As a fellow bearer of glasses, I can relate. I lovingly changed the "four eyes are better than two" idiom (which refers to the fact that two people can see more/more easily find things when working together than alone) into "six eyes are better than two", because I already have four of those. Have your glasses ever been called "nose bike"? I had that happen to me once or twice to the point where I exclusively refer to them as "my nose bike".
