I’ll go first, as always with topics that I start. Here’s Neku Sakuraba, from TWEWY:

Spoiler

(Cross flairs as usual.)

We are in the Scramble Crossing seeing Neku fight against Mewtwo across the buildings. Mewtwo readies its Shadow Ball and shoots it, only to be intercepted by Pyrokinesis. Neku lands on the ground with Twister starting up in the background. “This isn’t part of the Reaper’s Game, is it?” He thinks to himself.

Neku Makes Some Noise!

(Gameplay)

The trailer ends with Neku using his Final Smash, Final Fusion, to defeat Mewtwo, who launches far into the sky. Then, a mysterious figure appears.

“So you are ‘Neku?’” He asks. Then, he reveals himself.

Black Shadow Joins the Battle! (Couldn’t think of a creative pun)

SUPER SMASH BROS ULTIMATE

Considering Neku's done already:

Serious (Well about as you can get):

Spoiler

(Usual Opening)

The video starts with Ridley flying down onto the top of a light blue tower, roaring triumphantly. Ridley looks to the large purple sphere in the background, thinking how he could use it. However, he then gets struck by several swords from a distance by an assailant who then hits Ridley away and we finally see him standing silently, looking at the sphere concerned at its presence

Isaac Shakes the Stage!

Proceed to footage on the Elemental Lighthouse, (Venus in this footage, mainly differentiated by the brown sphere in the background). Here, Isaac is using psynergy from the move and growth psynergy to push and trap, to offensive psynergy like Odyssey and Gaia (which shakes the stage) with a final smash where Issac summons Iris down on the stage, similarly to Cloud's summons (Alternatively uses the Meggido unleash for his FS (could be for it a meter FS too)). After the title card, Issac turns to face a boss: Saturos and Menadri coming down on the stage.

Not serious at all:

Spoiler

A few characters are wandering a dark stage, spooked out because they're trying to find an actual cannibal. Suddenly a knife hits Ike, knocking him off the stage. The Ice climbers barely dodge an axe and they hear Wario off scream from a trap. They then see behind the curtain.....

Shia LaBoeuf, Come to Carve!

Then a gameplay montage starts up of Shia's knife abilities, grappling and trap setting with this song in the background. Much death ensues. It ends with Shia clapping as we zoom out to see enemies trapped with bear traps.

Well, that’s okay. I’d like to see your take on Neku.

Also, the not-serious-at-all one made me lol.

Here’s mine: it is serious, but it’s also meant to be funny because of the character in question:

There’s a situation: a bunch of Mario characters in Smash are having to leap up to face the situation. But one sillouette remains at the bottom; raising its arms desperately; unable to leap away. The audience sees that this is the newcomer: Captain Toad. The screen reads: Captain Toad leaps into action! ...Or not.

Captain Toad spots a ground lever like those in his home game, and the ground raises, but not far enough. He then has an idea: he swallows a double-cherry, a cannon emerges from his backpack and fires the second Captain Toad way above Mario and the others and into his mine cart, which then barrels down at high speed and throws turnips at the opponents.

Then his gameplay is showcased: his standard special being pulling a switch to create a pillar platform, his side special being the mine cart, his up special being the double-cherry and cannon, and down special being throwing turnips (and other objects, such as piranha sprouts). His standard attacks being hitting opponents with items from his backpack, such as stars and diamonds, and his running attack is him charging forward with his pickaxe.

He then is seen climbing a ladder. One of the heavy fighters punches it hard enough that the area crack, and Captain Toad plummets backwards, landing onto Draggadon: his final smash.

Then the rest of the Toad Brigade show up, as well as Toadette and normal toads with ? blocks as backpacks, revealing that these are his alternate palettes. The trailer ends with all the opponents from the trailer dazed and confused while the entire Brigade show off the treasure they’ve obtained in a matter like that from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

What do you think?

How about Dark Matter from the Kirby series?

Spoiler

Trailer Name: The Dark Eclipse

Cross as normal.

Meta Knight is flying in the Halberd, which seems to be a normal night for him. Suddenly, the clouds turn dark and circle the moon, which stops as the sun quickly comes behind it. The controls stop working and the crew begins to panic.

Meta Knight flies to the bridge and scans the area. All he can see is the eclipse, until suddenly a dark orb come flying at him at high speeds. Meta Knight dodges to his right, and looks up to see a familiar enemy in a cloak…it is revealed to be Dark Matter, who draws his blade.

“Dark Matter Casts His Shadow!”

(Obligatory gameplay montage)

Dark Matter and Meta Knight continue to clash blades until Dark Matter swats away Meta Knight’s and beats him (or rather, cuts him) down to the ground. Dark Matter charges for the final blow, but Kirby comes in time with the Rainbow Sword and intercepts Dark Matter. Kirby helps Meta Knight up, and the two charge towards Dark Matter.

here's one that I did for the black knight a while back

Spoiler

the trailer is named Jet-Black General

(typical ultimate trailer opening animation)

(brief montage of smash bros characters facing off against their villains now including DK, Diddy, and K. rool)

the camera is focused on a torch in what appears to be a castle made up of beige colored bricks, there appears to be a red carpet trailing off into darkness in the background, it lingers for a moment and begins to slowly zoom out showing more of the scene

the camera stops after about 3 seconds of slowly zooming out two swords clash with one another, they appear to be the master sword and ganondorf's sword (whatever it's name is)

the camera then cuts to a further zoom where link and ganondorf are clearly visible link goes in for an attack and misses, ganondorf then proceeds with his counter attack, link barely blocking it with his shield, ganondorf with great strength launches link back, the strength of the attack was so great that it blew out several of the torches in the room

the camera cuts to link where he lands on his belly displaying the sheer impact of the attack

the camera then cuts to link's perspective with ganondorf slowly approaching appearing to want to end this confrontation definitively, in the darkness there is then a blue fire which flashes lighting some of the torches back up in the darkness you see a figure throw their sword into the air and come down while shouting "aether!", ganondorf dodges the attack barely, this mysterious warrior is then revealed to be Ike who is now positioned between link and ganondorf

ganondorf then jumps unnaturally high attacking Ike head on, Ike blocks the attack leading to a clash where Ike with his great strength launches ganondorf out far back just on the edge of the darkness, ganondorf stumbles slightly in his landing leaving himself open

Ike then charges at ganondorf who is unable to respond to the follow up, ganondorf is slammed full force into the darkness where a notable thud(can't think of a better descriptive word, how do you write the sound of a person slamming into a brick wall?) is heard

Ike then begins to slowly walk into the darkness to continue the fight or confirm that the battle is over

then several torches light up

the camera then cuts to a massive crater in a wall in the back, it then pans down and to the right to center on ganondorf collapsed on the ground next to a throne

"I am impressed with your progress, son of gawain" says a mysterious voice

the camera then cuts to the right side of the throne(while facing it) and begins to slowly pan left eventually showing an armored black boot, the camera then cuts to a hand on the arm rest of the throne also covered in black armor positioning itself as though whoever is sitting there is about to get up

"I have been waiting for this moment for a long time, that I may test my skills against not just you but all the warriors of this world" the mysterious voice continues

we then cut to a sword which looks almost like a 1:1 replica of ragnell, on the left hip of this figure as they stand upan armored hand grabs the handle

"so what do you say, shall we settle this here?"

we then cut to a front view as the figure takes out the sword stretching out his arm away from his body pointing the sword straight out, then he proceeds to point the sword at the camera

"Black Knight Takes a Stand"

he then charges at Ike to unleash an attack

(typical gameplay montage, with vanguard and lord alts and class change alts for all other FE characters shown off(say what you will this is my dream reveal))

the montage ends with Ike appearing to be losing bad, but then we hear a voice from behind him

"if this is truly the best that the "Radiant Hero" has to offer, in that case, I think it best that I take it from here"

this character is revealed to be zelgius (no splash screen because he is an alt, not an echo or new fighter)

(more gameplay revealing part 4 endgame zelgius as another alt and concluding with eclipse as his final smash)

the trailer then cuts to a dark forest scene with the black knight slowly turning his back to the camera while saying "Is that, all there is? No challenge? no Resistance?"

(typical smash ultimate trailer ending)

I have also been thinking of a good dragonborn reveal

Spoiler

the trailer is titled A Shout to the heavens

(typical smash trailer opening)

the trailer begins with marth fighting ridley on top of a snowy peak, marth is trying to land even a single hit on the monster but ridley just seems to dodge every hit, marth then charges trying to hit ridley with shield breaker, marth misses, then ridley trys to hit marth with his tail, the attack just barely misses marth's head (the beginning verses of the song of the dragonborn begin playing but it is still kind of toned down to prevent the audience from hearing it instantly), marth then takes this opportunity to raise his sword to retaliate, ridley then grabs his wrist and forces him to the ground (the music is becoming louder and the chanting is becoming more defined), then just as ridley is about to finish marth off with his fangs, "fus ro dah" is heard as ridley is launched away being slammed into a word wall (showing that this is the throat of the world), ridley then gets up and we are shown a full body image of the dragonborn preparing to shout again (this is timed to the song so that once the song reaches its loudest and most iconic verse we have the full image)

Dragonborn Causes an Uproar

he then shouts at ridley again, launching him off the mountain

(gameplay is shown displaying the dragonborn's specials including unrelenting force and his primary weapon dragonbane, alts are also shown, including female dragonborn (probably would have to be only nords due to the differences in builds and appendages making elves and beastfolk less reasonable depending on how you look at it), the dragonborn kirby hat is also shown off for laughs, the 7000 steps stage is shown off as well(the 7000 steps would be a scrolling stage where the group would begin in ivarstead and would fight up the mountain up to high hrothgar and then the throat of the world, where a battle against paarthurnax and alduin would happen))

after the gameplay montage we return to marth, m'aiq the liar then approaches him and asks why he does not get up, paarthurnax then lands and roars startling him making him cower, marth then buries his face in the snow

(ending animation)

This thread hasn’t been active in over two months. How about…?

Spoiler

The trailer begins as a 2D anime scene with Kirby sleeping at the Fountain of Dreams. Suddenly, everything turns pitch black with darkness. Kirby wakes up and notices everything around him. Suddenly, he sees a vortex appear above him.

”…Leave this place. You are not fit to protect it.”

The figure lowers himself down to Kirby. The figure’s blue eye gleams, and he reveals himself.

“Darkrai Enters the Void!”

*obligatory gameplay montage*

Darkrai and Kirby continue to fight, and Darkrai captures Kirby with Nightmare, but Kirby breaks free and charges towards Dakrai, and the trailer ends.

Spoiler

Ike is fighting Robin and Meta Knight on Battlefield. The battle is getting pretty intense, but as the three leap towards each other, they suddenly get ensnared in a web and chucked off stage. The camera then pans up to reveal their assailant... well, almost. As the camera pans upward, three disembodied gloves direct the camera leftwards. The camera then pans over to their assailant (for real this time), who is adjusting his apperance.

TARANZA NETS A SPOT!

(cue gameplay)

Taranza then looks to see the trio of fighters, covered in webs and particularly angry. Trailer ends as they rush to attack him and as Taranza charges a Super Taranza Burst.

Spoiler

Samus and Simon are shown exploring a deep, dark cave within Great Cave Offensive. They both tread carefully, as to not awaken whatever sleeps within. Samus shines a flashlight ahead, catching a small, shadowy figure which quickly vanishes into the darkness. On high alert, Samus redirects the beam in the direction the shadow dashed off, but to little avail. Simon, not wanting to die in a dark cave, throws down Holy Water to get some better lighting. Just as he does so, the figure finally shows itself, and performs a Desolate Dive attack, knocking back its stalkers. After it lands, the creature, now in full view, draws its nail (basically a sword).

THE KNIGHT/GHOST (protagonist of Hollow Knight) SEALS THE DEAL!

(Gameplay)

After the gameplay trailer, the Knight readies itself for a battle. Instead, Samus removes her helmet to get a closer look at their assailant, and quite simply picks the Knight up. It struggles a bit as Samus can be heard gushing about how cute it is, with Simon telling her to not let her guard down. (Fade to black)

Spoiler

We open up to a monastery, where a fight is happening. We then cut to F!Corrin in that fight in a forest, just barely dodging what looks like a whip. The strange object forms back together, revealing itself to be a sword. The man holding it eventually shows his face.

Byleth Begins the Lesson! (Gameplay with a remix of Fódlan Winds)

As F!Corrin is defeated, Byleth makes his way back to the monastery and nearly sheaths his Sword of the Creator. Suddenly, bushes rattle and Byleth draws the sword back out. The mysterious being draws out of the bushes, and it's...a goose?

Untitled Goose Splash Art! (Yes, all this is happening in the TH CG artstyle, with Fódlan Winds still playing with even more gameplay)

The goose knocks Byleth down and steals the Sword of the Creator, and Byleth gives chase with an axe.
