We bag and tag our creature, giving him a name Spoiler i haven't had lunch yet and I'm craving bologna, that's the inspiration We travel along route 38 fighting various Generic mooks untill we reach Route 39. We decide before anything else to head to the Miltank farm place and check things out how exactly does one small farm meet the demand for moo moo milk for two entire countries? And with only a few Miltank to boot. Spoiler What do you do with a dairy cow that won't produce any milk, put id down? That's what we do at my house when our chickens stop laying eggs. I'm genuinely curious. Spoiler Well I guess we should see how to heal the Miltank, and it requires I think just any old berry. I think I have a couple in my pockets, but they are VERY old Spoiler We fix Miltank up after running around for berries because I ran out and get access to the very best healing item in the game, Moo Moo milk! 100 HP of healing for less than a super potion? Hell yes! Spoiler With that done, we go and grab our encounter for route 39, which is... Spoiler YES MILTANK!! easily one of the best Johto Pokémon! Reliable recovery and on the field recovery lessens the potions I need to use Great coverage good bulk decent power great speed We catch and nickname our new team member! Spoiler With that done we make our way to Olivine City. Since Graveler and Golem learn moves at the same level, all I need to do is get with my friend and pull some time capsule shenanigans and we will have Golem! As always here is the team: Spoiler Your wife says otherwise Spoiler Hey no fair he hacked strength onto himself! The battle has begun! Spoiler I decide to start off with Nidorino, as it can easily take Primapes fighting moves and can do respectable damage with horn attack, the move im going for. He ends up outspeeding and goes for the leer, which is negligible Spoiler I go for Horn attack, and he goes for Karate Chop and gets the Crit! Doing half my health! I still need one or two more horn attacks to KO, discounting healing items Spoiler I had wanted to preserve Homer, but I decide I need to switch to him. Primeape goes for the karate chop and gets another crit! That could have killed Kramer depending on my RN roll! Spoiler I eat a Two hit fury swipes taking very little damage, go for the confusion, and kill off Primeape! Spoiler His next Pokémon is his star, Poliwrath. We switch into Vanflare because I want to heal Homer and Confuse Poliwrath Spoiler I heal Homer first, and Poliwrath goes for hypnosis which lands... Spoiler I wake up Vanflare, and Poliwrath (did I mention Poliwrath is one of my favorite Pokémon?) goes for surf doing a good amount of damage Spoiler I switch to Homer, and Poliwrath goes hypnosis, which he misses Spoiler At this point it just me tanking hits and hypnosis over and over while I chip away with Confusion and he's occasionally. Eventually I break through winning us the battle! We get the Storme Badge and yet another mediocre TM! More importantly, we get Fly which gives us a stab move for Vanflare! Spoiler The battle begins! her first Pokémon is Magnemite so I send in Rocky and press Magnitude, once again Rocky dominates Spoiler Her next Pokémon is Steelix, so we send out Jetstream. Spoiler We go for surf, doing a lot of damage, and Steelix goes for screech. Spoiler We use surf again, but Jasmine heals, so I press surf untill I get out of the heal loop and beat the Steelix with ease! Spoiler Her last Pokémon is Magnemite. we send in Rocky, and I don't think I need to describe what he does i actually got unlucky with magnitude level 4 but Magnemite goes down to one more, winning us the Mineral badge and TM23 Iron tail, something of a decent move! But will make a good replacement teammate should the worst happen We catch and nickname our new Pokémon Spoiler With that out of the way we make our way towards East Johto, heading towards Mahogany town We reach mahogany town and headband to the gift shop for some delicacys Spoiler Some of the townsfolk are saying there are some odd events unfolding at the lake of rage, so we stock up on supplies before heading there on out way we get yet another encounter in route 43 which is.... Spoiler good Pokémon, good power We catch and nickname be new Pokémon Spoiler Named after a blade in Xenoblade 2 Spoiler that would be my moonstone I'll be heading to the Lake of Rage first before getting it And right here is where my "special" supplies come in Spoiler My supplies are pokeballs it's a fucking shiny Pokémon of course I'm gonna catch it! I don't care if it's really undervalued Gyarados has an amazing shiny! We catch and nickname our new Pokémon! Spoiler Gyarados's life in a nutshell After dealing with the Gyrados we find something that can give us a very nice item, and we meet up with a certain someone Spoiler Yeah sure I'll help you Lance will be waiting for us In Mahogany town, which we will be going to to get our MOONSTONE!!
