Question about the Member Card

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to buy enough promotion items to promote everyone (part of a challenge run I'm doing where I'm using the lowest-levelled units available for each map), which is, it turns out, quite a big pocketbook hit. My question is: does anyone know if it's possible to sell the Member Card while on the secret shop screen, then (without leaving the shop entirely), choose the Buy option and buy something? Since the extra 2000 gold from that would be a notable help.

I once did that challenge run in Sacred Stones and it was quite challenging. Can't even imagine how much harder Binding Blade would be. I'm pretty sure you can.

@Icelerate @samthedigital Thanks! I suspected that would be the case (the easiest way to code secret shops would be to check only when you initiate the shop option from the map) but as you can imagine I didn't want to do most of Chapter 21 (which I expect to be very difficult) only to learn I was wrong.

And yeah I've done this challenge once before, over a decade ago, with Path of Radiance Hard Mode. It's certainly much tougher in this game, both because the game is tougher at base and also because there are so many more PCs (some of them quite bad) so experience gets diluted even further.
