Skills:
Sage: Rally Magic (Level 5),  Tomefaire(Level 15)
Personal Skill: Persuasion of the Elements (Every attack turn, Eloise has a 25% chance of increasing her magic attacks or healing staff uses by 5 points.)

General gist of Supports:
  • Corbyn - Eloise is very taken by the sight of Corbyn's majestic Pegasus and then actually has a talk with Corbyn himself.  The two have a pleasant greeting with one another where Corbyn sees Eloise as a worthy soldier to fight at his side but Eloise becomes more interested in knowing what sort of man Corbyn is.  In the second conversation, Corbyn meets with Eloise to bring up the rumor he heard about her once being a princess in her childhood but finds her becoming more uneasy about discussing her past further.  In the final conversation, Eloise meets with Corbyn to reveal what happened to her family when she was very young as a way to reveal what her past.  Corbyn is saddened to learn that he was unable to do anything about saving Eloise's kingdom but the two still have a positive relationship to ensure that they continue their battle to defeating the enemy.
  • Petrichor - Eloise sees Petrichor edging close to the state of being drunk and warns him that the battlefield will not allow them to revel in any such an act without risking themselves being critically harmed while Petrichor manages to be amazed that he is meeting with a girl who isn't intimidated by his presence and decides that she might be worth meeting a second time.  In the next conversation, Petrichor meets with Eloise and gives a few joking observations about what he saw on the battlefield.  Finally the two agree to support one another in battle and use the fun they are having in supporting one another as their struggles continue.
  • Ajax - Eloise goes up to Ajax and introduces herself with the intention of finding a new friend in him, but Ajax is unimpressed with meeting her when he sees that she is basically a more optimistic version of him but sees her as a potential ally at the least.  In the second conversation, Eloise comes to Ajax's assistance and defeats several soldiers who could have killed him.  This causes Ajax to see Eloise in a more favorable fashion than he saw her before.  In the final conversation, Ajax comes to Eloise and confesses that he finds being in her presence to be something he wants to continue for the rest of his life.  Eloise finds the confession funny because of how it's his way of saying that he wants to marry her but assures Ajax that she finds the feeling to be mutual and they agree to stick with one another to see through to the end of the conflict so they can be together.  *Potential Marriage Ending*
  • Blake - The conversations primarily depict Eloise trying to get through to Blake and causing him to shred some of the secretive nature about him.  Over time Blake begins to find a reason to stay loyal to his current group because he realizes how he is in fact part of a group that intends to perform justice for the greater good and Eloise is in fact an indication of where he is now.  In the end, he lets go of his plans to backstab any of his fellow soldiers and gives thanks to Eloise for opening his eyes to what the good in everyone is capable of doing.  *Potential Marriage Ending*
  • Karen - Eloise is shocked when she finds that Karen doesn't have the ability to speak but notices that Karen still seems to understand everything that she is saying.  With this established, Karen agrees to let Eloise ask things about her.  In the second conversation, it is established that through using a series of nods and head shaking, Eloise begins to learn how to understand everything that Karen says and they are both able to confirm a friendship with one another despite not being able to verbally confirm with one another.  In the final conversation, Eloise gives a confession discussing how happy she is to find a friend in Karen and offers a few pieces of her past revealing some things that she never told anyone else.  Karen gives an indication that she is happy to meet with Eloise and the two strive forward into their conflict as the best of friends.

Class: Pre promote Swordmaster

Unlocked near the end of the game by completing every gaiden chapter and discovering the hidden runes in every area.

He is a middle-aged man who stands tall wearing clean, fine clothes that are mostly dark-colored.  He has an angular face, a small nose and mouth.  He has eyes that are rounded.  His thick black hair is shoulder length and tied in a ponytail.

With no investment, Juubei joins as one of your army's most powerful units, with a significant strength stat to back up exceptional skill, speed, and luck. While sword locked, Juubei is one of the best users of magical swords, which allows him to fight better at 1-2 range. Though his defense and HP are mediocre, his excellent avoid and damage output helps mitigate these durability issues. He's also got decent resistance, for what it's worth.

Hailing from the same small kingdom as Wukong, Juubei has spent many years wandering the earth to study and uncover the truth of the runes and the ancient religion. He was very curious as a boy and left from a young age to pursue adventure and understanding, accumulating as many riddles and proverbs as he could while also honing his swordsmanship. However, as he aged, he became sterner and more reclusive, having found himself getting into too much trouble too often. It made him an unparalleled warrior, and gave him an extreme appreciation for his privacy. He has since faded into a rumor, a traveling swordsman who speaks little and possesses unknowable knowledge. Also, don't make fun of his ponytail.

Juubei comes with a personal equip: Runic sword, which is a personal weapon that while lacking the HP taking properties of a Runesword, has its own advantages due to its increased range to 3 range.

Class skills: Same as Swordmaster

Personal: Draconic Blitz (If a multihit move is activated, adds +50 Crit to attacks)

Supports: Only has talk conversations with characters in final chapter. I'll put three here:

Wukong: Juubei hails Wukong and they reminisce briefly about Wukong's upbringing and how Juubei had met with him previously as a relative of the noble Wukong grew up under. Wukong asks what Juube's been up to and there's a brief description of what's been going on.

Galfir: The conversation almost immediately turns to the similarity that Galfir's Axe has to the Runic Sword. They muse on this briefly, but Galfir has to remind Juubei that there's a major battle going on as he's looking very closely at it, seemingly distracted.

Bianca: Notes her energy seems similar to the villain who has caused all of this, then proceeds to threaten her and ask how she's infiltrated the lord's forces. She remarks that for a man who's just shown up it's a bit much to be accusing her of being a menace, while also explaining that her grandfather's actions are something she's had issue with for a long time.

I know, he's initiating here, but the idea is that he has his reasons.

Mercenary

A young woman, tall, with a long red ponytail. Her outfit forgoes sleeves and the midriff, but all her exposed skin, excluding a small bit of her face, is saturated with tattoos of roses on winding vines.

A fairly early recruit, Panthea's growths, and bases lean towards a mixed wall who can handle both magic and physical attacks. Her Speed is low, but her good Attack and Skill make up for it. Her Luck is below-average, and her HP is above-average.

The leader of a band of mercenaries known as the Thorns, Panthea finds herself hired by the protagonist early on, along with her subordinates. She is a calm and cool-headed leader who offers some early tactical assistance to the Lord. Her background is straightforward-she was a small girl in a village on the border between her Good Kingdom and the Evil Empire, and she was kidnapped by some bandits and sold into gladiatorhood. She managed to escape and with her newfound fighting skills (thanks to her trainer and coach, Garrick, the only man in the gladiator arena who treated her with respect and dignity), she formed a mercenary band.

Personal Skill: Steadfast Thorns, reduces damage taken by 3 and increases damage dealt by 1 when the enemy initiates battle

Supports:

  • Dionysus:
    • In their C support, Dionysus approaches Panthea with a long soliloquy about how roses are more beautiful than noble apparel and how women are more beautiful than roses and how Panthea is like the beauty of a rose and a woman combined. He gets shut down, so he just asks were Panthea got her tattoos done because he's looking to get some more ink.
    • In their B support, he tries the flirting again, this time with wine. Panthea takes the wine but still shuts him down, so they talk about roses and why they got their specific tattoos. Dionysus got his vine tattoo as a celebration of grapevines. Panthea got her first rose / vine tattoos to hide scars, but they mutated into a way for her to commemorate survival in the arena, and as she got more and more of them, she began to ascribe a superstition to them, that they acted as armor and helped keep her alive.
    • In their A support, Dionysus forgoes the flirting and approaches Panthea with a conversation about charms and superstitions, such as her tattoos, and whether their power is real or imagined. Both agree that there is something real to the idea, and Dionysus is surprised when Panthea ends the conversation by saying they should speak again sometime.
  • Mule: They complain about the evil empire, and how it ruins perfectly decent livelihoods. However, Panthea gets upset with Mule for only caring about how the empire negatively affected his business- her origin left her with something of a bleeding heart. Mule explains that he cared about his family and neighbors and not just himself, but Panthea still argues that he's selfish and should care about strangers, and that he should be fighting for them instead of fighting because he's upset about his shop. Mule tries to turn the support chain around by asking about those Panthea cares about and if she would approach the war differently depending on how it affect them. This doesn't get him off the hook, but it lets us hear more about Garrick and Panthea's family.
  • Floyd: Panthea tries to help Floyd not be such a schlemiel and it doesn't work. She finds his kind attitude is a little endearing at first but quickly grows frustrated with him. A theme throughout their conversation is Panthea telling Floyd to be more discerning, but Floyd maintains his trusting ways despite continually being scammed. Eventually, his bubbly and trusting nature actually works out for the better of everyone, and Panthea considers that there may be some benefit to giving people the benefit of the doubt. Floyd admits that he might still be too trusting.
  • Rex: Rex struggles to keep up his tough guy persona while training with Panthea, but it eventually breaks down. Morbid curiosity leads him to ask her about her tattoos and time as a gladiator, and the support chain consists of Rex getting really queasy a lot. Panthea suggests that he should get a tattoo to try and acclimate him to pain a little more, and he really really doesn't like this idea. The two also discuss the importance of safety on the battlefield and making sure wounds are taken care of quickly, and Rex is surprised to find that the tough girl Panthea is equally adamant about this. The two can S-support, and agree to always be there to protect each other and make sure they stay in good health.
  • Kiki:
    • In their C support, Panthea gets onto Kiki for being a bandit and is shocked that Kiki doesn't feel very bad about that.
    • In their B support, Panthea shares stories of how bandits hurt "a girl" to try and show her the error of her ways, and says that the given example reflects many innocent people, but Kiki just gets indignant and tells her to shut up.
    • In their A support, Kiki admits to Panthea that she was wrong to participate in banditry, feeling so bad for the girl in the story. Panthea reveals that the girl was her, and muses that her personal sufferings were used to bring about goodness in the world.

Events: Keeping Panthea and her goons alive will unlock a few base conversations over the course of the game, most notably one early on which yields them all some experience and another in the early-middle portion of the game which nets you a free Iron Blade.

Mateo, Wolf of the Mountain (Male)

Apologies, I forgot.

Wolf Laguz

Transformed, he looks very rough, with several cuts, scars and tufts of hair cut away, with one of his ears shorn quite severely. However, he is able to cover most of these in the full set of clothes he wears while untransformed, the only hint of his rough appearance being the cut ear and two fingers off his right hand.

Mateo's growths are focused on being a well-rounded physical unit: His HP, Strength, Speed and Defense, individually, won't blow anyone's minds, but all together, they end up being pretty good. He doesn't get much Magic, Luck, or Resistance, and his Skill can be a bit shaky, but if you want someone who's fast, strong, and tanky all at once, he's a good choice for that.

Mateo lives on the Horned Dragon Peak, and is the guardian of it's treasure, the Dragon Crest (The first third of the Fire Emblem). He is a loner, raised only by the previous guardian, his father. He understand he will live a lonely life, find someone to take his place, and then die in obscurity... until the Lord asks him to join the group.

Skills: Personal: Unnerving Eye, Sharpened Claw (While transformed, gains +3 Damage/Speed (Does not affect hit) when initiating combat and if enemy initiates, reduces enemy's hit and evade 15.), Level 1: +5 HP, Level 10: Drag Back (Drags ally back by one space, leaving ally in place of unit who used skill), Level 10: Rhythmic Dissonance (reduces effectiveness of rhythm and dancing related skills by half to all units in 3 tiles), (Go ahead and use Rhythmic Dissonance on someone else) Level 25: Iron Hide (Reduces damage by half regardless of range. Activates on (Def+Res)/2), Level 35: Gauge Resilience (reduces transformation gauge reduction while transformed by 1 per turn and combat)

Events: Mateo gets a Bestial Icon (an item that allows a laguz unit to stay transformed for a chapter if used.) if he helps in the defence of a beast clan's migration in a gaiden chapter. He can get another in the late game by searching in a cluster of stones in the chapter and a third from a beast tribe leader. These aren't exclusive, but he can make use of them.

Mateo and Caliban (If he promoted to Revanent) can while transformed force a set of beast enemies to stand down, with one of them even giving an item afterwards and some of them joining in the next chapter.

Mateo can get a Talisman from the tribal chiefs as a token of thanks for the work his and past generations have taken to guard the Dragon Crest depending on questions he's asked.

Supports:

Caliban: Mateo initially tries to find a way to connect with the distant Caliban, but Caliban tells him to go away initially, questioning why a laguz would come to him seeking help, especially after what he'd done. This gets Mateo curious and he promises to return after some time to discuss what he'd read up on. In the B support, that time has passed and he comes to his conclusion: namely that Caliban isn't the same as the beasts that the Accursed are because of how they were forcibly altered physically and mentally and that while that weight is on Caliban it should not be allowed to crush him. This gives Caliban pause and he relents, thanking Mateo. Caliban then starts to ask about Mateo's past, at which point Mateo just describes what he was briefly and leaves it that that for then. In the A support, Caliban asks Mateo to go into more detail, which he does, describing the Crest he guarded, the kind of life that he had as a result and he also goes into why he briefly left and came back (essentially not wanting to be tied to such a task alone, but after having failed to find such aid and even paying for it with his fingers returning a failure to his dying father, who thanked his son despite everything). Caliban decides then that regardless of what he was, such a task is something that requires a protector and he is willing to do so.

Issac: Mateo is approached by Issac, who asks him about his role as the guard of the Crest. Mateo takes Issac aside and questions how he knows and why he wants to know more. When Issac explains about his father's actions and why he wants to use it in stopping the cult, Mateo admits that while noble, he can't exactly trust some random being with such knowledge. In their next support, Issac decides to show off a bit of his skills with a bow as an attempt to wow Mateo, which still doesn't convince him to tell Issac anything as such feats do not mean one is worthy of the emblem. In the A support Issac admits that trying to be some legendary hero was a part of why he was trying to do so as he wasn't exactly seeing any way to change his life for the better due to his father siding with the villains of the setting. Mateo admits that his own knowledge is very limited about the emblem as a whole and that he's sorry he can't help. They laugh it off and Issac ends it with a groan-worthy joke.

Karen: Karen and Mateo happen to stop in front of one another in a small tent. The one-way conversation boils down to him apologising for being in the way and asking her to move so that he can get certain things. After thanking her, he leaves wondering why she said nothing. The next conversation begins with Mateo trying to get Karen to say something and getting nowhere fast. She then shakes her head and writes down that she is cursed to not be able to speak. Mateo asks if there's any way to help and she shakes her head again. He leaves bummed out, but decides he can do something. The A support is Mateo telling stories about the journies he had taken and some of the more interesting tidbits of his life as a "giant guard dog", which gives her a smile and she tries (though fails) to laugh in response. He sees that as a good step and asks that he can try to help, despite his lack of magic, which she agrees to.

Persephone: Mateo immediately recognises her for a young woman he saw briefly during his own wandering before he took the role of guardian. Persephone immediately responds by leaving, Mateo following for a while before losing her and cursing how he handled it. However, he said something about how he saw a face that never wanted to be up on the stage, a line that confuses Persephone. In the B support Persephone walks up to him and asks why he was chasing after her. She is standoffish at first, but as he explains the shame he felt in doing nothing to help her and trying to apologise for his own apathy, she starts to ask why he cares. He explains that for him to have complained about being trapped in his role as a guardian felt like nothing compared to how she must have felt up on that stage. She thanks him and leaves. In their A support, the two happen to run into each other, with Persephone smiling for once upon seeing him. Mateo asks if she wanted to take a brief stroll to the grove nearby, putting on implying airs. Chuckling, she agrees, but when they get there Mateo asks her a different question to what she expected: "If you were to find yourself bound to a rock as your duty, would you still be as you are?". Persephone affirms she would, which Mateo respond to by saying "I think your fire is because you saw so much but it was out of your grasp.". He explains that to him, her strength is because she knew there was so much more than the life she had been bound to and that is what he admired most in her. Persephone nods, but disagrees that she would have been as bound if she had been stuck to a mountain for her life. He is unable to say anything to that, but she opines that maybe they should talk of lighter things, so they may have something more than guilt and pity between them. Mateo agrees starting to discuss a fine Jerky he learned of since he joined the army and offers her some, which she declines, asking him to change topic.

Misc.:

Death: "The Horn is unguarded..... Why did I leave.... it...."

Final Map: "The Emblem has been gathered. We must now bring this foul miscreant to bear with it and our valour. Now is the time for our fangs to deliver us!"

Solo ending: Mateo returned to the Horned Dragon Peak, placing the crest in its rightful home to be protected by future generations. He managed to convince several devouts to assist in the protection of the crest and himself, with an order established to ensure the crest would remain in place until needed after he died.

A fairly standard thief, really. He fast. He not too strong. He has good res, though.

***

Being a thief doesn't always have strictly advantageous results. Sometimes it results in having your legs turned into panther legs by a spiteful witch who you stole from. Of course, as the old saying goes, it's sometimes good to have panther legs, and Eric makes the most out of his. Not only do they make him look weird, necessitating he hide them under his snuggie cloak, they also let him run fast and junk.

Despite it turning his legs into panther legs, Eric is impenitent about his thieving ways. He looks out for his friends and for himself- who he gets the money for them from is not really a big deal. Secretive about his private affairs but boldly confident about his opinions, he's a tough man to befriend, but a loyal ally to the ends of the earth.

What his past has taught him, however, is to be very superstitious and collect a bunch of talismans.

Personal Skill: Animal Leg.
If Eric doesn't move for a turn, he can move twice as far on the following turn. Also provides +2 Move.

Normal skills: Lockpick, Evasion +10.

----------------------------------

Supports: Eric is very superstitious, and has several supports with magic users. Dark magic gets his distrust and suspicious, Light Magic has him asking to break his curse, and Anima magic has him curious.
He talks also of stealing with other thieves, and he tries to train with a Myrmidon to get better at swordplay.

Class: Theif -> Assassin/Rogue

A short woman in her late teens. Has black hair. She wears loose-fitting, modest clothes with lots of pockets designed for convenience over fashion. She has a slight hunch from all of her crouching while sneaking around buildings.

Ignacia's growths lean her towards a slightly more combative role than other thieves, and she's probably one of the better Assassin candidates. Her Luck and Res leave a lot to be desired, however.

Ignacia is a spy for the protagonist's nation and often appears to give him information before vanishing. Her title refers to a thorny necklace she wears marking her as a prisoner working for redemption, a constant reminder that she is being watched for any mention of traitorhood. Ignacia is a loyal girl in her new position, however. She has a cool, effortless air about her that hides her high work effort and diligence. She is regretful of her past as a street urchin and wants to open or work in an orphanage to prevent other children from that past.

Leave all the hard work to me, will ya? I expect the next character not to be a mage in compensation for this.

Personal Skill: Penitence. When Ignacia takes damage, allies within 2 tiles heal some HP.

Supports:

  • Diego: The two share in their regret over harming others to make a living. Ignacia expresses admiration for Diego's courage, and  Diego shares some of his coping mechanisms with the thief, becoming something of a fatherly figure. In their A support, Diego is won over by the kindness of Ignacia's orphanage plan, and agrees to pledge his financial support and labor to this most worthy cause.
  • Panthea: This support, like Panthea's Dionysus support, delves into the mercenaries superstitions about roses and amulets and tattoos of roses, which Ignacia kind of gets but doesn't, because she believes the power is not literal (like Panthea's belief that the meaning behind her tattoos literally makes her tougher) but rather lies in how they affect the way the user thinks and acts (she believes her necklace keeps her humble and that makes her better). While the Diego support has her support partner share coping mechanisms, the Panthea support has Ignacia discuss the needs of the helpless and the importance of meeting them. They agree to work together to help orphans after the war.
  • Nikolai: The two bond over their rough childhoods, but it pretty soon diverges into Nikolai being all..."woah girl don't be so hard on yourself, like, if that necklace makes you constantly think you deserve to suffer as some sort of karma, like...get rid of it."
  • Nala: Having very different levels of wealth in their background, they compare their childhoods to promote compassion and understanding or whatever. Nala also begs Ignacia to do things, which the thief finds hard to refuse. However, Ignacia must eventually learn to not let herself be pushed around by Nala and Nala must learn that she can't always get everything she wants. She gives money to the orphanage too, like, this is how all Ignacia's supports end.
  • The Main Lord: We know basically nothing about the main lord, I think it's a girl who has a brother who resembles the mysterious wielder of a legendary axe and also hides in an orphanage? Regardless, Ignacia expresses incredible gratitude, as well as timidly trying to make sure her every move is agreeable and pleasing to the lordling she is indebted to.
