fatgamecat
So I've finished SRW Dark Prison ex-hard and uploaded footage to youtube. As usual low turns, SR points, etc.
Soledai
Just watched the SRWZ3 PV (technically 4th but details), it's got my interest and Z never really interested me at all EDIT: You can't have a finale with Basara and co. and Gunbuster Edited December 24, 2013 by Soledai
Cybuster
Well it's been confirmed that like Z 2 it's been split into 2 games, this game is the Time Prison Chapter.
Acacia Sgt
I really need to get a PS3... I really should... at this point it's practically screaming "BUY ME ALREADY DAMMIT"... but anyway... Hm, Z3 is also split? And I was wondering if they finally went the Alpha games route and started to drop series.... maybe the missing ones end up there... perhaps. Fei Mao
Z3 looks exciting, looks like I'm getting Z3 instead of Full Boost now. Hmm is it really 2 part game? I thought the trailer said it was the final game of the Z series. Edited December 25, 2013 by Generic Operator

I thought the trailer said it was the final game of the Z series. Z3 is one thing, Cybuster was reffering to Z2 being two parts, specifically: Destruction and Regeneration
Nanami Touko
Well it's been confirmed that like Z 2 it's been split into 2 games, this game is the Time Prison Chapter. I believe he was saying that Z3 is going to be 2 games as well which it is, as it was confirmed during the reveal stream by terada
Acacia Sgt
Hmm... I've been thinking... the way this game's rooster set-up is, makes me wonder things. Stuff like Endless Waltz and Awakening of the Trailblazer means the game is sticking to the ZEXIS world. However, that CCA is using it's plot and Unicorn also appearing would mean they will travel back to the ZEUTH world at some point as well? It can't possibly be a 3rd world then can it? Then again, where exactly would the newcomers to the series come from then... then again, Z2-2 kinda did that without having another world so... hmm... Fei Mao
http://www.famitsu.com/news/201401/23046773.html More screenshots of Z3. (For those that arent following the gamefaqs board) One thing I noticed (and hopefully will be like that) is even though theres a twin system each unit will have their screen for animations compared to OG where it was split screened. More information about the new systems from what I could read: Tag Tension are special commands for the twin when this gauge reaches level 2. There are four types of commands and using one returns the gauge to zero, the following commands are: -Multi action:Destroying an enemy twin allows the twin to move again, only occurs one time. -Bonus PP: 2 times the PP gained from the next enemy destroyed. -Bonus Chips: 2 times the Z-chips gained from thr next enemy destroyed. (Maybe currency for a bazzar like in Z1) -Charge SP: Recovers 15 SP for the main and sub unit's main pilot only. Ways to rise the gauge are: 1. In the map the number of enemies shot down by a twin exceeds a multiplier of 2. 2. When a main or sub unit's main pilot levels up. Tactical Combos: Is a five leveled gauge that rises when killing enemy twins/teams in succession. The gauge decreases (doesnt specify amount) when you fail to kill an enemy twin or if you end your turn it returns to zero. As the gauge rises you get deal 1.05 times more damage to the enemies. (1.25 at level 5) You also gain 1.05 times more Z-chips and money. (1.25 times at level 5) More info here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/751148-dai-3-ji-super-robot-taisen-z-jigoku-hen/68393816/772293002 Edited January 23, 2014 by Generic Operator

Excellen Browning
I remember continuous action being pretty OP in Z2, so why put it back in with another name? Also not too happy with all the gauges added. The SRW games that I've played have a relatively simple battle system, but it works very well. I can't help but feel that Z3 is gonna overcomplicate/bloat it up.
Jedi
I just started SRW J. Three favorite series I picked were Gundam Seed, G Gundam and the Originals. I've only played OG on the GBA till this fyi

I can't help but feel that Z3 is gonna overcomplicate/bloat it up. Most SRWs after Z1 have been easy or average difficulty, it's been a trend for years. From what I read you have to defeat a couple enemy squads to get the continuous bonus (among other things you can choose like double pilot points). I like that they're trying new things. I'm guessing Z3 is going to be about as easy as Z2-2, but still a fun game to play through.
Excellen Browning
Maybe if they brought back battle masteries/SR points things will be a little more interesting for the challenge seeking crowd.
Cybuster
New Scans http://imgur.com/3RuFmRy http://imgur.com/fkP4JKd http://imgur.com/oFRRFsG [spoiler=Original Characters] Hibiki Kamishiro is basically a Heero Yui arc type: - A Beast Hunter (A specialist fighting alter dimension monsters) - His dad is a military veteran. - His client is from DEM Corp. which he becomes the Test pilot for Geminion. - Deep inside, he doesn't open his heart to no one. Will sacrifice anything to accomplish his mission. Saijou Suzune on the otherhand is a typical trainee-teacher: - A College student becoming a trainee-teacher where Hibiki was transfered. - Age 21. - Overall kind hearted and likes to take care of others. - Pretty popular amongst students. - Ends up piloting Geminion due to some incident happening. Acacia Sgt
Interesting. Genion... Genion... it's hard to pin which Zodiac sign is gonna be in this one... Gemini? Then again, with the way you misspelled it as Geminion makes it like the only one that can fit anyway. Hm, I took note of the UCW and ADW marked on the text. I'm gonna guess it's for Universal Century World (Z1's) and Anno Domini World (Z2's)? With the way they're presented it makes it sound, or at least it makes me think, like there is a 3rd world involved (not like it wasn't a given anyway, considering how Z's plot has gone), but possibly also visiting the previous 2 as well (again, almost a given considering the series used).
