Time for Fjorm and her brother Hrid to show us the last corner of Nifl.

Meanwhile Thrasir is showing her living counterpart, brave Veronica around the dead lands of Hel.

Finally Peony shows her friend Sharena all the quiet, romantic places around Ljosalfheimr.

Well, Hrid and Gunnthra returned! They wished on a star for a bright future. So sweet! ^w^ Meanwhile, Leagjarn and Laevateinn had an argument. Oh dear... (Maybe Laevateinn mentioned her engagement with Hrid. The ones in my barracks are totally engaged; yours come from other versions of Muspell/Nifl so this is fine.)

So, I sent Hrird and Leavateinn off to Nifl to enjoy some time together. 🙂

Meanwhile, in Muspell, Ylgr's spending some time with her best buddy, Helbindi!

And finally, I let Lif and Sharena spend some time together in Hel. ...I still wish we got that pretty black dress Sharena from the book 3 art. Ghost Sharena from there would be awesome.

 

Edit: They've returned!

Hrid and Leavateinn collected stories about respected individuals. Awww. 🙂 It's so sweet, especially given their more serious natures. This must have been very heartfelt.

As for Ylgr and Helbindi... they uncovered traces of a desperate struggle. Oh dear. Maybe Helbindi revisited the spot where he lost his sister, and confessed to Ylgr that he sees her as a sort of second sister.

Now, for Lif and Sharena! They passed spare time doing intense training. Lif is probably trying to help Sharena to be strong so that she doesn't die like his own Sharena did.

 

Well, I have to send a couple units back to Hel (that sounds terrible...) and I don't have Thrasir. So...Surtr and Gunnthra can have a meeting of the minda and become friends, right? Sending them!

Now for Ljosalfheimr. Um... The only native I really have from there is Peony, so I guess she's going. She can be joined by Bunny Sharena! I'm sure they'll have a lot of fun!

Let's see what the bunny and fairy have returned with... XD How fitting! "They got tied up in their excitement to investigate."

Now for Gunnthra and Surtr in Hel... ?! "They enjoyed a veritable feast together." Wow. ... Wasn't expecting that.

Okay, well, dreamland still has another turn it has to take, so... Hmm. Bunny Alfonse and Bunny Bruno; why not?

Almost forgot to update with the pairs that completed the last three kingdoms

Peony escorts a dream-like Bunny Bruno out of Ljosalfheimr.

While Fjorm contemplates her approaching mortality with Eir in the halls of Hel.

Finally Surtr and new years Laegjarn (she is the only other Muspell character I have alright) bond over the starting of spring in the firey halls of Muspell.

I was looking forward to putting together a team of Bunny Sharena, Bunny Alfonse, Bunny Bruno and Bunny Veronica, and a team of Lif, Alfonse, New Year's Alfonse, and Bunny Alfonse...

Lost Lore is here again, this time visiting the world of Fates!

For this first one in Cyrkensia, I'm wishing yet again that I would have managed to pull Nohr-attired Shigure. Well, I do have the Nohrian outfit version of Azura, so she'll be spending time with her son, regular Shigure. They came back, but there was an error, so I didn't get to see how things went.

Moving on! The Forlorn Woods, eh? Well, obviously, I have to send Leo. Specifically, Picnic Leo! He'll be chilling there with Halloween Niles to look after him. The spooky aesthetic of those woods is perfect for Halloween practice.

Now, for Windmire... Who else could I send but Summer Xander (with Dancing Xander's Lilith Mask accessory) and Lilith? Maximum Lilith!

And I would send some people into Castle Krakenburg but I can't send more than 2 teams out at a time yet. Next time!

Forrest and his beloved grandpapa Garon are exploring castle Krakenburg together. They make quite the good contrast. The most irredeemably evil person in fates with the most sweet and wholesome one. As well as one of the best Fates characters with the absolute worst one.

I wouldn't say Forrest is the most wholesome character in Fates, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. To me, that award goes to Percy. ^w^ I haven't read all his supports yet, but the dude is just the epitome of "wholesome child from an era gone by." I'm super impressed with how the writers/localization team nailed that old archetype. (I don't think it's been in circulation for decades...)

Anyway, I went with a similar theme! I sent Garon with one of his grandsons to Castle Krakenburg, though this one was Kana.

Also, Picnic Leo and Halloween Niles returned kind of spooked from their time in the woods, which was surprising to me at first. But then I realized that it's because they ran into some fearsome mythical beasts: Kaden the kitsune and Sakura the nekomata!

As for Summer Xander and Lilith, they had a good time and were excited to do some more exploring, but Felicia needed to show the new maid around the capitol. She has an oddly Hoshidan name, but that's just because Halloween Kagero is under cover!

Meanwhile in the Capital of Windmire, tragedy unfolds as Elise intercepts Xander....

 

and in doing so Elise protects Corrin  (as the second Capital of Windmire team)

In Castle Kraken King Garon meets with his chief advisor Iago, as the army approaches,

while in another version of Forlorn woods Effie and Silas arrive just in time to stop the faceless from ending Corrin.

I suppose the last one could be Castle Shirasagi, since that is where the final battle takes place in Conquest, but still. What, I suppose they want us to come back to Fates later to revisit Hoshidan locations?

Odin and vanilla Jakob are my first round, then Picnic Leo and Summer Takumi for round two. In round three we had M Corrin and Laslow, with round 4 consisting of Silas and Danxing Xander.

They may be locations in Nohr, but it is decidedly following the Birthright storyline.

The Kitsune and the Nekomata got tied up in their excitement to investigate! That's so in-character I love it. XD

Felicia and the new maid overheard information about the local celebrity. Is that Garon? As far as I'm aware, he's the most celebrated of everyone in the capital. Looks like Kagero's mission was a success.

Now, that information may have been about the king's grandson hanging out with his grandfather. Let's see how that went... They enjoyed a veritable feast together. How sweet!

But what else is going on in the castle? Wait, what's that Hoshidan prince doing here?! Iago seems to be talking to Fallen Takumi...

 

Edit: As it turns out, I guess Iago was nervous. Guess he caught wind of the incoming Hoshidan army. Because my strike team is Seasons of Shuriken! The new year is started in winter with NY!Takumi! Following him, celebrating winter and spring with beautiful onsen is Bathtime Hinoka! Next up is Dancing Ryoma for the summer! And finally, Halloween Sakura celebrates autumn! All of them are dagger units. I feel like I just did some flower-arranging. XD

 

Edit: Turns out, Garon's on the far left, and then there's an unknown unit next to him, then Xander, then another unknown unit. Sending out my shuriken Hoshidan royals again.

 

Edit: Wow, turns out there are no generics this time! The order is Garon (axe), Hans(axe), Xander (sword), Iago (red tome.) I went ahead and let most of the shuriken brigade rest up...and instead fielded every Ryoma I have. XD Which is all of them, except for original Ryoma, for some reason. So, regular MCorrin is he;lping his bro out today, and starts up the lineup. Then it's L!Ryoma, followed by Bathtime Ryoma followed by Dancing Ryoma. Time for the next ruler of Hoshido to show Nohr his strength! (With a tiny bit of help from Yato.)

The final scouting of Castle Krakenburg is done by Kinshi Ryoma (Legendary Ryoma), and Kinshi Hinoka, as the might of Hoshido prepare for the final assault on the Throne Room

The First assault comes with all the Hoshidan Royals, as Ryoma (normal one this time), Hinoka (still on a Kinshi), Takumi, and Sakura face off against the might of Nohr. They don't manage to breakthrough anywhere, but Ryoma finds his blade clashing with Garon's axe, and Takumi finds himself in a duel with Iago.

The Second Assault is Corrin and his servants, as Corrin's (m) Yato strikes at Garon, and Lilith goes after Iago (in the third slot), while Jakob and Felicia strike at the still unknown assailants.

Another Lost Lore is here! ...And it is making me painfully aware how absent of Sigurd my barracks is...

So! In Chalphy, Seliph and his mom went off to look around for him.

Into the Second, Arvis come to Evans to met Sigurd, Silver Sword in hand, and a new title from the ailing king to give.

Then in Nordion, Eldigan and Lachesis are having heated words about what should be done about the suspicious death of the old king, and the new king's plans to invade Grannvale...

Now for round three

On the outskirts of Augusti, the dancer Lene, and bard Lewyn make their move to protect the villages of Augustria.

Near Evans castle, Eldigan marches forth to save the castle from the forces of Heirheim, while Arden looks out from the castle, ready to strike those that pass the knights of Nordian by.

Finally at Nordian, Lachesis has been besieged by the forces of Heirheim, until his brother's friend, Sigurd arrives to save the day with army.

You know, I appreciate how close you stick to canon. 🙂 I try to do the same thing, myself, but I'm forgetting some details here, so I'm just doing my best. XD

My pairings are super canon thank you very much. Jamke and Eir; Eldigan and Ninian; Julius and Narcian; Reinhardt and Sonya.

...yeah, those are the default teams the game set for me. Aaaanyway, a very red looking boss lineup this time around.

 

P.S. Also discovered you can accidentally send one hero by themselves on a scout mission, happened when I put Reinhardt in the strike team then sent out scout teams without looking. Fortunately no penalty for cancelling.

Anyway, time to fight! I'd forgotten that I'd pulled a Legendary Leif as a free pull sometime in the past, but because I did, I was able to send out Quan, L!Leif, Altena and Ethlyn! The whole family can die in the desert fight side by side! =D

I think you are doing fine, especially when missing such a story vital unit as Sigurd, plus the fun of Lost Lore is making an interest story with your choice of units and location, even if it is a little off canon. You can only work with what you have, and I must admit the lack of a Dierdre in my barracks did keep me from a few interesting ideas I had, like an Evans wedding with Sigurd and Dierdre, or a young Shannan trying to save Dierdre from Manfloy's kidnapping in Augusti (which is far more interesting in the Oosawa manga version of events, but a fun way to use a Gen 2 unit in what is clearly a Gen 1 Lost Lore).

 

Now for the last explore before the battle, outside Augusti, as the exiled king strike out at the occupied capitol, and two friends Eldigan, and Sigurd meet on the field of battle for one final confrontation...

Now for the first Strike. Sigurd leads with Lewyn and Jamke backing him up from range, and Lachesis healing them up. In a bit of luck Lewyn manages to crush Papilio, while Jamke reveals Jacobi and Chagall tries to pick on Lachesis.

Now for the second strike, Sigurd is still leading the charge against his unknown assailant, while Lachesis takes the empty slot beside him, having finally cleared the space to talk to her brother, Eldigan heads off to meet with Chagall one final time, with Quan distracting Jacobi.
