I've been going slow but steady in my quest to complete all the fire emblems. Finished:Sacred Stones (The cast was great. Lyon is now my favorite fictional character ever.)Genealogy of the Holy War (I actually had a lot of fun playing this, even if the gameplay was kinda slow. Lewyn is a strong contender for the favorite character spot.) Played but not yet finished:Awakening (Yes, my first Fire Emblem. I blazed through chapters 1-13 in a single night on my friend's 3DS because I don't have one.)Binding Blade (I mained Roy in Melee so I was super disappointed that he's basically an escort mission in this game. I keep trying to give him exp, but he keeps on dying. Thanks, my boy.)Blazing Blade (I'm didn't even get past Lyn mode because my save file got corrupted.) Currently playing through:Thracia 776 (I'm only on chapter 3. So far, Othin is MVP. Thanks, Pugi axe.) Other than that, I like to fan art occasionally and play soundtracks on my piano/cello. Posted July 26, 2018 Share Posted July 26, 2018 (edited) welcome to the forest, and maybe give conquest a go? it has great gameplay, but be warned, it does alot of over the top fanservice, so be prepared to wade through some trash, to find some gold. recomending this because of the FEs that i have played, gameplay-wise, conquest was one of the strongest, and you should probably add that experience to the list of completed games. also, for thracia, use a damn guide. seriously, its brutal blind. be warned, some tom-foolery happens in chapter 3, so give up to 13 (not 14 trust me you can't fill up) important items to leif and lifis, like the scrolls, some vulnerary's and multiple swords, like the fire sword for example. anyways, hope you enjoy your time here. oh and good profile pic, but maybe go more all-out on the absurdity of it. edit: DAMMIT @Axokumi HOW DARE YOU NINJA ME! Neat, now you'll get privileged access to incessant analyses about how cavaliers are the best units in the series. Though really, it's totally awesome you played Genealogy. It has the best story in the series, imo, even in spite of some of its kinks like all the ridiculous exposition segments or the hammyness of a lot of the villains (though personally that's just another thing that makes the game charming). I'm surprised you're trying to play all the FE games - I don't like or care for most of the games before Blazing Blade. Especially the Jugdral games - those are the ones that really feel like I'd have to wade through a swamp of manure just to get to what little good there is about them. Yeah, I did Genealogy blind for the first 2 chapters and oh man, instant regret. Yeah, I picked up Genealogy after I heard that it was based on some Norse mythology and literature. I'm a sucker for those types of narratives. I actually managed to get both rutger and Shanna so early game wasn't too bad my full roster is Roy, merlinus (both free for all), Shanna, Rutger, Lilinna, Noah, Gonzales, Fae, Cecilia, Melady, Garret, Cath, Wendy who was my third pick, Echidna, and Raigh I've heard of healing missing before. And that's cool.the scroll system looks really cool. I think SF has a translation patch avalible, I'm not too sure on that tho.
