Corrobin
Or will they stay quiet on it?
Thane
Don't we have it confirmed we'll get more info in Famitsu before E3? And why wouldn't they show off a game releasing in July in a June Direct, especially one with the focus on games releasing in 2019?
vanguard333
I imagine we'll get a fair bit of information. I imagine that we won't get a third trailer, but we'll probably get some gameplay footage such as an early chapter of the game. We'll probably see a bit more of the monastery as well as one of the missions.
know_naim
It will be quite close to release date, so I'm banking on an in-depth Threehouse Live segment.
Jakalak
I’m expecting a story trailer with maybe a couple short gameplay clips, and the Treehouse going more in depth on the gameplay after the direct.
Enduin
I would expect a trailer of some kind in the direct and a Tree House Gameplay segment at the very least. Maybe even demos on the show floor for attendees.
VincentASM
Unless Nintendo has an absolutely packed E3 full of brand new games, I think it would make a lot of sense to show Three Houses in some form. After all, it is considered a major release and they'd definitely want to hype it up before release--and E3 is one of the best places to do so. Calico
I see no reason why they wouldn't show it off at E3. I'm expecting a trailer and some gameplay from Treehouse at the very least, and if we're lucky there might even be a demo for attendees. Ivy Wife Supremacy
I mean that's literally 110% confirmed its one of their bigger major release games coming this year E3 is the best place for a final big push until July and for the west atm it NEEDS it the most. I expect they'll have a in-depth gameplay showcase on the showfloor and other things mention in the direct if we get a demo confirmed(outside for possible attendees there) that'd be awesome!(but for datamining you'd have to keep an eye out for). 3 hours ago, Thane said: Don't we have it confirmed we'll get more info in Famitsu before E3? Yeah it did I'm at least expecting 1 more major article before E3 and 1 more before it comes out like they usually do. Etrurian emperor
They said they would show games releasing in 2019 and unless they pull loads of new ones out of their hat Nintendo can't really get around showing some Fire Emblem.
IEatLasers
It’s in “hype this game” stages now I will be so shocked if we don’t get a new trailer
Armagon
Most definitely. This is also when they reveal that one of the Three Houses main characters gets in Smash Ultimate as DLC.
Zapp Branniglenn
The only possibility I suspect where they might not have Three Houses at E3 is a game-specific Direct here in May because they decided they have too much information to share (particularly for the international audiences since we don't get Famitsu). I'm not counting on that happening, so E3 is my guess. And if any game is getting a focused Direct it's Pokemon or Animal Crossing. And even if Three Houses doesn't get a trailer, a demo feels likely which should provide more gameplay info. Personally I'd be happy with that, Fire Emblem trailers are too much cutscenes, not enough "oh but this is also a video game you can play". Look at how many convincing theories there are already about the story, they've shown too much of their hand.
TheDreamReturns
Totally, there's ZERO reason for them to keep the lips zipped a month before launch.

Alexios Blake
First I have to ad that I have some real luck this year. One e3 will happen during my university holidays and two the Nintendo direct will be at 18 a clock for me. What better could I wish for? Now putting that aside. I do think that FE will be present. I guess it will be partially a Info dump to fill the last few holes and partially a part that would build up the hype for the release the next month. HappyHawlucha.
They haven't been doing many specialised directs for individual titles as of late so assuming Three Houses doesn't get one I'm almost 100% sure we'll get a trailer and a gameplay segment if not more than one gameplay segment in Treehouse(preferably with someone who knows what they're doing)
Stroud
Edelgard or Byleth for smash =x.. hmm, as much as I am inclined to it, this just would feel a bit wrong after characters like Rex/Decidueye got cut off. Fire emblem has so many slots in smash already...and while I like FE. There are other games I think deserve it before we see another Fire Emblem character. Honestly shortly before release I do not care that much anymore. xD. And they just have to promote it the most shortly before the release. So of course they do it. Kempfnna
I think we'll definitely get something, but not necessarily quite as much as we did in the last direct.
Onestep
Byleth's whip sword might actually be unique enough to avoid the Marth Clone problem in Smash.

HappyHawlucha.
If we do get another FE rep for Smash in the form of a Three Houses character I would be shocked if it wasn't Edelgard, because she is: - Relevant enough a character from her game, Corrin was really the only character from Fates they could go with for Smash IMO. - A lady, we always need more females in Smash. She's also really marketable. - An axe user/potential magic user, meaning she has the opportunity to have a unique moveset, even though I love FE dearly the characters are awfully similar moveset-wise. vanguard333
I could see it that a Three Houses character is announced as a DLC fighter in Smash, where this character is a bit like Pokémon: you rotate between Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude while Byleth sits in the background and acts as a support in some way. That or just Edelgard.
