the underworld)
Spoiler

Dear Eclipse, you are Tenebrae, Dark Centurion.

You are a 10,000 year old servant of Ratatosk, Lord of Monsters. You seek to protect your master’s core and reawaken him, so that he might carry out his vengeance upon humans and half-elves alike. There are whispers that you instead seek to reform him, but as this is EIMM, complete genocide seems like the optimal strategy.

Invisibility (Passive): You cannot be seen by mortal eyes unless you will it. While there exist some exceptions, such as Colette, she isn’t playing in this game, so you (probably) have nothing to worry about! As such, you are an untraceable ninja.

Mastery of Dark Creatures (Active): As Centurion of Darkness, you have a certain amount of control over dark-aligned monsters. Every night, you may reply to your Role PM with ##Go, my minion! Keep an eye on [alias]. Your dark monster will let you know the username behind [alias]. Furthermore, if [alias] is killed while your servant is with them, you will learn the aliases of all who visited them that night.

Unrelenting Master (Active): Additionally, you may reply to your Role PM any number of times with ##Die for me! Distract [alias]! If you have a servant visiting [alias], your monster will sacrifice itself to keep [alias] busy for that night, blocking them. However, this will mean that you will no longer have a servant on [alias].

Vicious Snark (Standard): Your keen sense of humor and cutting wit are not to be underestimated. Every night you may reply to your Role PM with ##Insult [alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Centurion Physiology (Standard): You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Crow.”

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

Fenrir Aesir (RIP Nicolai, he dreamed of victory and woke up to defeat)
Spoiler

Dear Fenrir Aesir, you are The Dreamer!

You’re a short, 35 pound girl that packs a whole bunch of punch. In a game you are featured in, threads upon threads exist online not only giving up on beating your level, but also claiming it as impossible to beat. You also exist in a comic book, where you try to save the not yet born version of yourself, fall into a coma, and also create monsters.

Spooky Scaries (Active): The monsters you can create are the real threats, not you. You may reply to your role PM ##Show [Alias] the Monsters this will cause them to shoot your monster instead of their original target. This will render their shot useless.

Coma: (Active) In the comic book chapter you appear in, Nightmare World, you go into a coma and all others must protect you. Once a game, you may reply to your Role PM ##Save me from myself, [Alias], causing them to take all shots that were originally going to you to now hit them instead.

Latent Psychic Powers: (Standard) Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##You’re having a nightmare, [Alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection: (Standard) You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Nicolai”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

N5 has started and ends on January 4th, 2018, at 9:00 PM EST. This leaves you with just under 24 hours to submit actions. With 13 players now remaining, if you send in your action with the tag ##Locked we will consider this your finalized action (unless you change it again before night ends). If all players submit a locked action, night will end early (at our convenience).

Night 4.5 has come and gone with 1 death. This does not effect the deadline for night 5. Please change actions if appropriate if you have shot........

Mackc2 (RIP Not Duke. Ganon got hit with a Ganon Cannon.

Spoiler

Dear Mackc2, you are Ganondorf!

You are Ganondorf, primary antagonist from the Zelda series and Smash Bros playable character! You started your quest as a warlock searching for strength and eventually gained the Triforce of Power. This was enough muscle to conquer Hyrule, or so you thought. You once appeared in EIMM with the power of the Ganon Canon. This was enough muscle to conquer Makaze, and it seemed you would conquer the EIMM as well, or so you thought. Sadly Ganon Canon has made itself to the banlist, but that won’t stop you from gaining the power you need to win this game. Sadly Makaze isn’t around for you to mess with, but that also won’t stop you from making many memes.

Triforce of Power: (Passive) You have been granted unimaginable power due to your Triforce. Unfortunately, two other Triforce powers exist to stop you. Because of this, only 2 shots will be able to damage you each night, any excess will fail.

Makaze’s Scorn: (Active) Even just seeing another Ganondorf in the game is enough to make Makaze angry. But, since he’s not playing, there’s no way he could ever discover your alias. Each night you may reply to your role PM ##Direct Maka’s Scorn to [Alias]. [Alias] will be hit with the force of one standard shot. Because Makaze’s Scorn is so great, even other bullets don’t want to get near it, and so your target will be protected from all other shots targeting them this night. This shot will be strongwilled.

Warlock Punch: (Standard) Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##Meme [Alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection: (Standard) You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Not Duke”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

And now, for an intermission.

PHASE PAUSE

A shot rings out! But before anyone can see where it came from, a familiar cry pierces the heavens!

WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Despite his flavor, Mackc2 could not be saved from the wrath of the Ganon Cannon 2.0.

He sought to rule the memes by becoming king of dankness, but instead became naught but a meme himself, the dankness of his role eclipsed only by that of his death.

"That was so bullshit! What sort of a role kills people during the day?!" another voice cries out, but it was in fact only @Makaze once again.

PHASE UNPAUSE

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Ganondorf Dragmire, the Wise?
I thought not. It's not a story Makaze would tell you. It's a EiMM legend. Ganondorf Dragmire was a role so powerful and so OP he could even manipulate the SF threads to take life... He had such a knowledge of memes that he could even keep the ones he hated from living. The Triforce of Power is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep.

Ironic, he could take the life of anyone, yet his own powers took his.

Edge of the Lord Tier List, N3-N4 Plus Mack Edition (now ranked from strongest to weakest in tiers as well!)

Top Tier

King Bradley

High Tier

Dullahan: This role does everything. "Crucible"'s target is unbelievably screwed, losing a BPV, their secret identity, and the ability to act next night. The shot limiter can be remedied by having allies shoot your crucible target. Stealing someone's role pushes this over the top. It also didn't need the extra BPV, but that's there, AND it has the added bonus of being immune to BPV breaks because of when it activates.

Rusalka Schwagerin: As I said in Colress, shot hijacker is insanely good, especially when there are no limiting conditions. This role ends up being significantly stronger than Colress though, due to a 1x High Priority buff being far more valuable than the slight informational leverage Colress had.

The Dreamer: Commutes are good. A commute where you also kill someone else is even better. The Dreamer finally has access to a shotblock, giving this role a surprising amount of sustain.

Juvia Luxor

Akira Kurusu

Kamina: Motivators can always find great allies because they can create broken role combos. Kamina also has the benefit of "Gunman Pilot", giving this role some self protection and not leaving it totally helpless if others don't ally.

Solidus Snake

Colress

Ganondorf: Alas, poor Ganon was dealt a taste of his own medicine. "Triforce of Power" is a solid protective ability, preventing your death at least once over the course of the game. Can ramp well with extra BPVs. Makaze's Scorn is an interesting ability, useful early game for chipping randoms down, and could even save an ally from death if you use it more like a CPR Doctor.

Hedghehog: A plethora of neat tricks are enough to bump A Hedgehog up to the bottom of High tier. Being immune to high prio means your actions will always go through if they shoot you. Immunity to the first round of shots is very useful, and a full hook, while it has the same limitations of many other abilities in this game as being unable to target someone more than once, rounds out the kit to be strong and balanced.

Mid Tier

Dark Mage: Incredibly powerful abilities... which are all one shots. Fitting. "Dark Night" looks like it could have applications for creating false backstabs, an idea we don't see much in EiMM. Bus Driver is insanely powerful, and carries this role to the top of Mid tier despite being a one shot. A two night delay is strong lategame, where you can finish the game before those actions can be processed.

Megumi

RamFull hooker will never be bad. Unfortunately, Ram can't hook the same person twice, which could cause problem late game once your pool of enemies has slimmed. "Clairvoyance" is ok, nothing special but seeing what roles your target uses makes it far from useless.

Tenebrae, Dark Centurion: This roles takes a lot of planning to use effectively but the rewards can certainly pay off. Knowing where kills are coming from is useful in target prioritization, and you can also set up some neat mass roleblocks late game if you prime the right targets. The degree of difficulty to use this role well bumps it down though, closer to Top Mid, Low High, in terms of raw power.

Andy Taylor

Makoto Nijima

Prince Magus: This role ramps nicely, but is prone to being one shot on early phases before it gains the full usage of its abilities. However, if it can survive to 0 BPVs it is definitely a threat to look out for.

Friedrich Nietzsche

Akane Tendo: Loverizer is insanely funny, but it's hard to utilize properly, and can only proc once. Delayed blocking someone's actions is very lackluster. Loverizers are still really good though, carrying this role above some mid tiers.

Pepsi Man: Shotblocker is decent, but this role can't make enough money to have much of an impact with the list of "Corporate Greed" abilities. Taking four nights to gain a singular BPV or five nights to become Strong Willed is inefficient. The ideal use of "Corporate Greed" would probably be buffing "Thirst Quench" to block actions as well, which is not spectacular, maybe the Rogue could prove useful too.

Karel

Yandere-Chan

Yandere-Chan: The two yanderes ended up being very similar to each other. While having good abilities, the fact that someone is hunting for you, and some of the abilities are locked is a strong counterbalance, dropping them to Lower Mid.

Sasuke Uchiha: It has the same weak protective ability as Han Solo, but i'd say a direct Alias cop, even when alternate night, is more powerful than seeing Usernames only when you're shot. Han Solo shafted thrice.

Low Tier

Han Solo

Vona, the Butcher of Magan

Saitama: This role still sucks!

Life Tier

None, yet!

N5 ends with the following deaths:

Da Letter EL (looks Kanye West didn't do his Kanye Best)

Spoiler

Dear Da Letter El, you are Kanye West!

An American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur, your views on life outside of music have received significant mainstream attention. You have been a frequent source of controversy for your conduct and have been heavily criticized by people of all walks of life. Besides your music career, another notable event in your life includes marrying Kim Kardashian, and together, the two of you frequent the news together.

Rap Over Anything (Passive): You can rap over the sounds of anything, and you’ll still sell out! Dying horse? Sold. Screaming children? Sold. A YouTube tutorial video? Sold. This ability has become so popular, that it is frequently memed and even appears as a card in Cards Against Humanity. Now that’s success. No matter what, you will always be successful, and so your actions and shots cannot be blocked or be protected against. You can still be redirected, as you’ll still find success there.

Kanye Best (Active): You always give your career your Kanye Best in order to make great music. This benefits not only you, but your featured artists as well. Each night, you may reply to your role PM ##Give [Alias] my Kanye Best. Your target will gain the effects of Rap Over Anything for that night, and in return, will be unable to use their standard kill on you for the next two nights. That should be how long it takes for their popularity to fade out, after all.

Compared to Greatness (Active): You have been known to compare yourself to many famous people of our time. Reply to your role PM ##Compare myself to [Alias]. For this night alone, assuming you both survive, you will change yourself to match your target and your BPV count will rise (or fall) to be equal to theirs. If you try to compare yourself too much, too many people will get pissed off at you, so you are choosing to only do this once in the game.

Hot Fire (Standard): Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##Spit mad rhymes at [Alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection (Standard): You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Bells”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

Champ1604 (Nothing escapes Death, not even a butterfly. Or, as Champ has learned the hard way, Death itself)

Spoiler

Dear Champ 1604, You are The Grim Reaper!

Death personified, you often appear as a skeletal figure wrapped in a dark cloak and carrying a scythe. Many cultures believe you come at the end of a person’s life to reap their soul from them and ferry them off to the afterlife. Though imagined differently throughout the cultures, what you are often remains the same. Death does not change. Death does not discriminate. Death comes for all.

Everyone Dies (Passive): Death is inescapable, to prevent your work would be foolish. Shots you make cannot be blocked or redirected. Your shots will pass through any type of protective role (this does not include BPVs).

Death Rattle (Passive): Two things are guaranteed in life, death and taxes. You will be shown the BPV count of whoever you shoot with your standard shot.

Envoy of the Damned (Active): The damned demand you add to their ranks. They will assist a worthy master. If you successfully killed a player the previous night, then you may reply to your role PM ##Hell calls to you, [Alias]. This will remove one of the target’s standard BPVs after normal shots have been calculated. You will be informed if Envoy is active the next night.

Reaping (Standard): Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##Reap the soul of [Alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection (Standard): You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Xayah”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

N6 ends with the following deaths:

DuckorMint (Turns out being a map helps bullets find you as well as your foes)

Spoiler

Dear Duck/Mint, you are The Map!

You’re the map! You’re the map! You’re the map!!! An excited location finding roll of paper from Dora the Explorer, you’re the map. You’ve never missed an episode and have a long track record of never letting Dora down. Let’s hope that EIMM isn’t too much for your skills.

If there’s a place you wanna go! (Active): Your pride and joy is that you can tell anyone where they want to go with absolute certainty. You come in absolute handy when people get lost. As such, you can send ##Show [Alias1] the right path to [Alias2] to your role PM. This allows you to redirect that alias’ lost shot onto the correct place it should be.

Special Helper (Passive): If you redirect someone’s shot onto the same person that they were originally shooting, that means their shot wasn’t lost at all! Uh oh! There must be some holes in you. To fix the holes, you travel there with them to scout the region. To properly scout the location, you prevent [Alias2] from moving, blocking their shot.

Know your place (Standard): Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##Map Attack on [Alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection (Standard): You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Peanut”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

N7 has ended. And with it, more than 1 death!!!

General Ciraxis (RIP GameOverReturnOfCiraxis and TheRealCiraxis. The Ciraxi are eternal. Though they fall here, they will rise again another day)

Spoiler

Dear General Ciraxis, You are Sargeras!

You are the creator and leader of the Burning Legion. Once the Champion of the Pantheon, chosen to defend the worlds the titans had ordered as a guardian and protector, you now seek to destroy all world-souls and life in the universe, and undo what the titans had strived for ages to achieve. Your actions are truly worthy of the title you were given as "the big, mega bad guy".

Hellbeasts Creation (Passive): You have created many things in your day both in the name of peace and in the name of destroying it. What this creation will be used for, nobody can yet know. You will be given a second alias under the name “TheRealCiraxis”. Any active abilities used by other players will fail if used on GameOverReturnOfCiraxis and must instead be used on TheRealCiraxis. In addition, any kills used on TheRealCiraxis will fail and must instead be used on GameOverReturnOfCiraxis.

Flames of Sargeras: (Standard) Each night you may reply to your role PM, Burn [Alias] to cinders. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection: (Standard) You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias "GameOverReturnOfCiraxis"

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

Prims (RIP FREEDOM. At least you were better than Communism, and you showed us a thing or two about Astolfo while you were at it! c: )

Spoiler

Dear Prims, You are Astolfo!

Just like all the other legends from Fates, you have your own backstory. Described in the Charlemagne Legend which you hail, you are the son of an English king, and one of Charlemagne's twelve faithful Paladins. Among the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne, you are apparently the most handsome, optimistic, and also lack the most sense. During your adventurers you flew all over the universe, including the moon to save Roland. Although you have many stories of your victories, you have just as many about your mistakes. Will EIMM be your biggest mistake yet?

Rider of Black: (Active) You are a part of the Rider class, one of the seven standard servant classes. Your steed, the hippogriff, although quite elegant hasn’t won you a lot of victories in riding tournaments. This time though, you’re in it to win it. Once per game, you may fly up into the air, blocking all shots on you. However, being the person you are, you will fall straight out of the sky and lose all your BPVs. But, good news, you’re not dead. Anyone who tries to shoot you will have their own bullet fall from the sky and shoot them instead (that's how guns work right)

Handsome As He Is: (Active) As one of the most handsome men alive, you take your style very seriously. You have an ornate braid and a killer sense of fashion which can make anyone stare for a bit too long. However, catching these onlookers while they stare can lead to quite the embarrassment for them. Send ##Catch [Alias] Staring at me to your role PM to cause that alias to become embarrassed now that you’ve caught them staring too long. Due to how long they were staring, they will be unable to use their actions tonight.

Loyal Protector: (Standard) Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##Begone! [Alias]! You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection: (Standard) You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “FREEDOM”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.

ThorVic (RIP Yellow. Like most ancient gods, you were worshiped for a time, then left to be forgotten)

Spoiler

Dear ThorVic, You are Seth!

Seth, more commonly known as Set, was an Egyptian god of chaos. Brother of Osiris and Isis, you represented everything that threatened harmony in Egypt.

God of Chaos: (Active) As part of your job, you have to spread chaos. It’s just in your nature. Each night you may respond to your role PM ##Spread chaos to [Alias 1] and [Alias 2]. You will remove a BPV from [Alias 1] and give it to [Alias 2] instead. Since you are immune to chaos, you cannot target yourself. This action will fail if [Alias 1] has 0 BPVs. Any alias you target with this role may not receive the benefits of God of Storms and cannot be targeted with this ability again.

God of Storms: (Active) Storms. They can be quite fierce when they hit, but they are very restorative when they cease. Twice in the game, you may reply to your role PM ##Send a storm to [Alias]. This will restore up to 1 BPV that they may have lost during the game. You may only perform this once per alias.

Taketh Away: Once in a game, you may respond to your Role Pm ##You are not deserving, [Alias] This Alias must be someone you previously succeeded in sending a bpv to. You will take back this bpv and give it to yourself if they still have a bpv left.

Godly Might: (Standard) Each night you may reply to your role PM, ##Smite [Alias]. You will perform your factional kill on your target.

Protection: (Standard) You enter the game with two bulletproof vests, each blocking a single attempt on your life.

You are playing under the alias “Yellow”.

You are allied with yourself. You win if you are one of the last four players alive.
