Blocking Threads?

I was wonder if it is possible to add a feature to block certain threads on the forums? Mostly due to disinterest or avoidance for those threads. I know there is always the option  to just ignore it, but I'm looking for something stronger.

You could probably just  PM a staff member, I think that would get this cleared up a lot faster.  To answer the question however I don't think SF has anything like that but maybe i'm wrong. I do agree that a filter would be useful if you only want to browse a specific topic(s)

this isn't a feature, and nothing the mods can enforce or turn on. jyosua might be able to dig something up, either an ip.board function or an add-in i guess? but the real answer is to not click on threads you don't want to read.

Understood  Ike, I'll bring my idea to him.

I don't know if it can be done or if the supervisors here have the means, but what about a blocker that makes certain tags invisible? I noticed that topics have tags associated with them, so as long as a topic is propely tagged, one would be able to avoid them.
