And..that's probably the only legal way to obtain it on 3ds. It's also present at Japan's Virtual Console of Wii and Wii U, alongside the Switch's Online thing for NES. Eltosian Kadath Posted April 16, 2020 Share Posted April 16, 2020 Unfortunately you would need a Japanese 3DS to play the game legally, as the cartridge was a DSi enhanced game, which let Nintendo force some region lock code into it preventing it from being used in other regions on DSi, and 3DS systems (although funnily enough older models of DS can still run it no matter the region), and its only available on the Japanese 3DS virtual console. Now you might be able to play it on a hacked 3DS system, but you would be better served by looking at a forum that focuses on console hacking to better answer that question.
