Before you send the FBI my way, hear me out (minor spoilers): She has no body of her own, exists only inside someone's head, yet she's romanceable by both genders of Byleth, whom she's quite clearly crushing on. It's not really a spoiler because you can see it if you go under the Extras menu and view Support Conversations. It lists every available support in the game, but I'm going to put it into spoilers anyway: Sothis has an S-support - and only an S-support - with both genders of Byleth. I haven't viewed it myself yet, but I do have several questions, the most pressing being: how the heck would certain things even work, seeing how Sothis has no body of her own. It's going to be one lonely wedding night, that's for sure. Unless Byleth somehow manages to create a body for Sothis to inhabit? As for her being playable, apparently, there are crit quotes, base stats and growth rates for her programmed into the game, so she may become playable at some point in the future (maybe she's one of the DLC characters?). Personally, I'd be against that, because it doesn't make sense from a story-telling perspective. Then again, neither does the S-support.
