Hey everyone,

The first time I played Fire Emblem was on an emulator about 7 or 8 years ago? I played FE7 because it was included in a ROM pack I had and I vaguely remembered Marth and Roy from Smash 64 and figured I would try it, not even knowing what type of game it was. Well I ended up staying up till 3 or 4 am playing it and was immidiately intrigued. Fast forward to now and I own all the 3ds games and plan to buy the Switch title day 1.

Despite my love for the games, I never finished any. This is mostly due to my own issues with finishing games. I have a pretty large steam library and have finished only a fraction of games that I own. I aim to fix this, starting with the FE series. I am currently playing through Awakening while at work, and Path of Radiance while at home. I have dabbled in pretty much every game, or at the least the first game of each series within the series.

Currently my favorite in terms of gameplay is Fates, since I am loving the refined pair up and support system and new classes. I really enjoy the strategy when deciding between pairing up or just standing beside your team members for different offensive or defensive bonuses. As far as story, I have to go with Path of Radiance so far. The support conversations have been great and the writing and pacing of the story is really good so far IMO (on Chapter 15 or 16 I think) but I feel like FE4 has the chance to take the throne for best story once I actually play it.

Anyways I don't want to ramble too much in this post. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. You might see me asking questions or partaking in some discussion threads as I get more and more familiar with the games. Thanks to whoever runs and maintains this site, because I have used it as a resource for a couple weeks now and don't see a reason to use any other site!

Merry Christmas!
