He was once a subordinate of Jeralt when he was leader of the knights, and thus respects him greatly. He recommended the protagonist as a teacher after they saved students from bandits, something he rarely does. He is a cheerful and amiable person. He likes telling jokes, but they're not that funny. Gameplay wise he's almost certainly some kind of General; specialising in Axes and Fighting; going off of his faculty tutoring options. Posted June 24, 2019 Share Posted June 24, 2019 I have a feeling due to the kind of character they're portraying Alois as he might defect against the Church in the routes where you fight against them; Catherine seems loyal to Rhea above all else but Alois only seems to harbour that level of admiration towards Jeralt. This is actually why he left the knights in the first place — he had too many self-professing fanboys and fangirls. Then it was all fine as a mercenary until Leonie started doing the same thing. He respects Archbishop Rhea's judgment of the protagonist, who was invited to the Officer's Academy as an exception, though he doesn't let his guard down around them either.
