But you can also name someone "Lance" and it'd be considered a completely normal name. Can't do that with the other weapons. Ever tried naming someone "Axe" or "Sword"? How about "Tome", "Staff", "Beaststone", or "Bow"? It just doesn't work. "Dagger" doesn't count 'cuz it's in, like, two-or-three games. Well, actually ... Tome (Tomé) is a fairly common name here, but is usually nicknamed Tom. Axe can become Axell or Ax, so..2/5? Bow (Bol) should not be so difficult to find. Is that even pronounced like "Tome"? Because while I'm not familiar with Portuguese or Spanish, I know enough about other European languages to know that letters with accents are pronounced differently. And that to me seems like more of a "Tommy" than a "Tome", judging purely from pronunciation. I will give you staff if only because I just recently remembered there was a Mii in Wii Sports named "Staff". It's easily the best weapon when put to the sound of a heavy metal album, doubly so when dragons are involved, which Fire Emblem has a lot of.
