Post a random fact people probably don't know! (And even if they did, they wouldn't care.)

I'm pretty sure Caligula had no concept of right and wrong. Though I've read the claim that both he and Nero were exaggerated a bit by their enemies after their deaths. That said, if even a 20th of what is written about either was true, then they still deserve the hate they get. Entirely.

Emperor Nero turned singing into an olympic sport just so he could participate in them.
Diabolic!

Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc, to all you English speakers) died at 19 years old.

Which makes her counterpart in the Wolrd Heroes series extra confusing.... as thanks to the year time skip... she manages to make 20 (guess they didn't think that through).https://snk.fandom.com/wiki/Jeanne_D'Arc

Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War doesn't quite have the same RNG as other games in the series. In fact, every single action is "hard-coded" into the game, so to speak, which means that if you were to make the exact same moves as another person playing the game, your playthroughs would be exactly the same. It also makes it easier to RNG manipulate the game if you aren't quite getting the results you want. Lastly, if you've ever wondered why Sigurd can always take out the brigand in turn 1 of the prologue the exact same way every time, the "Hard RNG" is the reason why.

Not an expert on stuff like this, but wouldn't that mean that the "R" is technically a lie?

The story of Siegfried killing the dragon Fafnir and bathing in its blood to become invincible is actually not part of the 13th century tale "Das Niebelungenlied", but instead appears as a story told by the knight Hagen to the king of Burgund in order to validate Siegfried's accomplishments. The actual story stems from the Norse myth of Sigurd, which the Niebelungenlied is a pseudo-sequel to.

During the time the Black Death ravaged Europe, Scotland decided to invade Britain because they were weakened. They brought back the plague and killed half their own population.

Technically speaking, in the case of FE4, the "R" in RNG would be a lie, I agree. There's no other term besides RNG that I can think of, however. Even so, the vast number of possibilities in FE4 branch out so far that they're near limitless, so you could potentially maybe stretch the meaning of the term... maybe make an exception? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In Team Fortress 2, the Spy may react to being covered by one of the Sniper's secondary weapons, Jarate. The Spy may scoff at the Sniper, saying, "Jarate?" and laugh. There are other responses, but perhaps in an oversight, the Spy can react the same way to the Scout's secondary weapon, the Mad Milk. This was something I had discovered while playing the game.

Fire Emblem players are actually really, really bad at strategy games:

  • In Civilization, they refuse to build any archers, since that's the worst class in the game. They then get promptly run over by whatever aggressive civ spawned close to them.
  • in classical RTS games, like Age of Empires, Warcraft or Starcraft, they refuse to build a second copy of any given unit.

In the first generation of the series, Psychic Pokémon were immune to Ghost-type attacks - most likely in error. Not that it matters too much, since two of the three Ghost-type moves of that generation (Night Shade and Confuse Ray) aren't affected by type effectiveness and the third one (Lick) is extremely weak.

The Middle-earth character Celeborn (Galadriel's husband) was originally to be called Teleporno, which is funny and I'm twelve years old.

Celeborn is "silver tree" in Sindarin ("modern elvish"), Teleporno is "silver-high" in Quenya ("old elvish").

When a bolter round is used on a victim the bullet explodes when it penetrates beneath the skin or armor. It also saves the victim’s family a boatload of money on funeral expenses because there is usually very little left of the victim’s body.

In Dungeons and Dragons, Dragonborn (that is, humanoid dragons, not the Skyrim variety) do not have tails, unlike how most people would think.

But, DMs and players alike can have a Dragonborn with tails if they’d like.

Bruh moment.

*WARNING-IF YOU LIKE FAKE VANILLA EXTRACT, STOP READING HERE, BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO BUY IT AGAIN-*

*Ahem*

You have been warned.

The flavor of fake vanilla extract comes from Castor Sacs. Castor Sacs are Glands located in a beaver' butt. Generally, Beavers would utilise this gland to excrete Castoreum, (a liquid that gives the flavor to false vanilla extract) and pee to mark their territory. Yum.

No need to thank me for this valuable info.

I'm gonna use this the next time someone tries to tell me that science doesn't make mistakes.

Reportedly, Donald Duck comics are banned in Finland, because the character does not wear any pants.

If somebody says that, they have no fucking idea how science works.

If Donald and Mickey did a fusion dance, the result would either be appropriately dressed or completely naked. No inbetween.

That reminds of this Mickey Mouse short:

Speaking of which, this was the very first episode of these Mickey Mouse shorts. This series has been around since 2013, and has had 5 seasons and 94 episodes, 96 if you count the specials.
