This was copied inspired by a fellow poster, but for those people writing stories involving non-FE material, what have you got lined up, what are you currently writing involving (semi-)alternate universes or what would be your favorite? I think anything involving FE should be in the other thread.

Pokemon Gen 1-4

I've been on and off in regards to my History of Shoyo project, which is essentially the Pokeverse that is somewhat closer to our world in history and geopolitics. For the past several years, I've been expanding the country of Shoyo (which consists of the four main regions of the first four generations) and am even thinking about writing a short textbook history for travellers.

What I know I will do:

While I haven't yet looked closely at the canon history of the Pokemon universe, I can definitely say that there will be some major differences from the the existing canon details. From the beginning of Shoyo's history to the Sengoku era would be more or less like Japan's, with some exceptions - such as incorporating elements of Pokemon Conquest for the Sengoku era. The divergence would probably begin from the Edo period equivalent, with some minor differences - such as technological progress being developed somewhat quicker. There would be some major differences from the Meiji era onwards - such as Shoyo-Meiji starting from the early 19th Century (as opposed to real-life-Meiji being from mid-late 19th Century), democracy and social justice being stronger/more mature in Shoyo's early 20th Century, and a much happier outlook of Shoyo's present (AD 2010) and future, to be more in line with the idealistic world of Pokemon. Some people may cry out historical revisionism, but given it's clearly not our real world (though still very close to), I think that should not be a problem.

On a different note, there are also previously unexplored regions from the Japanese archipelago. They are:

  • Tohoku between Kanto and Sinnoh/Hokkaido
  • Hokuriku and Shinetsu, being north of Kanto and Johto/Chubu-Kansai, and
  • Chugoku (or San'in and Sanyo) and Shikoku between Johto/Kansai and Hoenn/Kyushu

Spoiler

Tohoku (North east Shoyo)

  • Datezakai/Harlequin Ranges: The ranges running along north-south, dividing Wakakusa City on the east and Hanakasa City on the west. Initially known as other names, the former vernacular name stuck from the middle of the Edo period, commemorating Date Masamune’s rule and development of the Wakakusa domain. (The real Masamune also developed the area around present-day Southern Iwate, Sendai and Fukushima areas, coinciding with the Pokeverse equivalent areas.) Generally based on the Zao Mountains, famous for its hot springs.
  • Ebisuji/Hinterway City: A coastal port town in northern Tohoku region. In the Early Middle Ages, it was one of the last frontiers between the expanding Shoyo nation and the untamed northerners (called Ebisu/Emishi). Thus a fort was built as the government’s occupying base for the region. Later, it became the port for traders between Johto and Sinnoh. Nearby fields also boasts the best rice brands Shoyo can get, known as the Ebisuji-Komachi. In the modern era, oil wells, and oil refineries were built, and the area was responsible for supplying the majority of Shoyo’s oil. The city is based on Akita City in the namesake prefecture.
  • Hanakasa/Floratop City: An inland town close to the Himenoyu Mountains, which many travellers pass on their way. Based on Yamagata City in its namesake prefecture. Hanakasa is a traditional bamboo hat adorned of paper flowers, which dancers wear them for the hanakasa-matsuri, a festival in the Yamagata region.
  • Hedachi/Stablemeadow Settlements: A series of ten settlements on the northern end of Tohoku which was renowned for its fastest Ponytas and Rapidashes. Out of this, Futaedachi/Dueble (based on Ninohe City, Iwate Pref) and Yatsuedachi/Octable (based on Hachinohe City, Aomori Pref) growing to be cities in their own right. The latter grew into the Tohoku region’s northernmost fishing port along the Pacific Ocean coast, and eventually into an industrial area. In those two cities, most of the horsebreeding activities have moved to the other settlements. On the other hand, the most famed horse-breeding stables are located in Nanedachi/Settable (based on Sichinohe Town, Aomori Pref). Hedachi in Japanese refered to the ancient “horse farmland”, which lended name to both the Pokeverse-Shoyoese, and real-life Japanese towns and cities.
  • Igune/Windbreak City: The northern part has taken on as a dormitory suburb of Wakakusa/Harlequin City, and the south part has been a traditional trading town. The middle remains a largely untouched series of farmlands accented by houses surrounded by trees. Igune (居久根) is a term used in the farming areas near Sendai refering to the series of windbreak trees. Based on Natori and Iwanuma Cities
  • Kunibate/Landsend City: Another coastal town on the top of the Shoyo’s main island. Before the eventual expansion into Sinnoh, this was the end of the Shoyoese frontier, lending to the name kunibate, or “the country’s end”. The city grew as a trade port since the Edo period, and became the transport hub for travellers and goods between Sinnoh and the rest of the country. In recent years, however, things has not been the same, with bigger international ships needing deeper ports, and with much of freight being shifted to rail with the opening of the Almia Tunnel.
  • Miyakoji City: A former castle town and a trading town with Johto and Sinnoh. This is in reference to Sakata City, Yamagata Pref, as the real-life city also prospered as a trading post with the Kansai region during the Edo period. Miyakoji (都路) means "the way to the capital".
  • Namahage/Kramps Peninsula: A peninsula with dormant volcanoes that echoes ancient folktales of Granbulls warding off bad spirits and punishing evildoers in nearby towns during wintertime. Based on the Oga Peninsula where the namahage ogres would come around households and scold naughty children during the Lunar New Year. The Central European mythical being Kramps also had a similar role during Christmas time.
  • Okuiri/Hintermost City: One of the final frontiers of the Shoyoese mainland, the city eventually became the castle town for the Kunibate Domain. Besides Wakakusa, it would be the first Tohoku towns to have a westernised district, and a modern military base would be built there to counteract Kievanian [Russian] aggression into the Far East. Another fun fact: It was one of the first regions in Shoyo to grow apples. Based on Hirosaki City of Aomori Prefecture.
  • Okuiri/Hintermost Forest: The northernmost untouched forest and nature reserve in the Shoyoese mainland, where past hunters spoke of secret rituals and languages. The forest is based on the World-Heritage-listed Shirakami Highlands and Forest. Okuiri (奥入) means “into the very back”.
  • Saotome/St Thomas City: Saotome is the southernmost port within the Tohoku fishing coast. During the Sengoku era, pro-Catholic daimyo Date Masamune designated the port for international trade with the Iberian Asteco colony [Spanish Mexico]. Until the seclusion policy by the Tokugawa Shogunate, Iberians and Astecans came and go, and together came exotic goods and buildings, including a Catholic church within view from the inland rice paddies. Saotome is a traditional word refers to a woman working in the rice fields, but is also a corruption from the Portugese Sao Tome, or Saint Tomas.

  • Sugikoshi/Passover City and Sugikoshi Forest: A quiet town of past abandoned mines and lumber yards. The mage-wappa timber crafts from the nearby Sugikoshi Forests are one of the best in the nation. The name Sugikoshi is a play of words: sugi can both mean cedar tree () and can also mean to pass (過ぎる). Sugikoshi is the Japanese term used for the Passover. There is an old travel log features the following passage that became the name of the town: Pass over the forest, and no sooner shall we reach the land’s end. • Tsuyukusa/Deepsky City: A modern city of pristine waterway, with a hydroelectric dam on the mountain. Inspired from Koriyama City, Fukushima Pref, where one of the first hydroelectric dam was built, and the city grew with the manipulation of water. Both Tsuyukusa and deep sky blue are variations of a light blue colour.
  • Wakakusa/Harlequin City: A city of green and youthful spirits, known for its lively music scene and its academia. Reference to Sendai City, Miyagi Pref, also known for its reputation as a city full of tree-lined boulevards, it's music and academic scene. Wakakusa and harlequin are both similarly-coloured green. While the Saotome saw itself as a beacon of transport and cultural exchange, Watatsumi would specialise itself into a fishing hub that sees many vessels come and go. Outside of the big metropolises, Watatsumi boasts the biggest fishing market in the Tohoku region, and many marine biologists also do their research here. The town is based on Kesen’numa in Miyagi Prefecture. Watatsumi is the Shintoist god of the seas, but is also a common noun referring to its non-Japanese equivalents such as the Greek Poseidon.

  • Akagane/Aubronze City, located between Hanada and Nivi [Pewter]. An old abandoned mining town which is really toxic. This may be where Grimer and Muk were sighted. This is based on the Ashio Copper Mine, which was notorious for its earliest case of environmental disaster in Japan's history. Akagane(赤金・銅) is another word for bronze/copper in Japanese, and Aubronze is a combination of Auburn (a reddish-brownish colour) and Bronze.
  • Awafuji/Periwinkle City, located northwest of Hanada, and north of Shion [Lavender], which is located where the power plant is, and incorporates it as part of the city. • Kihiwa/Charteuse City: For a long time, the series of towns featured endless rice fields and a famous hilltop Buddhist temple to serve the pilgrims from Yamabuki/Saffron. While the town is gradually encroached by suburban development, the settlement still retains its old rural charm. However, a second international airport serving shorter low-cost flights and commuter planes was built recently, signalling further changes ahead. Based on Narita City, but with a much different development of the metropolitan region’s second international airport. Kihiwa is a combination of Ki-iro (黄色) and hiwa-iro (鶸色), creating a yellow-green colour leaning towards yellow. Charteuse is a similar European colour, and both refers to the long-lasting goldern rice fields, and the green forested mountains.

The current Pokemon League (established as part of the national sports program and as part of post-WWII Shoyo’s fortified democracy program for citizens) initially had their headquarters in Yamabuki [Saffron] City, but improvements in transportation and communications, and a government effort to decentralise resulted in the League relocating to Sekiei Plateau in the 1980s. The town is based on Karuizawa, Nagano Pref.
  • Shinonome/Eastrise City, located near Akagane City, is the home of the villa and ancestral shrine of the Tokugawa family and shogunate. Shinonome(東雲) means east skies/clouds, and is a light pink colour, reminiscent of the dawn sky.
  • Sohi/Sienna City: A satellite city of Kuchiba/Vermillion, and a gateway to the eastern Kanto peninsula, it was initially found by the Taira Clan during the Early Middle ages. From the late Meiji era, Sohi/Sienna took some of the overspill of the cargo at Kuchiba and eventually developed its own industrial base. The city is also the home of Yamabuki Disneyland, both popular with Shoyoese citizens and Columbian visitors. Mainly based on Chiba City of the namesake prefecture, but there are also references from Urayasu (Tokyo Disneyland) and Funabashi Cities. Hokuriku and Shinetsu (Central North)

  • Amagusa/Liquorice City: Another castle town along the Sea of Shoyo, which was famous for its high-quality traditionally medicine. Similar developments were made in the real-life Toyama City of its namesake prefecture. While the city still has its medicine roots through several research institutes, a pharmaceutical university, and several pharmaceutical factories (including one from Silph) the city is also becoming known as an experimental eco-city of sustainability. Amagusa is the Japanese reading for Kanzo (甘草), a type of traditional plant widely used in Kampo medicine in Japan. The European variant is used to create liquorice. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glycyrrhiza)
  • Ebikazu/Gloryvine City: One of the former international port cities from the days of steam, in which Steamships from Korea and Russia would visit the city. Refers to Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture. Ebikazu is type of native wild grape in Japan; the wine-red colour Ebi-iro is based on this fruit species. The species was known since the ancient days, but it only gained attention as an edible species from the western introduction of winemaking during the Meiji era. Crimson Glory Vine is the English name.
  • Enfuku/Elmteak City: Also known as Ecruteak's little sister, similar to how Kanazawa is revered as "Little Kyoto". The Japanese etymology is En (; relationships) + Fuku (; blessing - similar to Ju 寿). For English, I replaced Ecru of Ecruteak with the same-initial Elm.
  • Miru/Greenfleece Town: A small but bustling harbour famous for its fisheries. It was once one of the relay harbours for freight boats travelling between southern and northern Shoyo. Nowadays, many people from across the nation travel here to try the latest delicacies of water-type Pokemon. The town is based on Wajima, Toyama. Miru (海松) is a type of seaweed and is also the Japanese name for the olive green colour. The English name for the miru seaweed is Green fleece. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codium_fragile)
  • Renge/Lotzalea City: The city is located in the valleys of one of the highways between Yamabuki/Saffron and Enju/Ecruteak, with another highway extendings towards Amagusa and the coastal towns along the Sea of Shoyo. As such, the town grew as a trading post from the Muromachi to the Edo period, which its former character can still be seen today. Nowadays, people visit the town for its old district’s charm and also for outdoor activities in the nearby highland Safari Zone. The city is based on Shiojiri City in Nagano Prefecture. Renge is short for renge tsutsuji, a type of azalea grown in and around Nagano Prefecture. It is also the Japanese name for lotus. Lotzalea is the contraction of lotus and azalea, which in turn is a translation of the aforementioned renge tsutsuji.
  • Shinanoki/Tilia City: Home to one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the nation, the surrounding town along the hills and the valleys grew with it. Such was its prestige that many who went to pray at Juko Shrine made a detour to Zenkoji on their way back. The city is based on Nagano City of the namesake prefecture. In fact, shinanoki, or tilia is a type of lime tree that grew around the highland regions of Nagano.

  • Yanasagi/Willowvine City: A city in the mid-north part of Honshu’s western coast that rose from the marshes. The canals built during the Edo period and the willow trees planted gives a particularly picturesque character to the castle city. Yanasagi is the combination and contraction of Yanagi (willow) and Asagi (JP name for Olivine City). The English name Willowvine is similarly the combination and contraction of willow and Olivine (City).

Johto (Central Shoyo – west side)

  • Aigusa/Greenfields Town: A homage to Pokemon Movie 3, this is where Columbian (Poke-USA) researcher Spencer Sully Hale-Snowden and his research facility is located, which is affiliated with the Arcaeology Deartment of the University of Enju [Univ of Kyoto]. Unlike the other cities, there isnt any references to the real-life region, though the Kansai Science City may be one inspiration. Ai is a plant species that is nicknamed as Japanese indigo, which is used for blue pigment. Gusa/kusa is grass. The Japanese name refers to the original town name used in the movie (Greenfields).
  • Hinokimori/Cypress Ranges: The mountainous forests are renowned for their high quality timber, which has been used for repairing and rebuilding the Juko Shrine every twenty years. Several small towns along the old highways form the traditional forestry. Based on the Kiso ranges areas in northern Aichi/southern Nagano Prefectures. Hinoki is Japanese cypress, which can be found at the real-life counterpart of the Kiso Ranges, and was was similarly cut down and sent for rebuilding Ise Shrine.
  • Juko City and Juko Shrine: Located west of Hiwada [Azalea] Town it is another traditional city, which guards the shrine that Amaterasu and other Shinto gods supposedly dwelt in. Juko(珠剛) is a combination of two Japanese words, Shinju(真珠; pearl) and Kongo(金剛; diamond), referring to DPPt and especially Dialga and Palkia, who in turn are based on the Shinto deities Izanami and Izanagi. The city and shrine is based on Ise Shrine.
  • Oimatsu/Oldpine City:. The mountaintop village from the ancient days, where time seems of no relevance. The shrine speaks of legendary stories of Johto from such past. Based on Tanba and Sasayama Cities, Hyogo Pref. The English dubbed name is the transliteration of the Japanese name.
  • Oribe/Glazemerald City: Traditionally a town renowned for its baked pottery ware, it also hosted Yoshino’s/Cherrygrove’s air base and international airport until its relocation to near Yaesa/Octerry in recent years. Oribe is from the Furuta Oribe, who was the tea ceremony master and daimyo during the Sengoku Period who influenced the type of pottery ware. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furuta_Oribe) His name is also adopted for the green-copper colour widely seen in the Oribe ware. Blancastel is formed from blanc (French for white) and castel (French for castle).
Sensai Ranges: Reference to Rokko Mountains just north of Kobe. Senzai (千歳) or its alternate reading chitose is literally a thousand years, and the color name, Senzai-midori is a type of yellow-green describing the once prevalent evergreen forest of both the Pokeverse mountains and the real-life Mt Rokko. The naming is actually more ironic in the present day, as the existing forest is only a century old, resulting from development-induced deforestations during the Meiji era.
  • Ubame/Ilex City: Located on the northern edge of Ubame/Ilex Forest, it was formerly a sleepy harbour town until Goldenrod's suburbanization took place. It has since then became a dormitory suburb, a mini-resort town, and a transport hub for ferries heading to Tamba [Cianwood], and international flights to Kogane. The city is based both Wakayama City and Kansai International Airport.
  • Ukon/Turmeric City: The Garden City featuring the Nature Park. Traditionally a castle town during the Edo period, the modern era saw the city take on an industrial character producing silk. The 20th Century saw the development of the chemical industry, and also the Toyota Motor Group the world knows and loves today. Yaesa is from yaezakura (八重桜), which is yet another species of cherry blossom. Octerry is a combination of octo- & cherry, referring to the eight-fold petals of said cherry blossom. The city is based mainly on Toyota City, with additional references from Yokkaichi City, both being part of Greater Nagoya.
  • Yamasa/ Hillcherry City: An old harbour town west of Yoshino/Cherrygrove City, where many beach-type Pokemon can be found. This is in reference to Kuwana City (located just west of Nagoya) being a traditional fisherman/port town during the Edo period. In recent decades the town has taken on an increasingly suburban character for upper/middle-class homeowners. Yamasa is from yamazakura (山桜), which is a different type of cherry blossom, known as hill cherry in English.

Mura () is village.
  • Iwatari/Masonbridge City: A simple and sturdy city of industry built in stone. Inspired from Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Pref, as the real-life city was also traditionally considered to be simple during the Edo period, and became a city of industry after the Meiji period. The city's name is Iwa (; rock) + Watari (渡り; to cross), refering to the stone piers of Kintai Bridge in the real-life city.

The English dub name is a combination and contraction of emerald and plain.
  • Hanareda City: A seemingly isolated coastal castle town, which preserves the townscapes from the days of the Tokugawa Shogun. It had its glory days during the Bakumatsu period, both showcasing its modernised technology and its daimyos (with the Okuribi (Pyrebay) Domain from Hoenn) starting the Boshin War and eventually establishing the Meiji Restoration. Hanareda is hanareta (isolated) and ta/da (rice paddy), referring to real-life Hagi City’s isolated location, and also real-life Nagato City’s rice paddy along the coast, the only kind in Japan.
  • Jinshu/Deltarm City: Basically a fortified army city for the Shoyoese Defense Force. In this history, Jinshu did not suffer the nuclear attack that real-life Hiroshima did, although it suffered extensive bombardment and urban warfare from the Shoyoese Republicans rebels. This is what Hiroshima's role would have continued as, if the nuclear attack did not happen. (I will send you my alternate history of WWII later.) Jin () is battle formation, and shu () is an area of many branching rivers, such as a delta. Deltarm is a contraction of Delta and Arm. [Inserts jokes about peace-loving Hiroshima vs glory-seeking Jinshu.]
  • Mt Katsubara/Ashfield: A highland resort town and farmland near one of the mountains on the Kurogane Ranges. Reference to Maniwa City and the resort area near Mt Hiruzen in Okayama Pref. Katsu-iro is a very dark black colour referring to the once active volcanos ashes, which can still be seen. • Majimina/Crossport City: Located on the Shikoku side. It is north of, and is accessible via the Kanmon Bridge, Kanmon Tunnel, and Shin-Kanmon Tunnel to/from, Kanazumi [Rustboro] City. Another port city that is more multicultural, with visiting travellers from Korai (Korea) and Tsinguo (China). It is also the home for the Battle Facility, accessible for trainers that obtained all gym badges in any region in Korai, Tsinguo, or Shoyo. (The Battle Resort of ORAS does not exist in this Pokeverse version.) The Treaty of Majimina was held in circa 1895 after the 1st Tsinguo-Shoyoese War (which is the equivalent to the 1st Sino-Japanese War). Majimina is a combination of majiwaru(交わる; cross paths, interact) and minato (; port). The city is based on Shimonoseki.
  • Mimorijima/Mariner City: It was initially an isolated island said to house a goddess watching the ships go by. After the Meiji Era, the Imperial Shoyoese Navy established one of its main bases, along with the Army’s main base in nearby Jinshu (Deltarm) City. This continues to the present day – although by the much less aggressive Shoyoese Defence Force (though slightly less hesitant in engaging in peacekeeping operations than the real-life JSDF). Surrounding beaches are also popular with the family members of the navy officers. Based on the Etajima Island and Marine Self-Defence Force Base in Hiroshima Prefecture.
  • Mitsushima/Trisle City: An industrial city of islands and canals, dubbed as the Shoyoese Alto Mare [Japanese Venice]. Reference to Kurashiki City, Okayama Pref, which also similarly developed from reclaiming land in the original three islands forming the present-day city. Mitsu is three, and shima is island, while Trile is tri (Latin for three) and ile (French for island).
  • Momozono/Peachcourt City: The second-biggest city in the Shikoku region, after Jinshu/Deltarm [Hiroshima]. Reference to Okayama City in the namesake prefecture. Momo is a reference to the folk tale Momotaro, which originated from Okayama, while sono is garden, refering to Korakuen in the real-life city, considered to be one of the most beautiful gardens of Japan. The folktale is actually a reference to one of the ancient warriors and his Pokemon which defeated the Kami trio, whose squabbles devastated the land.
  • Shiratorigishi/Swanarbor City: A small town of swan hunting grounds. This is in reference to Tottori City's etymology where a bird-hunting clan lived in ancient times, before the Yamato Government extended its influence to Shikoku region. According to Nihon Shoki, one of the emperors saw a swan fly off in the real-life region, and the Emperor's son, who was previously mute, could speak since then.
  • Takamadera/Skyshrine City: An ancient city said to host the first Shoyoese shrine. Reference to Izumo Taisha in Tottori Prefecture, as one of the places settled by the Shintoist deities in Kojiki (the real-life version) and Nihon Shoki, leading to the creation of the Izumo Taisha shrine. Takama is the Shintoist heavenly realm, while dera/tera is temple.

Hoenn (Southwest Shoyo)
A word of caution: I've made some pretty major changes with Hoenn. Firstly, Evergrande City from RSE/ORAS has been expanded into the Evergrande Islands. Two cities would be incorporated, with one of them being the Pokémon League headquarters of course. In addition, Kinagi [Pacifidlog] City has been reinterpreted as a resort city within the Evergrande Islands instead of being part of Hoenn. Finally, Kanazumi (Rustboro) City has a connection with the Poke-Chugoku via Majimina, which said city will become this fanfic's location for the Battle Frontier. As such the Battle Resort from ORAS will not exist in this headcanon.

  • Kanazumi/Rustboro City: The other port town flanking the Kanmon Strait, it was traditionally the gateway to Hoenn. After Shoyo began her country’s modernization in the 19th Century, the city boasted many fine European-style buildings, and even saw the first steelworks in the nation. Both Kanazumi and Majimina would grow multicultural with Shoyo’s colonial expansion to Korai and Tsinguo. The Kanmon Bridge and Tunnels built during the 20th Century would further integrate the two cities into one regional metropolis.
  • Konahono/Sulfield City: Located between Himawaki [Fortree] and the aforementioned Sacho, Konahono was traditionally known for its gunpowder production, and is now known for its chemical industry. Kona is powder, ho is short for honou or fire, and no is field. Sulfield is a contraction of "Sulfur" and "field". Based on Nobeoka's modern role as a chemical production town.
  • Okuribi/Pyrebay Town: A former port town until Mt Pyre has grown too big. Nowadays, it is a quaint southernmost castle town, with the modern role of trade and industry being relegated to Minamo [Lilycove]. Okuribi Town is a snapshot of Kagoshima until the Meiji-era, while Minamo is the same city that further developed after, similar to the relationship between Kyoto and Osaka/Kobe.
  • Sacho/Sandtide City: A relatively new town that focuses on silicon-related development, located south of Hatsushige [Fallharbour]. It is a nod to Kyushu's status as the "Silicon Island" where some of the research and manufacturing facilities for electronics are located in Oita City. Sacho (砂潮) is Sandtide in Japanese.

Hoenn Region

Spoiler

LLq5sQK.jpg

Xenoblade 1. I started coming up with stuff way too early and as a result...plot stuffs happened that would make what I came up with non canon. Forced it into an AU. Note that I still have yet to beat it but I'm very close.

The meat of the AU

Spoiler

Gadolt deserved better. I was rooting for him the whole time, first I assumed he was a PoW, then the Jade Face stuff happened. Now, he was rescued and unmechonized by Linada, his missing organs regrown and replaced. He has visible scars on his belly from when Egil gutted him, a constant reminder of how he stared death in the face and lived. He did not lose one of his eyes in this AU. His and Sharla's first child was the first birth in the rebuilt Colony 6.

Reyn still had his crush on Sharla because I admit they have sparks and it's hilarious. Reyn gets an OC instead, a tough female soldier who can give the boys a run for their money. Every playable I have created OC kids for with the exception of Riki who had some already...as well as some non playables.

The split in realities so to speak comes after the first Egil battle, still unsure how to handle Zanza and the entia/telethia thing, as well as Dickson's betrayal. Fiora is unmechonized by Meyneth as she leaves her.

OC kids(because I'm proud of them dammit)

Spoiler

Shulk + Fiora = Rickson, Violet
Twins! Rickson is the first born, and yes he's kinda named after Dickson...him and I decided Dunban and Fiora's dad was named Richard. Violet is named that because her eyes are a grayish blue, like the flower of the same name. They're mostly good kids but can be tag teaming scamps at times, especially as toddlers. They got subtle side effects from the tiny traces of mecha energy still in Fiora's system: Rickson is more resistant to electricity than normal, won't even feel a static shock, but can still be hurt by high voltage of course. Violet has a kind of intuition/insight that appears to be a very weak version of Shulk's visions, but it's not, if that makes sense. She can usually sense danger/monsters before anyone else.

Reyn + Gamma = Ray
See the clever name play there? Ray's full name is Raymond. He's like a mini Reyn but of course, he has some of his mother in him too. He is seven months older than the twins. Gamma is stubborn and fierce, which ends up being her downfall...she's five months pregnant with the second child, insists on going along on a routine patrol, and a volff with rabies kills her. Ray is fifteen at the time. He misses his mom for sure, but he's always been more of a daddy's boy.

Dunban + Alexa = Diana, Darius
Alexa was a chef for the defense forces, and let's just say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. She had a quick fling with Dunban before he lost the use of his arm, but they kinda went their separate ways for awhile before getting their romance rekindled. Their daughter and son are fourteen years apart, Darius is an adorable little midlife crisis according to Fiora. Diana takes up swordplay, and Darius ends up helping his mom in the kitchen, getting scolded regularly for eating pizza toppings and other ingredients in the process. It's a reverse of the big brother swordsman and little sister healer trope in FE only with a chef. He can and will do some damage with a chef's knife if he feels he has to though.

Gadolt + Sharla = Joan, Scipio
Both of these have strong warrior inspired names. Joan of Arc is the obvious namesake. Scipio was the Roman general who killed Hannibal. Joan is older by three years, both take after their parents and use rifles, Scip also dabbles in field medic stuff. That's his preferred nickname. Sharla calls him Skippy and he absolutely hates it. Tiny traces of remaining mecha energy in sperm would be easily filtered out by Sharla's system, so there are no side effects here.

Rathnik + Melia = Lucian
The empress had to pick someone to produce an heir with of course. Rathnik's name comes from the book series Guardians of Gahoole which is about owls. Owls, birds, bird people. Yeah. He was one of four suitors, and Melia wasn't in love with him right off the bat, only to bond properly later as they raised their son. And the son is a royal scamp. He thinks he's a ladies' man to the point that Melia tells him to stop acting like a testosterone filled homs quite a few times. Rathnik's that Kermit drinking tea meme. "My wife yelled at our son for acting like a homs but he's 25% homs. But that's none of my business." Fits. The guy is addicted to tea. He loves the stuff.

Mumkhar + Haylea = Farran
I know you're going wtf here. Farran was from a one night stand before the canon story even started. Haylea was down on her luck, and had to be a "pleasure woman" for the military. She stopped that after Mumkhar impregnated her, and knowing the kid needed a better life than she could provide, she gave him up for adoption along with a note saying he was welcome to find her later to ask about where he came from. Mumkhar never even knew he had a son. He was never told, but do you blame Haylea? She could tell he wouldn't give two shits. Farran was adopted by a woodcutter/construction worker in Colony 6 and he turned out decent.

Eiz + Linada = Xeldon
Remember this guy? I figured the village doctor could patch up his broken soul. And...that's pretty much it. Xeldon does get to meet the grandchildren of Linada's homs friends and play a little for a day. But of course he's still gonna be in his child form for a long time, by the time he's in his adult form...yeah, the homs buddies will be long dead.

PM me if you want to say anything on this.

My Zelda OoT/MM fanfic initially wasn't an AU at all, really, but since Skyward Sword exists, it probably could be considered one now. I had dabbled a bit in the origins of the Master Sword with my fic, and SS is about the sword's creation, so what I came up with contradicts things a bit. Yes, I wrote this story before SS existed. It's old now. XD

EDIT: If you want a more in depth explanation of the story though, here ya go.

Spoiler

Before the Master Sword and a single hero to wield it to eliminate any and all evil, before light was the only bane of evil and darkness would only threaten, there were a pair of warriors bound by a different power, bestowed by two goddesses other than the usual three (Din, Nayru, and Farore). They were Solaris, the goddess of the sun and light, and Lune, the goddess of the moon and darkness. When monsters possessing powers of light and darkness would invade the world and spread their evil, the two warriors, known as the Sky Guardians, would be summoned to fight against them, each wielding a sword blessed by the two goddesses. The Sun Sword, the Blade of Light, and the Moon Sword, the Blade of Darkness. Their wielders respectively are the Guardian of the Sun, the Hero or Heroine of Light, and the Guardian of the Moon, the Hero or Heroine of Darkness.

Not all light is good. Not all darkness is evil. In these days, light and darkness came together as one to fight and bind the real evil.

The return of these ancient weapons signaled the coming of the ancient powerful monsters of light and dark, whom strengthened to the point where not even the Master Sword was as effective against them. The Blades of Light and Darkness, however, would remain their greatest weakness due to the power they hold.

After returning to his original time and returning to Hyrule after the events of Majora's Mask, Link finds a new destiny as a hero in his homeland (since his deeds and title as the Hero of Time were essentially erased in this timeline) as the new Hero of Darkness. He is guided by the already-made Heroine of Light, a girl his age named Kelli. Together, they have to locate the Moon Sword and fight the powerful light and dark monsters of old to prevent them from threatening the world for the first time in centuries.

A sun and moon theme might be a little cliche and generic, but I like it. Besides, Link primarily wielding dark power is not something we really see. So this is still kinda unique, I'd say! Also, I always liked the idea of having a female hero fight alongside Link sometimes for a potential two player Zelda game in the vein of Mario titles, only with action/adventure gameplay instead of platforming.

A proposed part-fanfic/part-LP that I am thinking about, which features Persona 3 to Persona 5 as one long Persona story. So far, I've only sorted out Persona 4 Golden:

The Narukami-Dojima Family

Spoiler
  • General
    • Yu's mom Sayuri Narukami (nee Dojima) was a Persona user herself, and his father Yuji Narukami was an academic from Tokyo University who also knew relatives that were Persona users. Persona summoning runs in the family. Yu's parents were in fact busy working out the Mass Apathy Syndrome in Dancing All Night, and enlisted the Investigation Team's help; a move which Uncle Ryotaro aired his disapproval to his sister after the incident.
    • The Narukami family lives (both just before P4's story and after) is in a high-end 3-Bedroom apartment unit, in district called Jyuban-machi in Minato Ward. The closest station is Juban Station on the North-South and the Edo Loop Lines. (Basically Azabu-Juban Station on the Namboku and Oedo Lines.)
  • Yu himself
    • Yu is a kikoku-shijo, and his family lived in the US for several years in different locations. This is why he is so good at translation work. His high school in Tokyo (in his 10th and 12th Grades) is Yotsuya Metropolitan High. (This fictional high school is the Personaverse's stand-in for the real-life Hibiya Metropolitan High, which is actually located in Kojimachi, just south of Yotsuya.)
    • Yu may not had as bad a luck as others with his school life, but he had a nasty encounter with Suguru Kamoshida (a student back then) during what supposed to be a friendly sports competition between Shujin and Yotsuya Metropolitan. Yu saw Kamoshida yelling abuse at a boy who looked clearly distraught, and even threatened to punch him. Yu stepped in, covering the boy and restrained Kamoshida, only to be brutally beaten later in the day in retaliation. To make matters worse, Kamoshida neither got expelled or arrested, Yu was injured to the extent that he had to quit his sports club activities indefinitely, and was also nearly framed by Shujin (by Kamoshida and Principal Kobayakawa) for the altercation - were it not for Sayuri successfully gathering witnesses and a number of Yu's school teachers defending Yu. Yuji took a sabbatical to look after Yu, and Sayuri actually collected evidences and statements from him, Naoto (more on that later), and others to file charges against Suguru and Shujin years later. And Yu was one of the luckier ones - Naoto had it even worse than Yu; comparable even with Ann/Shiho as described below.
    • This negatively affected Yu and his family's emotional wellbeing, as he stopped trusting people. It was not just Kamoshida assaulting Yu, but also his clubmates and teachers back at Yotsuya ostracising him, his parents failing to give the emotional support Yu desparately needed, and the majority of the media and police in Tokyo either ignoring Yu's side of the story, or worse, vilifying the Narukami family. Sayuri could only keep Yu safe from false charges and could not make the charges against Kamoshida stick - in turn due to the Conspiracy making inroads into the police forces, the judicial courts, and the media.
  • Sayuri (Japanese VA: Kotono Mitsuishi / English VA: Not determined yet)
    • Present background
      • She is one of the senior bureaucrats for the National Police Agency and also one of the few decent people besides Sae working in Japan's law enforcement.
      • She was also one of the few people who listened to, and believed what Akira mentioned upon his arrest. As Masayoshi Shido was not yet Prime Minister, he feared being chased after her, yet he had corrupt judges as his friends that can shut Sayuri's (and Naoto's) investigations down. Despite the two's public protests, everyone else were pressured to follow Shido's narrative. All Sayuri could do was a diversion program for Akira as her way of buying time until she can get to the bottom of the case with Sae.
      • She was either aloof, cynical, or outright annoyed at dealing with other people, and she has few friends, in or out of her workplace. The majority of people at least fear, if not outright respect Sayuri for her expertise, experience, and wisdom, and her courage in calling out the more corrupt members of the police force as the senior internal auditor. However, the majority of people hate working with her due to her blunt and outspoken attitude, and especially her lack of regard for "saving face". Only a handful who understand and share Sayuri's struggles and principles trusted her - which includes Naoto (from P4), Mitsuru, Akihiko, Detective Kurosawa (all from P3), and Sae Nijima (from P5), and even then, they had some misgivings about her behaviour. Ultimately, however, they had a firm trust and respect for her, and many of them defended her from harrassments by the Conspiracy in Persona 5. It also helped that Sayuri had a high accuracy rate, and very fair attitude in cases which she took part in. She almost always hammered the maxim "Innocent until proven otherwise" onto everyone else's heads, and did not hesitate to order immediate release for those found not guilty. Sometimes, she even apologized to the public herself through press releases - which built her reputation as a "strict, but fair" inspector amongst the public.
      • To be fair, Ryotaro was little better in his interactions, and at least Sayuri had a hand in discouraging misogyny in the workplace - which Ryotaro acknowledged, and both Chie and Naoto greatly appreciated.
    • Persona 4
      • During the main story, Sayuri was working and researching with the FBI in Washington DC, and holds the Empress Arcana for this LP. (Margaret in this LP holds the World Arcana instead.)
      • While she was posted to the FBI due to her expertise and her experience in dealing with Americans, the other top officials found this as a convenient excuse to get rid of her for a while due to her causing a huge fuss over the police framing Yu in the Kamoshida incident. In exchange for them letting Yu go, Sayuri was to be posted to the US.
      • Nevertheless, Ryotaro asked Sayuri for advice and help in solving the serial murders.
      • Not only did Sayuri forced the Fukushima Police Department to retain Naoto on the case, but she made a few extra observations that allowed a breakthrough. She was skeptical about how Naoto (and Kanji) can go down pathetically easily against the kidnapper, and mentioned that the kidnapper/murderer must be professional at it, or at least received professional help. In addition, during the IT's meeting and discussion at Aiya's on 5 December, Sayuri provided more advice to Naoto over a long-distance call. She also pointed out how Yukiko and the other kidnapping victims were all involved with the police before going missing. She narrowed down the possible culprits to either Ryotaro or Tohru Adachi.
        • Sayuri somewhat easily ruled Ryotaro out due to several factors: Ryotaro acting cooperatively towards Naoto and Sayuri, his frantic chase in saving Nanako, and most importantly, Ryotaro alone asking Sayuri for help and actively getting her involvement and input in finding the real serial murderer when the rest of the force was busy keeping the higher ups off their backs. More damningly, Sayuri recalled Adachi as a diligent and enthusiastic officer during the latter's tenure in the Metropolitan Police Department and was dismayed to hear how Ryotaro and others struggled with Adachi's seemingly bumbling nature.
        • Around the same time Sayuri also started to talk about her struggles with her experiences of sexism at work back in Japan and her son's post-traumatic stress from Kamoshida's assault. While she had been getting along well with her commute back home with her carpooling colleagues,  this was the first time she found actual support and compassion outside of family and close friends. Sayuri found out that one such colleague, Mrs Mary Steinberg, who previously was stationed in Tokyo, had her son experience assaults from Kamoshida as well.
      • After the arrest of Adachi, Sayuri introduced herself to Naoto, thanking her for her contribution to Ryotaro, and encouraging the latter to further pursue detective work. It was also when Naoto asked Sayuri for a private conversation for the former's "long story", as she referred Kamoshida's assault as. Both were cheered on, and interviewed by, PBS and CNN (Naoto and Ryotaro by the CNN International crew in Yaso-Inaba, and Sayuri by the PBS Newshour crew in Washington DC) as the two people who helped solve the now-internationally publicised murder-and-kidnapping spree.
      • The publicity of the two contrasts with many tough questions fired at the National Police Agency, the Fukushima Prefectural Department, and the Inaba Police Department, in which all three attempted to cover up the attempted murders during August. The Agency ended up recalling Sayuri back to Tokyo for March 2012, left with no other option that did not involve further political suicide.
      • Come March 10-15, Sayuri returned to Tokyo, bidding farewell to her American colleagues, who she got along better. The first thing she did? Go straight to Inaba Police Department with her other auditors from the Agency. She thanked Ryotaro for solving the case and looking after Yu, but she also loudly rebuked the upper officials for not only screwing up the serial murder case, but also for ignoring Naoto's/Ryotaro's advice. The upper officials complained back to Sayuri for being a meddlesome old hag, which she retaliated by reporting them to the main prefectural headquarters, and applying pressure to at least force the officials into early retirement, if not outright fire them.
      • After her argument with the police officials, she visited Yukiko and Sakura at the inn, thanking the former for befriending Yu, and catching up with Sakura to relive old times.
    • Past background
      • She was an alumini of the private Yasogami High School, while Ryotaro Dojima went to a public one elsewhere in Inaba. She would go to study psychology firstly at Waseda University in Tokyo, and then in Columbia University in New York City.
      • Sayuri's friends from her old high school:
        • Sakura Amagi, Sayuri's classmate and Yukiko's mother
        • Naoto Shirogane IV, Sayuri's senior, one-time boyfriend (until her family forced them apart) and canon!Naoto's father
        • Zen'ichi Tatsumi, Sayuri's/Sakura's former classmate from middle school and Kanji's father
      • Sayuri's enemies from her old high school:
        • Kobayakawa, the school bully who Sayuri fought in a duel, and future principal of Shujin
      • Sayuri had a cynical outlook on people relations and especially those of family, which stemmed from her resentment towards her ultraconservative mother, and her constant questioning against the conformity in her high school community.
    • Affiliations:
      • Yu: Their relationships were tested during Persona 4, and both became emotionally distant to each other during mid-2011. Things started to change, however, when Yu befriended Yukiko (during the latter half of her Social Link), and when he protected her from the harrassing TV crew by holding up a magazine and showing who his mother was. Sayuri started to appreciate Yu and started to understand that her struggle in both at work and at home was not in vain. After Naoto intervened in December, Sayuri felt awful about not giving her son the emotional support the latter needed. They eventually made amends, and Sayuri regained her pride in her son's high moral integrity. Yu, on the other hand, started to understand his mother's struggles in both keeping him safe and navigating the hostile bureaucracy in her job, and regained newfound appreciation in her effort in improving society.
      • Ryotaro: The two resent each other as siblings which originates back from the proxy wars between their favourite parents. Sayuri resented Ryotaro for disrespecting and verbally abusing the former in spite of the former's intelligence and responsible attitude and the latter's lack thereof, and it did not help that their mother almost always took Ryotaro's side in an argument. Ryotaro on the other hand, did not appreciate how Sayuri was doted on by her father and Ryotaro himself was considered as an ignoramus who have no hope in life. In saying this, however, Sayuri acknowledged that Ryotaro had since become more responsible, and they can set aside their differences to keep Nanako and Yu safe. Ryotaro also appreciated Sayuri going out of her way to allow the former to properly investigate the truth in the cases, and both grew to respect and trust each other as fellow officers with integrity. They still don't like each others as siblings, however.
      • Nanako: While she has emotional baggage with Ryotaro, and Yu to a lesser extent, Sayuri is much more accepting of Nanako. Sayuri refuses to let her said emotional baggage cloud her judgements, consider Nanako as an individual, and appreciates her niece's honesty and interest in being a detective. Nanako, on the other hand, respects her aunt as a cool officer and an encouraging role model. By the time of P6 or P7, Nanako would go study Law at university to follow in her aunt's footsteps.
      • Naoto V: Their first meeting was for purely professional purposes, although Sayuri had high regard for Naoto's high level of observation. Naoto, on the other hand, was awestruck that she had a female role model that she would otherwise not know. Their relationship, however, was tested after when Naoto revealed herself as the other victim during the Kamoshida altercation of 2010. Naoto became sickened and infuriated by how Yu and Sayuri apparently swept the case under the rug, but Sayuri and Ryotaro explained how very little they were able to do against established politics in the bureaucracy. This resonated with how Naoto felt powerless in addressing the very justice she wanted to peruse, and also explained her burning question of how some individuals manage to get away with crimes they otherwise should not be able to. It can be noted that Naoto feels overwhelmed in Sayuri's over-assertive attitude over other people (she even called it "more American than Japanese"), while Sayuri sometimes struggles to understand Naoto's covert nature and her rather Japanese way (polite on the surface, but can be secretly rude) of talking to people. However, it cannot be denied that Naoto respects and looks up to Sayuri as her role model, and is thankful that Sayuri unhesitatingly guides Naoto through her struggles. As for Sayuri, it is likewise undeniable that she respects Naoto's high level of ethics, integrity, willingness to learn, and growing skill. Trust eventually grew into familial love, and by P5, Sayuri now considers Naoto as her daughter that she never had, while the latter now looks up to the former as her second mother she wished she had known earlier.
      • Yukiko: Sayuri and Yukiko only heard of each other from Sakura and Yu initially. Nevertheless, Sayuri was quite happy that Yu managed to find a friend so easily, while Yukiko was quite intrigued about Sayuri being a high-ranking officer overseas. They first met over Skype after October when Yu and Sayuri spilled the beans about their respective investigations. Sayuri noted how surprisingly similar Yu and Yukiko felt to her, while Yukiko noted Yu and Sayuri's assertive and non-conformist attitudes in life. Yukiko was a lot more sympathetic than others (and especially compared to Naoto) in regards to Sayuri's struggles after the 2010 Kamoshida assault, understanding and pointing out how generally conformist everything is in Japan, and how people covertly deal with their politics in life. Yukiko is thankful of how Sayuri influenced and inspired Yukiko's mother and Yu for the better, while Sayuri feels thankful that Yukiko befriended/romanced Yu in spite of the emotional difficulties. It also helped that Yukiko and Yu brought their respective mothers back together and revived the latter two's childhood friendship.
      • Sakura: Sakura had mixed feelings about Sayuri's rebellious attitudes. Sakura was thankful of Sayuri readily defending her and others from bullies - mainly chauvinistic boys, and she also took inspiration to take more control of her own life within the inn management. On the other hand, Sakura was also worried about the possibility of Sayuri's non-conformance being her own undoing socially.
      • Other allies: Investigation Team, Mariko Kusumi (indirectly), Shadow Operatives and Mitsuru Kirijo in particular, Kanamin Kitchen, The Phantom Thieves (secretly for most of P5), Detective Kurosawa, Sae Nijima, Toranosuke Yoshida (sometime after P5)
      • Enemies: Tohru Adachi (indirectly), Inaba Police Department's upper managements (in actuality), Public Safety Director (P5), Masayoshi Shido (P5), Goro Akechi (P5)

Naoto Shirogane

Spoiler
  • The Naoto that we know in the game is actually Naoto the 5th. Her father and grandfather, both being detectives, were also called Naoto.
  • Naoto Jr not only had bad luck with her adult colleagues at work, she also had bad luck at school. She previously went to Shujin Middle/High prior to moving to Inaba, a school she greatly hated and resented. This was due to several physical and indecent assaults involving Suguru Kamoshida (a student back then, and 3-5 years senior to Naoto) in the school's sports competition and her sports club - which foreshadows what was to come with Ann and Shiho years later. The rest of Naoto Jr's teachers were also being generally unsympathetic to her, and the police force dismissing Naoto's complaints against Suguru as outside of the police's problems. (He was the other factor in Naoto Jr dressing like a boy.)

In Persona 4 proper

  • The first person to take Naoto's emotional trauma seriously was Ryotaro, when Naoto mentioned the incident just before Nanako was kidnapped in early November. After the rescue as per the actual game, Naoto was not only distraught by Nanako's illness, but also the possibility that Ryotaro would lose his life as well - possibly depriving what Naoto thought as her only chance to get an sympathetic ear on her Kamoshida incident. This nearly resulted in the wrong decision on 3 December 2011, when Naoto wanted to push Taro Namatame into the TV for apparently manslaughtering Nanako. The other girls berated Naoto for her unprofessional behaviour which further emotionally broke Naoto, who ran out of the hospital crying.
  • Later that night, Naoto approached Yu, remarking that Yu looked like someone who Naoto have seen previously. Yu desparately tries to deny Naoto's claims, until Naoto told the whole story of how a boy from the opposing school at a sports match saved Naoto from being assaulted by Kamoshida. Yu, remembering everything, blacked out from the trauma. Naoto called Yukiko and Kanji for help, and eventually explained the horrific situation she was in on 5 December, which shook the other members. Amends were made after that.
  • After arresting the real serial murderer, Yu introduced Naoto to Sayuri, who was also privately investigating Kamoshida (for the afrementioned reasons). Naoto, in tears for the first time, explained everything to Sayuri on Christmas Day, which horrified the latter. Sayuri in turn comforted Naoto, by assuring her that neither Naoto nor Yu did anything wrong - the former made it clear that the entire blame rests on Kamoshida. The two agreed to meet for arranging witness statements as soon as Sayuri returns to Japan in mid-March 2012.

After Persona 4

  • When Naoto was supposed to return to Shujin in September 2012, Sayuri and Mitsuru Kirijo arranged Naoto to be enrolled in Gekkokan High (in Iwatodai Ward, AU!Yokohama City) instead. Thankfully, Naoto Jr enjoyed/loved/cherished her time there, thanks to new friends and good teachers, and she was able to move on with her life. It helped that Naoto and Mitsuru eventually lodged an accusation against Mr Ekoda and had him replaced with a teacher more respectful of students. Naoto was invited to the Student Council thereafter, where her detective skills were put to good use in resolving student grievances.
  • If there was a reason why Naoto had hidden feelings for Yu (though Yu himself romanced Yukiko) it was essentially due to Yu, Ryotaro, and Sayuri providing Naoto with an emotional and mental bailout. It also helped that Sayuri cracked down on anyone in the National Police Agency who dared acted obstructive and/or misogynistic against Naoto.
  • The opportunities for Naoto (and Yu/Sayuri) to stick the convictions onto Kamoshida only came after Shiho's attempted suicide after Kamoshida raped her in the early story chapters of Persona 5. After the Phanthom Thieves stole Kamoshida's corrupt heart, Sayuri received a tip-off that Kamoshida would like to confess, and she brought Naoto and Yu (and Yu's girlfriend from Persona 4) to confront and arrest Kamoshida once and for all. Naoto yelled at Kamoshida for assaulting her in the past, and Sayuri did the same thing for Yu's behalf. Sayuri also verbally squared off against, Principal Kobayakawa who she remembered as a bully from her old high school years in Yasogami High. Kobayakawa tried to obstruct the arrest, even attempting to assault Sayuri and Naoto (and Chie if Yu romanced her in Persona 4), but the two pinned the former down and arrested him as well for obstructing police. Meanwhile Yu broke down when he tried to speak, collapsing onto the floor, and had to be escorted out by Yosuke (if Yu didn't have a romantic SL), Chie/Rise/Yukiko (if Yu romanced any one of them).
    • Bonus scenes are added with Chie, Yukiko, and Rise:
      • Chie berates both Kamoshida and Kobayakawa as evil beings who deserves "100 kicks in the face" and declares them the worst kinds of adults. She even attempts to do that until Sayuri stops her.
      • Yukiko outright curses them for their transgressions, and states that she will stand by both Naoto and Yu until their injustices have been avenged, no matter what. Yukiko also says that she heard about Kobayakawa from both Sayuri and Sakura, and that the former came to witness the dressing-down on behalf of her mother.
      • Rise yells at both, and also explicitly states that she'll believe in her friend and sometime rival Ann over "some bogus authorities". Rise also mentioned her own issues of creepy stalkers, hypocritical adults, and any others who assume both Ann and Rise are little more than "dumb bimbo dolls".
  • Affiliations:
