Getting sick and correctly assuming I'd get better in a couple days. Chronic pain that was easily managed with over the counter meds. I'm 25 now and that feels like a lifetime ago. Even as a child my body ached. Lying down is physically exhausting. It feels like if my body were hanging by my ankles, only my feet can support the weight while standing.
