For the first time during my time playing this game...this is an easy skip.

They could have had Lilith, or Arete, or even Sumeragi, but nope. Another Corrin and Camilla alt. I don't usually mind alts but three on a banner? We sure this isn't an obscure seasonal reference?

Mikoto is also wearing Azura's clothing. So she's technically a alt

Yeah, I guess a Fates banner full of alts based in Valla is worth that much.

I...don't know why everyone is saying that the characters are wearing Azura's dress. Each one has a unique variation to it. And despite complaints, M!Corrin's IS clearly a male cut, it reminds me of either a very long tunic or a tabbard. Even the robes of a catholic priest is a closer comparison to calling it a dress. Also, didn't Arete's concept have similar patterings to these clothes? Since Mikoto was married to Anankos at one point, this might be traditional garb of Vallite Royalty, which is a VERY interesting idea from a lore perspective. I'm curious to see where this paralogue goes, and may try for the set. The art really is amazing.

Edit: checked on Arete. Her main appearance in the games is Nohrian based, further supported by her Cipher card, Queen of Nohr. Her second card, though, is Princess of Valla and her clothing is very much like Azura's.

What in the F! were they thinking when they come up with this? Who is going to spend orbs on this? I don't. And why do we need more Corrin and Camilla? Seriously, the designer who came up with this will create Legendary, Bride, Brave Camilla, put them all in a Forging Bond, gets fired for it, and dies before they wake up from their fantasy land.

Fates is not what Fire Emblem is all about.

Camilla is not what Fire Emblem is all about. Stop looking at porn when coming up with new content ideas.

I'll calm down and review the units when stats are out, I'll just take my compensation orbs and get the F! out of here. Seriously, who needs more Fates alt units?

Based on this, of course I hate it, Anankos in involved. I have some doubt that'll be the case for the Paralogue (I mean, why bring the worst villain in) because Loki's there, but still.

That is a pretty interesting concept. I have seen a lot of costume and pallet swaps on Reddit. Wish the alts are Singers though, since they are cosplaying as Azura.

Candlelight/Flash is nice, but if you got the resources to snipe for Flash, you got the resources to snipe for Firesweep Bow, which is a far better skill in my opinion. Firesweep Bow is a lot easier to use since you can abuse Dance/Sing-Reposition and it is a lot more efficient since you can low man your team and have the other two units be Blessing bonus units.

I think she is inspired by Azura? It is not a direct cosplay, but it got some ribbons and blueness, so it got the Azura feel.

It's making this banner ever better for me, even if I knew it was linked to anankos (because I think he is interesting).

Ah okay, I am still reading through the previous pages and have not caught completely yet on the latest posts. I thought Azura's outfit was unique to herself.

Considering this is effectively a Fallen Heroes banner, there are likely no demotions.

Honestly I haven't been this disappointed about a banner before. But I am one of those who are tired of Fates/Awakening banners over and over again, and I want other titles to get the same love. I just can't get excited over the Xth version of Corrin or Camilla to be honest.

Now if you all excuse me, I need to go to listen to some Genealogy music to calm down.

Well, I guess we're going to disagree on it. At least you're going to have a blast and I can save orbs, so there are some bright sides.

It does however seem fitting that they announce when BB and RD get banners soon before this though, right? I mean, of course it causes issues (even if for myself I'm not as mad as the comments seem).

How many banners in a row that are New Heroes without any demotes? I wish Mikoto gets demoted so the colorless pool would be better

I know someone has already commented that it is Vallite costumes, but another reason why they shouldn't sing is because we already had a Refresh Banner this year (Summer Festival) and adding another Refresh Banner with a TT refresher may be a bit overkill. Part of a refresher's charm is that they're not plentiful, so introducing too many at one time may kill interest in that unit type.

I can also see people getting upset about random people who could not refresh in their base games doing it in Heroes before real refreshers like Reyson and Tethys got in the game.

I can't recall if people were upset about that when that banner trailer came out. But then again, I think people were too busy laughing at Xander's dancing animation to care too much.

What a shame, depending on her skills she could have been one to demote. But I guess she won't.

For me this banner gives me mixed feelings, I really like Mikoto and Camilla. And want to pull for them. But I know the feel of saltiness in this one. I will try my luck.

Understandable. But it's still a gacha game, even if it's FE, so prioritizing the most popular titles and recycling popular characters with alts is the name of the game. Luckily I'm in the crowd that benefits from this since I like plenty of those characters, but I feel for the people who aren't.

Not counting seasonal we're on No. 3, with Muspell and Brave Redux before it.

Yeah, Mikoto being in 4* would remove the littlest of reasons for me to pull.

Who exactly is this banner designed for though? 
People who hate Fates hate this banner.
People who like fates would rather have the characters that are missing added to the game rather than the 22nd royal sibling alt.
That just leaves Corrin and Camilla fans, catering to the fans of two characters while pissing off everyone else seems like a bad money making scheme.

I like Peri too and hope she gets an alt some day, and you can imagine how well that would go over with most in the community.

And I'll be there to curb reactions, should they get out of hand.  I'm not a fan of how Peri was written, but if she has fans, they don't deserve to watch their favorite character get dumped on repeatedly.

I see one of my favorite Fates characters, in something that doesn't flatter his figure.  But that's okay, I'll do my usual "grab a character off the banner and deal with it".  Camilla's a bit more valuable to me, since my only other tome flier that I'm willing to use is Nowi. . .who is -Atk.
