We get an FE game with one voice actor used in the entire game since the avatar is a total chatterbox who doesn't even give any of the other characters a chance to speak, they narrate everything that's ever written in the game.  The voice actor by the way?  6IX9INE.

I wish the next main lord was named Chad.

I wish ambush spawns never existed in fire emblem.

Ambush spawns don't exist, but now escort missions with escort characters who die as soon as enemy units get within 5 squares of them and the maps demand the player have to go through 50 turns of advancement before reaching the end do.

I wish Fire Emblem Heroes had an annual subscription plan.

The original 500-page script per route by Shin Kibayashi.. IS edited and cut a lot of it, and the final product was completely different from what he envisioned.

I wish FE12 receives an official translation.

Granted, but it’s done by Treehouse. Anything even remotely pertaining to action or violence is cut, and to further this narrative they edited all animations, some weapon sprites and class descriptions so that the three primary weapon types are love, kindness, and homophobia.

I wish Raphael had thoughts beyond meat and training and Marianne.

It ends in a tragedy for everybody else to the point of where Thracia 776 can't happen since everybody else is dead.

I wish there was a final boss fight that took place in a bathroom.

Granted, but the bathroom is a dog's bathroom, meaning it takes place in an open field. No big change there.

I wish FE would have as many heavy metal tracks included as possible.

Granted, but they end up taking up the entire storage space on the cartridge, so fe17 is Fire Emblem: heavy metal collection, with nothing to do but listen to the unnamed songs.

I wish computer files always worked like how they were supposed to. ;_;

Every file you open that is Fire Emblem related is tracked by Nintendo and eventually it becomes enough to make them send in a swat team to confiscate your computer and all related equipment.

I wish the next game was a direct sequel to Geneaology of A Holy War.

Granted, now all the hard work has been undone and Julius/Loptyr has been revived after Manfroy, who somehow survived the final battle, sacrificed some virgins.

I wish we got an Awakening prequel.

Granted, but IS gets sued (and loses) for rereleasing a game called “Undertale”. Huh.

I wish for the next FE to have good minigames in its base.

Granted, but afterwards the game picks a random set of odds for RNG and rolls away, and if you get unlucky every character who participated in the game is killed immediately and you’re made to play the game again. If the lord happens to be included among the body count you have to replay the entire previous chapter from the beginning again. Oh and the game saves as soon as it determines what you rolled. 1 RN.

I wish that the next fe would have the final chapter be a dance battle.

Granted, and the rest of the game is a masterful mix of humour and serious moments, filled to the brim with amazing music and mini games. Just like another franchise I know

Buuuut the character loses after a long, long battle with a fixed result, and the ending is just the bad guy saying, "welp, guess I won."

 

I wish for the next FE remake to be a really good one.

Granted, but because no one bought Thracia, no one buys the remake and it tanks so IS sees this as a clear indication that they need more waifus. When Fire Emblem Echoes: Embers of Elibe comes out, Roy is now an avatar and the story is changed so that he is commando every single plot important battle always, all the ladies are always swooning over him, and the regular ending sees him in 21 relationships at once. The good ending adds Idunn to that list!

I wish Camilla didn’t exist.
