KelluPato
While replaying Chapter 6, I noticed something strange, how a design similar to the Crest of Gautier is on one of the warp tiles. Does anyone have a theory on why that may be?
Anacybele
I noticed that awhile back, and when I compared other Crests, I figured out that it's the Gautier Crest with another Crest, I think Goneril, in the center. I do wonder why this is. xP Edited November 30, 2019 by Anacybele
Shanty Pete's 1st Mate
IDK, maybe Margrave Gautier made some savvy investments in warp tile technology? Shame they don't show up anywhere else, I'm kinda hoping they see some use in the much-pondered Abyss.
Modirufa6317
Interestingly, those warp tiles only appear in that chapter, which just happened to be located past a secret passage of the monastery. Based on new dialogues from the latest update, Garreg March has a huge complex underground called the Abyss. So what we see here may be the tip of the iceberg. It's possible that a long time ago, crests could be used for other purposes that have now been lost to history.
BakanGin
Most of the crets are associated with magic so my guess is: the magic for warp requires that crest symbol to be made.
