Strategy

- Like most reinforcement maps on Infernal, playing passive is quite difficult; it's more profitable to go in and get kills instead of baiting.

- As annoying as Skadi's map attack is, there's not much you can do to avoid it. Clearing out most of the enemies on the screen before the turn it hits is the safest thing to do.

- Abuse the trenches to your favour; they don't actually hinder your own horses that much, considering the spawn positions of enemies.

What's weird about it? He gets possessed, too.

I'm curious what exactly they'll do with him. I'm guessing he'll have Skadi as a Close Counter bow, but that wouldn't really differentiate him from regular Takumi, so that leaves questions about his other skills.

Nah, he won’t get Vengeance since that’s what his normal counterpart has. Anankumi will probably just get Reprisal instead.

Is there any chance for Takumi not being an Archer, or least being a flying Archer? 

After having only three decent archers for a long period (Lyn, Jeorge & Klein), I got plenty recently pulling for Roy (Corrin, Takumi, Innes and Roy himself), plus I have two perfect copies of Leon to be raised.

I was starting to regret promoting Lyon even though I didn't have a bonus unit, but now I can run two raven tomes for this. Skaldi's gimmick was that it cloned the user, so that will probably translate to there being two identical Takumis on the field (and maybe they'll have to be killed on the same turn like Minerva's Whitewings).

I doubt it, since possessed Takumi still uses bows and doesn't have a mount.

I doubt it, the Takumi in the final map of Conquest was a sniper.  However, he might be considered a armor unit for not moving in the final map similar to GrimaRobin being a armor unit. But that's wishful thinking on my part.The Free archers released in the past were Clarisse and New Years Corrin, I want him to be better than those two.

Yes, they could end up making him an armored unit as a reference to that and the Dragonskin skill.

Did Skadi even have s special effect built into it?  I mean outside of duplicating the user since I feel that won’t translate well as a skill in Heroes. I wonder if he’ll be armored or infantry. I don’t like armors all that much but he could be the first non-seasonal armored bow.

Skadi's main effect was being 1-4 range, which I think would translate to a Close Counter effect.

It's certainly possible that he'll be armored, but I don't see much of a reason why they'd do it. I think they'd rather save the next armored archer for another banner, seasonal or not, and Takumi doesn't have a need to be armored. So far, I think all GHBs have had unit types that were already available in the regular summoning pool at the time they were released.

I don't doubt it, but the rational for what makes an armor unit is arbitrary at best now.  If Christmas Tharja is armored, anything can be.

The Google Play Store (or the Apple equivalent) is faster than the Heroes app at knowing there's an update and doesn't come with the loud audio if you forget to mute your media volume.

1-4 range was mentioned, but it also has critical evade +20 which I guess would be Guard in Heroes, but some people might find that underwhelming compared to anything else.

One, a sufficiently thick and well made wedding gown would probably offer some arrow protection, maybe a couple slashes too, but not for long.

Two, Charja has the excuse of likely not being Armor originally back when she was supposed to be one of the first Seasonals before the FEH release got delayed. Owing to the weakness of Armors in the metagame as revealed later on, she got assigned Armor status to address this and make her more desirable.

They need to invent new forms of Special damage reduction perhaps. Aren't there like 10 different ways of reducing cooldown now? Would it be worth considering new ways of reducing incoming Special damage? Maybe the Siegfried can get such a way in a refine?
