So IS was working on this back in late summer while Adrift was being worked on at the start of summer. By the time our feedback got to them on Adrift and legend Azura and all, it was too late to turn back. The problem is they might think it's an issue with Fates characters and not just being too many alts for units who already have plenty. The dislike bar shows a vocal reaction, but money doesn't lie about whether people are willing to spend money on Orbs for these banners and encourage more of this crap. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if a significant portion of the people disliking the video are still going to buy orbs for this banner anyway. I'm looking forward to seeing Camilla's art, and I'm excited to have another free colorless dagger flier. The skills are kind of meh for me, but the weapons are at least all pretty interesting. I know a lot of people have issues with this banner, but I genuinely have difficulty caring. I like every FE game, and I can count the characters I genuinely dislike on one hand. Even Camilla I don't mind much, and as much as I'd love new characters getting alts, I understand IS's logic on the manner. I don't mind focusing on AwakaFates (though it is largely slanted towards Fates) because it is the most recent and largely popular game. I just want a little more variety here and there. I’m sure you’ve noticed the like and dislike ratio on the Adrift banner and the new Hotsprings banner trailers. As a community, it’s not that we dislike Fates. It’s just you’re mainly doing Fates and not much else. Please give more equal representation of your games. Give us a Geneology/Thracia seasonal, a Valentian/Gaiden Seasonal, a Radiance Seasonal, and a Shadow Dragon seasonal before giving us another Fates or Awakening seasonal. Furthermore, there are those upset about the units chosen in some banners. If you do another Fates banner, please pick some beloved characters besides the royals. They’ve had enough seasonals. The retainers such as Oboro, Peri, and Subaki and nonretainers like Scarlet, Benny, Rinkah, Hayato, and Izana are yet to get seasonals. Some aren’t even in the game yet. If you could, just put the Fates royals on a blacklist for future seasonal banners and make more seasonals for other games I always figured whatever English branch exists reads feedback. I figure if they get a notable amount of requests for the same thing that they translate it and send it to the Japanese branch. About my job, our forms do include a grading scale, so we can still interpret most of the feedback, but the written stuff gets ignored. It's mainly because companies are trying to squeeze the most profit they can and avoid paying for someone to read something. It sucks, especially since there are people like me who can also read Spanish but can't due to our position and how it affects the privacy of our customers. For IS, I can totally see them not wanting to pay someone to read those reports. They're probably told to prioritize bug reports than unit/gameplay reports. Othin's report was very well written, but it probably won't make much of an impact due to the sheer amount of reports the person at IS will have to read tomorrow regarding this topic. I'm all for writing reports, but if you really want them to reconsider their actions, you gotta hit them where it hurts- their wallets. The best feedback a business gets is sales.
