Garlyle
The game could really use more variety when it comes to Master classes. 6 out of 9 requires lance training, which is ridiculous. I'd love to have a flying healer class, that was my early dream for my Marianne. Another option for sword users that is not Mortal Savant. (or change the Spd growth rate on that one for the better) Drop some lance requirements and give us a Halberdier option. Maybe another Dark Seal option that unlocks more dark spells for it's user - making Dark seal relevant.

I'm aware of that but his reason spell list is awful. None of his other skills that he is proficient in can be combined in such a way that make him naturally geared toward another master class. Yep. Added bonus - it also works for Lorenz and his inexplicable relic axe.

His spell list is underwhelming.

I mean... at least he has Thoron? A lot of natural mages don't even have a 3 range option. Â (The real reason to go Mortal Savant is Levin Sword cheese though). The alchemist sounds amazing! Area if effect healing and damaging at the same time sounds broken!
thecrimsonflash
I recall hearing that they were not going to add any new classes through DLC and visuals aside, given the way that weapons work there really is little need for master variants of classes I find. Honestly this whole list is a mess, they aren't meant to be upgrades, but they actually are upgrades in some cases.

Area if effect healing and damaging at the same time sounds broken! It certainly could be. That would be a matter of numbers tuning. I think somewhere around 7-10 healing/damage on Elixir Arrow would be balanced.  I think it's worth considering that targets will rarely be surrounded on all 4 sides by friends and foes. This combat art could greatly ease boss fights with AoE healing, but it's more situational and less powerful against standard foes. Edited August 27, 2019 by Etheus
