Which Beatle had the best post-Beatles career?

Inspired by the realization that the White album turns 50 in about a month.

For my money, it's George. Had the best opening salvo with All Things Must Pass, founded the Traveling Wilburies with Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lynne, and continued to put out commercially and critically relevant albums and singles. Then again, I was never much a Lennon guy, and I could never get into McCartney or Wings.

Creatively, I'd go with George for all the reasons you listed. I'd wager Paul made the most money, but that hardly matters given how much they all made from the Beatles.

As people have said, George was the best artistically, Paul's been the most prevalent and consistently successful.

Ringo's arguably had the best career afterward, though. Mostly because people actually remember he was part of the Beatles, which is relatively more impressive.
