I just cooked some fish. So yeah, what are some of your favorite fish? I am going to divide my fish into tiers and separate their preparation methods, since how they are eaten drastically affects how much I like it.

All Time Favorite
Pollock (Saute/Seared)
This is one of top two my favorite fish. I like it seared on both sides.
Gravlax
This is salt cured salmon. It is amazing. I highly recommend making your own, since it is pretty expensive buying it in packs.
Clams (Clam chowder)
Lobster (Baked)
Lobster (Steamed)
Shrimp (Gumbo)
Snow Crab/King Crab (I cannot tell the difference; baked)
Snow Crab/King Crab (steamed)

Really Good:
Caviar
Lobster(Boiled)
Scallop (Baked)
Scallop (Saute/Seared)
Shrimp (Saute/Seared)
Shrimp (Boiled)
Tobiko
Uni (Raw)

Good:
Cod (Battered and Fried)
Crab (Baked)
Crab (Boiled)
Crab (Steamed)
Salmon (Raw)
Swordfish (Saute/Seared)
Tuna (Raw)
Tune (Seared)

Okay:
Anchovies (Canned in tomato sauce or mustard sauce)
Catfish (Breaded and Fried)
Salmon (Saute/Seared)
Tilapia (Saute/Seared)

Bland/Needs lots of sauce:
Abalone (Boiled)
Abalone (Steamed)
Mussels (Boiled)
Mussels (Steamed)
Rockfish (Saute/Seared)
Not a huge fan of rockfish as it is smells really fishy. This is what I just cooked and ate, and I doused it in Sriracha. I have only tried the frozen ones though that you buy in a bag of filets, so maybe the fresh ones does not smell as fishy.

No thanks:
Oysters (Raw)

Oh, and here is Gordon Ramsay staying home cooking fish and chips in under 10 minutes.

I know it's not in the same phylum, but does shellfish count? Because that's where most of my favorite seafood lies. Steamed clams, boiled lobster, and especially breaded n' fried shrimp! That last one's my favorite, even if it's a pain to make by hand.

As for proper fish, my favorite is salmon for its natural flavor and texture. Flounder and tilapia are nice baked or fried too.

Sure! Feel free to expand your food list to include other categories! I just stuck with fish so my list would not get too long.

I guess I will add some other types of seafood too.

Not really someone with a wide palette.

Just here to ask if people should be concerned that a cat is asking the question.

...

Should people be concerned that a cat is asking them this question?

Who better to ask strangers a fishy question than a cat in a hat?

Nick's and Sally's parents are not concerned about the Cat in the Hat who knows a lot about that to babysit their children.
