I wish I could just ignore this mode entirely... If ever there becomes another way to earn a lot of grails though, I will start ignoring AR. That is not healthy. I treat Light Season as practice week, so I do not care about losses or not doing well. Plus I am in no danger of demoting during either season anyways, so there is no need to panic or be dramatic about it. There is also no need to ignore the mode. Winging it and doing the bare minimum of participating will still give lots of free resources, which is what I do during Light Season. You just need another Peony, Repel/Close Call, and Pulse Smoke, and you just need to switch BH!Lucina to Light for one season. So that is just three 5* exclusive units. I get one almost every light season and I just have a B!Ike+5 with Null C Disrupt and a B!Lucina as support, with 2 Eirs+0 and whatever free unit is on the bonus rotation just for scoring. Most of the time I don't even use all my ladders. Having and well set defense helps. I usually get less than 100 lift loss every week. Regarding AR: Nailah pulled through and we got T27 again. Top 500 right now, so probably safe for top 1K, and another throne to add to the collection. Last map she neutered a stack IP team, pulse smoke is great, though I will probably go back to her Gravity smoke (glare) once my Eir has Disarm trap, for those easy wins with Eirforce. The new Defense team did alright early in the week but started to fall off on like Day 3. Success today though, so only -60 lost throughout the week~ i was luckily hit 4 times in one day so I got a couple days with no challenges. It must have been thanks to my new bird beast defense map that only had -94 lift loss which is about half of what I usually get during light/dark season (thank you Tibarn for pity breaking me 😉 ). A Defensive Success, thanks to Saizo that was tanky and survived until the very end, and a Offensive Success against a base with 3 Catrias... and only 3 Catrias, with a Fortress at Lv 3 (lucky!). Wish me luck tomorrow! Just need one good rematch for the Gold Throne, and then I can finally take this mode easy forever and never bother with ranking again. — — — — — — — FUCK ME!!! PERFECT offense week! Used up all ladders and missed one Aether Structure (I can miss up to two), but no deaths on matches that count! I got into Tier 27 (13,436), but I am probably going to drop if I get hit on defense unless the AI kill two units. I hope high Tier 26 is good enough for a Gold Throne. Rank 36 right now. I hope I can finally just relax and make meme defense teams to help others get a Gold Throne and/or maintain Tier 21. Just too many matches where I couldn't use Annette. T27 may have been possible if I could have used her more but I'll probably have to give up on that~ Bright side is, she did well in most of the matches where I did use her.
