I've just read somewhere that there are two versions of the Awakening OST, one with an artbook (or kinda like an artbook, I'm not sure), and the other one without that. So, question is, do anyone know anything about it? I tought, this might be the time for me to buy some FE merch, and I think this is kind of a nice piece, so I just want to make sure that I understand everything correctly before ordering anything. Tryphen Posted January 4, 2018 Share Posted January 4, 2018 There was two different releases of the Awakening OST: https://vgmdb.net/album/37510 https://vgmdb.net/album/56216 The former is the original release, while the latter is a reprint. The content is the same in both of them, but the original release comes in a larger box similar to the Fates/Echoes OSTs and overall looks better. There is no artbook with either release. The original release is much harder to find as it sold out quickly and skyrocketed in price, though I did notice one on eBay as of late. Thanks for the answer, I actually found one with relatively good price. Given the picture, and the release date it seems like it is the original version, but I'm kind of uncertain since it costs only ~$20, while the one You linked costs $80... There are two listings on that site and the one you posted does seem to be the original version. Only problem is unless they have better pictures to guarantee you're receiving the original, it's a gamble. Thanks, I think for that many even the reprint would kinda worth it, so I guess I will go ahead, and order it.
