Cherche: Wyvern Friend

Soaring the skies with her beloved Minerva (the wyvern), Cherche boasts high very attack, being the first non-armor unit to have 38 base attack. Coupled with her high HP and defense, Cherche is a powerhouse of a wyvern rider whose main weaknesses lie in her not so great speed and low resistance, a trait shared by many wyvern riders in the Fire Emblem games. With the introduction of skill inheritance, Cherche has gained even more freedom to show her fearsome strength. Some of which are simple while others are a bit more out of the way.

General Overview and Universal Skills

Before going into any builds, I'd like to address some general things about Cherche and skills that can be used in any of these builds unless specified. This is to reduce unnecessary clutter and redundant explanations. The things that will be discussed here are Assist skills, Specials, B Passives, C Passives, and Sacred Seals.

Spoiler

In almost every case, Reposition is a very practical and versatile positioning skill that anyone can use and Cherche is no exception. Cherche's advantage, however, comes from being a flier who can be on tiles such as mountains, lava pits, or water that armor, cavalry, and infantry units cannot be on allowing her and other fliers to fling her allies over them if needed. Otherwise, like everyone else, she can make use of any positioning or rally skill and these will be up to the player's needs and wants.

Next up are Specials which will be listed for each build, but here's some things to consider. Cherche has both high attack and defense where Bonfire and Ignis scale better than Draconic Aura and Dragon Fang, but in certain builds that emphasize on having as much attack as possible, Cherche can get more damage from Draconic Aura and Dragon Fang. That said, consider which buff Cherche will get more of, attack or defense, that would increase her damage from her special. Also, consider timing as sometimes you might want a longer charge, but more damaging special with Ignis and Dragon Fang and there's nothing wrong with Cherche having Bonfire and Ignis to switch from or even all four specials. Other specials such as Aether which will score higher for Arena or Moonbow, Luna, and the AoE specials can work too if you don't have the defense and attack-based specials or need to use a different special. Just keep in mind things like if someone else wants those skills or if Cherche has enough SP in case a sudden summon nets you a source of a special you want.

B and C Passives and Sacred Seals are really flexible. I don't know what else to say other than it really will be up to you on what you want and unless specified because a build wants a particular skill, I'm generally going to leave those slots as "flexible" with C Passives also having Cherche's Fortify Def 3 as a default skill. Regardless, some things to consider starting with B Passives.

For B Passives, it can't hurt to have a -breaker on Cherche. Everyone benefits from being able to guarantee a follow-up on the unit it affects unless that unit is also running the same skill in which case, they will cancel out and the battle will play out normally where if Cherche has 5 more speed, then she'll double, if she doesn't, then she won't, etc. One thing is that as a flier, she cannot have Bowbreaker, so even if she's running Iote's Shield, she cannot avoid getting doubled by archers unless they can't double her in the first place. Also, just in case if people aren't aware, she cannot have a -breaker skill from a unit that's effective against her, so she cannot have R Tomebreaker or Swordbreaker. As a flier, though, she does have exclusive access to certain skills which for B Passives is currently Flier Formation which can help with positioning in an all-flier team or if there's a flier ally or two on the team she's currently on.

For C Passives, two things to keep in mind: Cherche's high HP and Cherche being a flier. Cherche's high HP allows her to use Panic Ploy effectively where -HP does lower her coverage, but it's still all right considering two of the default Panic Ploy users Luke and Valter have 43 HP and 42 HP, respectively. As Panic Ploy is a Sacred Seal, she can run this along with a different C Passive if needed or have Panic Ploy as a C Passive and a different Sacred Seal. Similarly, Guidance is both a C Passive and Sacred Seal that can only be used by fliers, so Cherche can aid in the positioning of her armored and infantry allies. As a flier, Cherche can benefit from running and receiving a flier buff. Depending on the build, Cherche would want to maximize her damage output from receiving Goad or Hone Fliers or increase her defenses by receiving Ward or Fortify Fliers. Remember: Goad and Ward Fliers being in combat buffs can stack meaning Cherche can have upwards to +12 Atk/Spd from three flier allies with Goad Fliers or +12 Def/Res from Ward Fliers. Hone and Fortify Fliers are in field buffs and cannot got beyond +6 Atk/Spd or +6 Def/Res and they can also be affected by the Panic status so be careful. In return, depending on what her teammates want along with what her build is, Cherche would want to give them buffs that complement them. One easiest example is if you have a flying mage using a -blade tome, then Cherche might want to run Fortify or Hone Fliers to complement their use of a -blade tome. Another is if Cherche is running a defensive build, then she might want to run Goad or Hone Fliers as she would benefit more from having increased defenses by her allies running Fortify or Ward Fliers.

Sacred Seals are copies of any kind of passive skill, so they will be generally used to expand or increase the effects of a skill a unit is running like having Close Def 3 as both an A Passive and a Sacred Seal. Of note, Iote's Shield is a Sacred Seal, so that can help out if you need Cherche to not take effective damage from archers and don't want to have it be an A Passive or don't have a spare Michalis to give her that.

Considerations: Natures and Resource Availability

So, I want to be frank here: I do fret over min-maxing things which ruin the fun that games and such can have. If you do this or find yourself doing this, my advice is to try and not to. You might not have what you want, but that doesn't mean you can't make the most of what you have and since we can summon for more units and with Cherche being a 3* to 4* summon who may occasionally be a focus unit, she shouldn't be that rare to summon which isn't saying much considering what kind of game this is, but regardless. It is because of this that I want to try and figure out as many build options as I can where of course there will be builds like Brave Axe Cherche that Cherche would preferably be +Atk to maximize her damage per hit, but she doesn't need to be +Atk to run that build effectively. Cherche's neutral attack is 38 which for most units, is their +Atk and even being -Atk, Cherche still has a high 35 attack. Or if you find yourself with a +Def, +Spd, or even +Res Cherche, well, maybe there's something else you can have her do for whatever reason.

The next thing is about resources. Not everyone has access to every skill or wants to sacrifice their only unit who has a skill for a certain build, so I will try to list as many applicable options as I can. In some cases, it will just be flexible like maybe you want Armored Blow for Cherche using Brave Axe or maybe you'd find Poison Strike useful for a certain build and strategy.

Nature: preferably +Atk

Weapon: Brave Axe+
Assist: Reposition, flexible
Special: Bonfire/Draconic Aura, Ignis/Dragon Fang, Escutcheon, Galeforce, flexible
A Passive: Death Blow 3, Attack +3 (default), flexible
B Passive: flexible
C Passive: Fortify Def 3 (default), flexible
Sacred Seal: Atk +3, Heavy Blade 3, flexible

Overview

This is your regular, run-of-the-mill Brave build using Cherche's high attack and a Brave weapon's ability to hit twice when initiating. Not much needs to be said about how devastating this can be when =Atk Cherche with a Brave Axe+ and Death Blow 3 can have 52 total attack when initiating. Against someone with 30 defense and neutral weapon triangle advantage, she would be able to do 22x2, 44 total damage.

Although Cherche's attack is high, having more attack never hurts. Overkill is better than kill in my book. So, her allies should provide her with attack buffs or debuff her enemies' defense allowing her to hit harder. A refresh unit, a dancer or singer, is helpful as well since it would allow Cherche to have another turn to take out someone else. They should also be nearby since Cherche will be incredibly prone to being doubled as a result of using a Brave weapon. =Spd Cherche with a Brave Axe's -5 speed will leave her with 20 speed meaning anyone with >= 25 speed will double her. -Spd Cherche would be doubled by anyone with >= 22 speed and +Spd Cherche will be doubled by anyone with >= 29 speed. Cherche has high HP and defense, but there's only so many hits anyone can take. She should avoid magic regardless.

BH Ike and units running Deflect Melee will also take less damage from her as her second hit would be a consecutive hit. And as high of an attack Cherche has, Brave Axe's lower Mt can make it difficult to fight against units with very high defense and especially against those with weapon triangle advantage.

Skills

Specials: This is a build where Cherche can get more damage from Draconic Aura and Dragon Fang than with Bonfire and Ignis, especially a +Atk Cherche and with Dragon Fang. Still, depending on what buffs she receives more, she can get more damage from either of those kinds of specials. As Brave weapons allow the user to hit twice per attack, Cherche can have Escutcheon charged assuming her enemy isn't running Guard. Should she need to take damage, this can help out. Similarly, Cherche can charge Galeforce more quickly and Heavy Blade can speed this up preferably as a seal to make sure she hits as hard as possible by having an attack boosting A Passive.

A Passives: Focus on maximizing Cherche's damage output. Death Blow 3 gives her the most damage per hit, +6 Atk, without any catches like Brazen Atk Spd or Defiant Atk requiring she be at a certain HP threshold except for needing to initiate combat which she will likely be doing. Otherwise, her default Attack +3 works along with skills like Fire Boost, Fury, and Sturdy Blow. Life & Death and Swift Sparrow work as well, but Cherche's speed isn't that great even with +Spd because of Brave Axe's -5 speed penalty so they would be more useful on faster units.

B Passives: Anything can work really, but as she will be prone to being doubled and with her flexible movement, consider Drag Back and Hit and Run to allow Cherche to pull back after defeating or at least severely damaging her enemy. Otherwise, -breakers would increase her ability to close out kills and movement skills like Wings of Mercy can allow her to drop in to take out an enemy near her injured allies.

Sacred Seals: Attack +3 increases her damage output and Heavy Blade allows her to charge her specials more quickly provided her attack is higher than her enemy which it usually will be. Otherwise, use whatever seal that you want her to run.

Michalis's Other Sister (Wall of Fire and Sharp Things)
General use, defensive-offensive, enemy phase

Spoiler

Nature: +Def, -Spd, -Res, or -HP

Weapon: Slaying Axe+ (defense refined), flexible
Assist: Reposition, Swap, flexible
Special: Bonfire, Ignis, Aether
A Passive: Close Def 3, Defense +3, Fortress Def 3, Fury 3, Steady Stance 3
B Passive: Quick Riposte 2/3, Guard 2/3, flexible
C Passive: Fortify Def 3 (default), Threaten Atk 3, Threaten Def 3, flexible
Sacred Seal: Close Def 3, Defense +3, Quick Riposte 3, flexible

Overview

+Def Cherche gives her 35 base defense, the same defense as Michalis and overall, Cherche ends up with a similar stat spread where Cherche will usually have lower resistance and speed regardless if either are her bane. While Michalis's Hauteclere has higher Mt than regular weapons such as Slaying Axe+, =Atk Cherche's 4 point attack lead actually lets her have a slightly higher total attack than Michalis with Slaying Axe+; 52 Atk (38 Atk + 14 Mt) to Michalis's 50 (34 Atk + 16 Mt). That said, Hauteclere is a legendary weapon and has access to a unique refinement, +10 damage when triggering specials, giving Michalis other options to explore. Regardless, if you like using Michalis, want another Michalis who isn't Michalis, or like using enemy phase builds and have a +Def Cherche, then this build could work for you.

The Wall of Fire and Sharp Things build uses a unit's high defense and/or resistance to tank hits and generally counter kill their enemies through the use of a Killer/Slaying weapon, Quick Riposte, and a special such as Bonfire that would make use of their high defense. That is not to say they cannot run other weapons and skills to simply tank enemies.

Before any buffs or passives, +Def, =HP Cherche's 46 HP and 35 Def gives her 81 total or 58x2 physical bulk. A defense refined weapon gives her an additional +5 HP and +4 Def bumping her up to 51 HP and 39 Def for 90 total or 65x2 physical bulk.

On a flier team, Cherche can have upwards to +12 Def/Res in combat if her three teammates are all running Ward Fliers. Without a refined weapon, +Def, =HP Cherche would have 46 HP and 47 Def giving her 93 total or 70x2 physical bulk and with a defense refined weapon, she would have 51 HP and 51 Def giving her 102 total or 77x2 physical bulk. That is if all her flier allies are running Ward Fliers and she in range

As an enemy phase build, melee units running Firesweep weapons or Windsweep and who have higher speed that her will negate Cherche's ability to counterattack them. This doesn't affect much of her ability to simply tank them, though. She also shouldn't tank magic damage, especially if she's -Res, without a lot of resistance buffs.

And remember that as Cherche is a flier, she cannot use Steady Breath, so she won't be able to gain special charges as fast as melee infantry and armor units with Steady Breath, but that shouldn't be that big of a problem or deter you from building Cherche like this.

Skills

Weapons: Slaying Axe+ is used to lower the cooldown of her specials, however, depending on what you want or need, sacrificing the ability to activate Bonfire every round of combat with Quick Riposte might be worth it to you. Also, this goes without mentioning, but do not use Brave Axe or Firesweep Axe (not available at the time of writing) as Brave Axe only hits twice when initiating and Firesweep Axe would prevent her from counterattacking. Some suggestions include:

  • A refined Carrot Axe: When refined, Carrot Axe+ restores 4 HP after every round of combat so long as the user attacks. This could give Cherche very high sustain. Probably not that useful for Arena, but certain PvE content that requires high sustain, this could be very useful.
  • Emerald Axe: This would turn Cherche into an anti-blue counter-killer and/or tank. Keep in mind lance units running Cancel Affinity will make it so she will deal and take neutral damage against them and that while Emerald Axe will reduce the damage she takes from blue mages, her resistance is still low, so she could end up dying to them regardless.
  • Handbell and Sack o' Gifts: Both weapons would grant Cherche +2 Atk/Spd/Def/Res when attacked increasing her overall bulk and damage output and it stacks with skills like Close Def and Steady Stance as they're all in combat buffs.
  • Slaying Hammer/whatever axe will be introduced that's effective against cavalry: Hey, maybe there's a map that's filled with armors/cavalry and you need Cherche to deal with them.

Assists: As a tank, Cherche wants to be the one taking hits which Swap can allow her to do as she can swap places with an ally. It also works on almost any terrain, so anything her ally can stand on. Nevertheless, use what you would find useful for the team or for the situation at hand.

Specials: As Cherche is generally going to get defense buffs, she will be getting more damage out of Bonfire and Ignis. Bonfire will activate every round of combat with Slaying Axe while Ignis activates only if she gets doubled and with a Slaying Axe. Aether can work for sustain and damage along with providing a higher Arena scoring. That said, Bonfire and Ignis might be easier to use due to their lower charge and Aether might be more useful for PvE content where Cherche will need to deal with long engagements.

A Passives: Focus on improving Cherche's defenses. Close Def and Steady Stance provide the highest defense boost, +6 Def, where Close Def only works against 1-range units and also provides +6 Res while Steady Stance works on all units, but only grants +6 Def when attacked. Fury would improve all her stats at the cost of 6 recoil damage per round of combat which can easily lower the time skills like Quick Riposte can be in effect. Other stat increase skills such as Atk Def +2, Defense +3, and HP Def 2 grant smaller increases, but without recoil damage. And if you are comfortable with Cherche having 3 less attack, Fortress Def 3 can provide Cherche +5 Def at all times. Given =Atk Cherche's base attack is 38, I would be fine with it since she would still have a high 35 base attack.

B Passives: Quick Riposte is used to allow Cherche to double on counterattack, but as it was recently made a Sacred Seal, Cherche can use a different B passive such as Guard to prevent enemies from powering through her defenses with a special alongside a Quick Riposte seal. Another thing is if you want Cherche to simply be a wall, then having a different skill can work just as well.

C Passives: Cherche will be in her enemies' faces most of the time, so having Threaten Atk or Def can help to lower the damage she takes or increasing the damage she deals.

BA/D Cherche (Brash Assault, Desperation Build)
Requires setting up, high-risk, high reward offense, player phase

Spoiler

Nature: preferably +Atk or +Spd

Weapon: Slaying Hammer+ (default, evolved), Brave Axe+, flexible
Assist: Reposition, Reciprocal Aid, flexible
Special: Bonfire/Draconic Aura, Ignis/Dragon Fang, Moonbow, flexible
A Passive: Attack +3 (default), Brazen Atk Def 3, Brazen Atk Spd 3, Death Blow 3, Fury 3, Life & Death 3, flexible
B Passive: Desperation 3
C Passive: Fortify Def 3 (default), flexible
Sacred Seal: Brash Assault 3

Overview

What this build does is combo Desperation with Brash Assault, something that wasn't possible except for Lyn: Lady of the Plains whose Sol Katti has Desperation 2 built in until recently with Brash Assault being made a Sacred Seal. Desperation 3 makes it so that when initiating, the user's follow-ups occur immediately when they are at <= 75% HP allowing them to avoid a counter attack, but the user must be able to double. Brash Assault 3 allows the user when initiating combat to make a guaranteed follow-up on a enemy who can counter attack when the user is at <= 50% HP. Essentially, Brash Assault fulfills Desperation's requirement of being able to double, but only for enemies who can counter attack, so in this case for Cherche, a 1-range unit or a 2-range unit with Close Counter. This will not work on 1-range units using Firesweep weapons and 2-range units who do not have Close Counter as they cannot counter back.

The main point of this build is to allow Cherche to double anyone who can counter with her high attack when she is at <= 50% HP and avoid a counter attack. This is of course a very high risk, high reward build as Cherche will be in a dangerous position at <= 50% HP where if she does not finish off her enemy or has to take a hit, especially a magical one, she might not survive. And like with her Brave Axe build, against BH Ike using Urvan and units with Deflect Melee, her follow-up attack being a consecutive attack will do reduced damage -- upwards to 80% less against BH Ike and units with Deflect Melee 3. It also requires a bit of setting up as =HP Cherche without a refined weapon must drop down to 23/46 HP somehow. It is also a bit restrictive as Cherche's B passive and Sacred Seal are locked in order for this build to work. That being said, high damage output and a risky play-style can be appealing and fun.

Skills

Assists: Reciprocal Aid can easily allow Cherche to enter Brash Assault's HP range by using it on an ally with low health. With Cherche's high HP, she can also top off her most people's HP as well. Ardent Sacrifice can work too, but it will be much slower as it transfers 10 HP per use.

Weapons: Any weapon can work really where she would be able to double with a Brave Axe+ when at Brash Assault's HP range and a Mt refined Silver Axe+ (18 Mt) would provide her the highest total attack before buffs at the cost of having no special effect. The cheapest option is to simply evolve her Hammer+ (12 Mt) to Slaying Hammer+ (14 Mt) and refining it as you please. In this case, Cherche would retain effective damage against armored unit provided they are not using Svalinn's Shield. Also, do not use Firesweep Axe as her enemy not being able to counterattack would mean Brash Assault would not work.

A Passives: Like with her Brave Axe build, focus on maximizing Cherche's damage output. In this case, however, skills like Brazen Atk Spd, L&D, and Swift Sparrow can be useful to allow Cherche to break through armors with Wary Fighter as if she has 5 more speed than them, then she will be able to double them in this fashion. This will be easier if she's +Spd and with a non-Brave Axe as she would not have to deal with -5 speed from using it. As Cherche will be at low health, the Brazen Atk skills would work nicely as even if she's at its HP threshold of <= 80%, she can gain +7 Atk and whatever other stat which would be helpful for normal fights before Cherche drops down to <= 50% HP and begins to massacre everyone who can counterattack her. Fury can allow Cherche to safely drop into Brash Assault's HP range.

Knightmare Cherche
General use, anti-armor (default weapon) or anti-cavalry (not available at the moment)

Spoiler

Nature: preferably not -Def, flexible

Weapon: Hammer+ or Slaying Hammer (refined if possible), anti-cavalry axe (not available at the moment)
Assist: flexible
Special: Bonfire, Ignis, flexible
A Passive: Attack +3 (default), flexible
B Passive: Axebreaker 3, Lancebreaker 3, Quick Riposte 2/3, flexible
C Passive: Fortify Def 3 (default), flexible
Sacred Seal: Quick Riposte 3, flexible

Overview

With her default Hammer and Slaying Hammer+, Cherche has effective damage against armored units not using Svalinn's Shield. So, why not make use of that? This is a flexible build that depends mainly on what weapon Cherche will be using. That is to say, if Cherche is using an anti-armor weapon, then she will be an anti-armor unit and if she is using an anti-cavalry weapon, then she will be an anti-cavalry unit. As a result, this could be argued as less of a build and more of something to keep in mind that Cherche can do these things if needed regardless of what her "main" build is.

Although this build is fairly flexible, having -Def can be troublesome for Cherche fighting physical damage armored and cavalry units as she will take more damage from them.

Anti-armor and anti-cavalry weapons have a unique refinement option allowing them to negate field buffs, but not in combat buffs. So, an armor team all running Goads and/or Wards will not have those buffs negated, but if some of them are running Fortifies or Hones, then those will be negated.

Make a note of armored units using Svalinn's Shield and cavalry units using Grani's Shield as Cherche's effective damage against them will be negated.

And as always, keep Cherche away from magic users of those movement classes if she cannot finish them off and especially if they can counterattack in some way. Also, armored and cavalry archers as while Cherche can negate their effective damage against with Iote's Shield, she cannot avoid doubles from them if she's not fast enough and as a flier, she cannot use Bowbreaker to guarantee doubles on them and avoid doubles from them.

Skills

Weapons: This will be up to whoever Cherche will likely encounter or will need to target. By default, Cherche comes with Hammer+ and can evolve it to Slaying Hammer+ giving her effective damage against armored units not using Svalinn's Shield by default.

B Passives: Axebreaker, Lancebreaker, and any applicable -breaker really will ensure Cherche can ensure follow-ups on those units. For armored units, if they are running Wary Fighter and Cherche has a -breaker that affects them, then Cherche can double them if she already could; by having 5 more speed than them.

Terrifying Cherche
General use, debuffer (Panic), Legion's Axe

Spoiler

Nature: preferably not -HP, flexible

Weapon: Legion's Axe+ (refined if possible), flexible
Assist: flexible
Special: Bonfire, Ignis, flexible
A Passive: Attack +3 (default), Fury 3, flexible
B Passive: Renewal 3, flexible
C Passive: Panic Ploy 3, Fortify Def 3 (default), flexible
Sacred Seal: Panic Ploy 3, flexible

Overview

Using Cherche's high HP and Legion's Axe, this build aims to maximize Cherche's ability to inflict Panic on as many enemies as possible. At full health, =HP Cherche with Panic Ploy 3 as a C Passive or Sacred Seal -- do not use both at the same time -- can inflict Panic on anyone with <= 45 HP. Having +HP can increase her coverage to anyone with <= 48 HP, but other boons like +Atk, +Def, or +Spd can be helpful. On the flip side, -HP will lower her coverage to anyone with <= 42, but that's still decent coverage and having a refined weapon will increase her HP by 5; anyone with <= 46 HP.

While Cherche can function as a regular unit, doing whatever she can and whatever you want her to, this build does give her a specific role to inflict Panic on her enemies. As such, keep in mind how you position Cherche to allow her Panic Ploy to take effect as while the range is great, if her enemies aren't in Panic Ploy's range, then she will not be able to inflict Panic them. Also, keep in mind that enemies using in combat buffs such as Drives and Spurs or movement-based Goads and Wards will not be affected by Panic's effects. Panic will not do anything as it only affects field buffs such as Fortifies and Hones.

There are also some enemies that Cherche may not be able to inflict Panic safely with Legion's Axe such as mages, especially -blade mages who are not Panicked and/or have Close Counter e.g. a Reinhardt with Blarblade+, Close Counter, and Vantage, due to Cherche's low resistance and below-average speed if she's not +Spd. For instance, a Camilla with Legion's Axe would be able to inflict Panic by engaging most enemies and being able to take hits from them in return for not having ability to use Panic Ploy well due to Camilla's lower HP.

Skills

Weapons: An unrefined Legion's Axe+ can work fine as she can inflict Panic on her targeted enemy if they survive, but a refined Legion's Axe+ would be better as it would inflict Panic on the targeted enemy and enemies 2 spaces within them not to mention Cherche having an increase of 5 HP and whatever stat bonus you want for her. If you intend to primarily use Panic Ploy to inflict Panic, then other weapons can work as well such as Emerald Axe allowing Cherche to take less and inflict more damage against blues who are not running Cancel Affinity.

A Passives: Consider using Fury to boost Cherche's overall bulk while keeping in mind the 6 recoil damage that will affect her ability to use Panic Ploy if she isn't healed. For example, a +Spd Cherche with Fury 3 can have 32 speed allowing her to avoid doubles more easily and an additional 3 can come from having a speed refined weapon.

  • A +Spd, -Res Cherche with Fury 3 and a speed refined Legion's Axe+ would have 51 HP, 55 Atk, 35 Spd, 35 Def, and 15 Res which would allow her to Panic Ploy anyone with <= 50 HP and allow her to avoid being doubled by anyone with < 40 Spd. Her resistance, however, will be a notable weakness: 66 total and 41x2 magical bulk.

B Passives: Renewal can help to keep Cherche's health up along with mitigating Fury's recoil if that is her A Passive.

C Passives: With Panic Ploy being a Sacred Seal, Cherche can run something else if need. For instance, if she's on a flier team, she might want to run a flier buff such as Goad Fliers for her C Passive and Panic Ploy as her Sacred Seal.

Curious if you believe +3 attack sacred seal is better than Heavy Blade Sacred seal, to help luna and Draconic Aura etc?

Cherche's attack is so high (with +atk) with a hone flier she's going to have more attack than basically most (55)
So I'd imagine it's a pretty good seal choice

I personally would give Cherche Attack +3 rather than Heavy Blade, but Heavy Blade is technically superior since she can activate Moonbow on the second hit and crack high Defense units. In practice, it does not make much of a difference for Cherche, since Attack +3 is not that far off from Heavy Blade in terms of performance.

Cherche +Atk, -Res
Brave Axe, Moonbow
Death Blow
Heavy Blade

Non Red Enemies +Def
Bonfire
Fury, Axebreaker
Close Def

The only enemies who survive initiaion and kill Cherche are:
Armor: Amelia, WE!Chrom, WE!Lissa, Hector, Sheena
Cavalry: Frederick
Flier: Beruka, Michalis
Infantry: Bartre, Dorcas, BH!Ike, NS!Xander

If Cherche instead uses Attack +3 Sacred Seal, in addition to the above:
Gunter, Narcian, and Cherche kill Cherche.
Barst, Boey, HNY!M!Corrin, Gordin, and WE!Jakob survive, but they do not kill Cherche.

Cherche actually gets 61 Attack with Death Blow and 64 Attack if you add Attack +3 on top of that.

Two people already gave their input on it and I think it would be up to the player on what they want to do. Galeforce with Heavy Blade and/or Quickened Pulse.

There's so much to keep track of... I'm still thinking about putting in stuff for +Spd Cherche, Legion's Axe Cherche, and I guess you could call it "normal" Cherche who's mainly there for armor-busting. Just different options for whatever reason people would want to use them. And I gotta write up a general stuff that I'll put up below her introduction of skills that she can use in any build since stuff overlaps or is just plain useful like Reposition and maybe other stuff there.

All right, so I added in a general overview and considerations section as sort of an introduction, a Legion's Axe, Panic Ploy build, and kind of an anti-armor build that also includes anti-cavalry for whenever we get a Poleax in Heroes. Not sure where I would go for +Spd Cherche since it seems pretty general, now that I think about it. Then again, the anti-armor and anti-cavalry build is pretty general too since it's reliant on whatever weapon she's using.

Also, I revamped the descriptions for the builds to keep them a bit shorter. I think they're shorter... I type a lot.
