Tbh, I haven't used any boy Wyvern Lords (not counting Claude) so boys being excluded doesn't change anything since they were already War Masters, Dancer, Dark Knight, full of favoritism 6 movement Warlock, or benched. I hardly use them anyway because I am not LTCing or playing ultra-efficiently and don't really bother forcing everyone into the best class unless I am doing so. I missed that chest because I forgot about the map clear condition hoping that chest won't come back and haunt me. Wanted to try getting screenshots/video of it, but now I can’t remember where in story or supports (I THINK it was in story dialog) that it shows up. To be more specific, I believe a Blue Lions student talks to Byleth about how interesting it is that they are similar in role and motivation to Pan, who didn’t want any glory or recognition, just wanted to support his king Loog. I plan on getting Axe to C so we can get Death Blow from Brigand, but aside from that, Bows are the only thing really standing out to me since maxing out his Bow rank can give him even more damage output. Training him in Flying to A+ is something I considered, but I wasn't sure if it would be a waste since Claude is much more of a player phase unit, and getting his Authority to C should be pretty easy to get without the need of class time. He's got a strength in Riding, flying archer with Mov+1 is basically porn. Aside from that, just go Bow, the earlier you get Prow.5 the more broken he'll be.
