Yeah I saw that one, it's really interesting. Someone pointed out that Edelgard's particular brand of reunification wouldn't sit well with Koreans, and I can see that, so I see why she wouldn't be as popular there. I know she's also the second most popular female character but it's at 17% of the votes, behind Lysithea's what, 30+%?

Still surprised Cyril isn't higher up on the most disliked list. 

It is a very small sample size though, I suppose.

Picked Black Eagles first, favourite is Edelgard closely followed by Dorothea. 

Recruited Sylvain, Felix, and Ashe from BL among my 2 playthroughs and my favourite is Sylvain.

Currently doing my second run with GD, favourite is Lysithea.

For the staff, Hanneman is a great character.

I really love all the Black Eagles minus Bernadetta though. Wonderful supports and a great story. The Golden Deer are a bit simpler by comparison but I'm growing fond of them too, recruited Marianne and Lys in my first run and love them both, as well as Ignatz, Claude, and Hilda.

Overall...Edelgard.

For her behavior that brings maturity out of people as well as her to bring understanding to people before speaking to them as people look up to those who listen. She may be a bit naive...but she does whatever that she can to make a better world.

 

 

If going the Edelgard side route.

 

She is always busy and hardly has any freetime that you only see her get breaks in the Heroes game. She is such a wonderful woman.

 

That she inspires civilians to kill each other to survive. That alone makes her a dangerous adversary.
