Freohr Datia Posted August 24, 2019 Share Posted August 24, 2019 while I'd rearrange this list a bunch I just wanna say that Marianne is a wonderfully written quiet character and she's actually SO relatable and I've never found a quiet character that I related so much to so often when they write characters like that, when they're asked why they're being so quiet they're always like "I-I'm just so shyyyyyyy kawaii uguuuuuu #>~<#" but with Marianne it's actually something perfectly reasonable like "I'm just not good at talking and haven't had much experience with talking ever in my life, therefore I don't talk much" and what's also realistic is you don't have every other character looking at her like "omggggg she's too cuuuuute because she's shy and soft" there are actually many who get the wrong idea like "wow she won't talk to me, does she hate me??" and they can even take offense to it and the latter is so much like what I've experienced irl (I very RARELY ever have people act like the former to me) it just makes me SO HAPPY to finally have a character I could truly relate to in this aspect... feth just has well-written characters man Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
