I've made my decision that I was mulling over before and picked Archer for my Fate/Extra playthrough.
Also, I'll be playing as the female Hakuno, because she's freaking adorable.
So, basically, my playthrough will end up like this:

So... yeah.

Thanks!

I just will visit the highest railway bridge of my home country and walk towards a museum, nothing too special.

Also I'm going to download Tales of Crestoria. If it's like Tales of the Rays, it should become fun. Heroes has been become boring lately, so it could become my new mobile game replacement.

Edit: ...It's not compatible with my mobile devices.

Sorry, but I will post this icon more in the next time because I have to.

Even with Fate Extra's weird combat system an Archer run isn't difficult even on a first run. Archer is normal mode, Saber is easy and Tamamo is hard.

Finished writing out in two days from start to finish a crossover idea I've long had in my head, but never fully committed to paper. It's a "semi-realistic" DLC scenario for Torna, the Golden Country featuring the trio of heroes from Baten Kaitos: Origins (I know, bo-ring bringing them up again). A little freak dimension incident sends them to Alrest and with them a little something else that they feel they have to deal with, hoping doing so will bring them back home somehow as well. The nine heroes of Torna wind up meeting the trio and, although Malos is their highest priority of course, decide to assist their new acquaintances with this otherworldly issue. I was considering XC2 main-game for the crossover, but I went with Torna instead, even if that was harder to work around.

I call this "semi-realistic" because I tried to limit it to what would be possible as actual DLC content for the game which would mean DLC for DLC, I attempted to keep this scenario not overly long and not too demanding on Monolith's resources so that it wouldn't cost more to make than it would sell. Of course, this is like a lot of modern retro-inspired games, Shovel Knight might look like it's 8-bit, but I'm sure a real NES cartridge of the biggest size would struggle to fit the one of the music or graphics, much less both at the same time + the rest of the game. The same could be said of what I wrote out- the veneer of possibility over the impossible fantasies of a fan. Nonetheless, I felt like operating under the constriction (that I broke), perhaps because restraint helped me to narrow down on what I could create, so I could make something instead of staring blindly at the screen lost in thoughts.

I wrote this out with a very specific point from BKO in mind as to when they cross over, using one very small stroke of artistic license to make it slightly plausible that they could. But I wrote without going into deep spoilers, inevitable that I did mention a few plot points and lore threads up to the moment of BKO when the crossover happened. This is not an XC2 Land of Challenge situation, it's more full and integrated than that and thus need more to be said. Of course without knowing anyone else who could judge if I said too much, I can't be absolutely sure if I did.

All it is is an outline really, Architect forbid I try writing: every line of dialogue, choose who says what, and every single bit of what is said- this is an unholy trinity of detail devils. But it is a step-by-step, 14 page, 1.5 spaced, size 12 font, bulleted for loose organization paragraphs, outline going from the initiation of the extended sidequest to its conclusion. And for that, I am proud, a fanfic idea I actually completed is a rarity for me.

Nice to hear!
I haven't gotten too far yet (I'm on Day 4 of Week 1 and I want to kill Shinji so badly), but things are going surprisingly smooth so far. I don't know how viable it is (or possible), but I kinda want to make his stats identical to the ones he has in canon.

Archer does make a lot of references to Stay Night, which would probably go right over people's heads if they haven't watched/read that yet.

Also, I really want to kill Shinji. That's going to be so gosh darn satisfying.

Right, in Fate Extra you can build your servants the way you want, you can't do that in Fate Extra CCC.

I remember building Saber in a standard Str and Endurance build while Tamamo became the biggest glass cannon ever known to mankind. Once she got enough mana through level ups she did massive amounts of damage with her skills. She could DESTROY boss servants. Problem is that if the enemy combo'd her she would get killed super quickly but that challenge made it kind of fun.

I don't actually remember how I build Archer but I think that his cannon stats should be decent enough. He's the balanced option after all.

Neat! Then I'll try to do that!
Now I only need to look at his canon stats in Extella or Extella Link, both of which helpfully list those for every playable Servant (though I don't know if they have any effect on gameplay at all).

I agree, KOS-MOS would be probably a more realistic picl (not only because she exists in Project X Zone) since she's fairly popular.

She also just crossesover a lot, so being in Smash would just be buisness as usual.

Congratulations. I still haven't made any progress on Baten Kaitos but i would be interested in reading, if you're willing to share.

Speaking of Torna, I made it to the first Malos fight. And i'm just gonna shill this cutscene (no spoilers are in it, it's just cool)

One of my favorite moments in the whole series. The music, the choreography, Malos, it's all just *chef's kiss*.

Anyway, i'm gonna do all of the sidequests before finishing this game. And then, it's replay Xenoblade 2 again time

Oh I thought that you were referring to FSN Archer. I know that they're technically not the same character but I assumed you meant him because I only knew about FSN Archer's stats. I guess you can use his Extra CCC stats.

I was referring to FSN Archer, I just thought he and Extella's Nameless had the same stat ranks.
Aw man...

I actually took a look at the wiki

Rin FSN Archer

Str: D

End: C

Agi: C

Mana: B

Luck: E

Hakuno Fate Extra Archer:

Str: C

End: C

Agi: C

They're almost the same, I see. Extra/Extella Archer is slightly stronger and has more luck. Interesting!
Should be doable, I suppose. Thank you for looking these up for me!

Koei Tecmo, it's nice that you put Atelier Ryza's DLC on sale to celebrate Atelier Ryza 2 but i wish it applied to the individual things as well instead of just the season pass.

KT be like that.
I haven't gotten any DLC, neither for Lulua or for Ryza. Is it worth the money, in your opinion?

Alright, time to continue through the Belkan War.

Mission 04 is special, in that it's divided into three operations where one can choose which to tackle. The mission overall is to escort an Osean fleet across Futuro Canal in the Osean-Sapin border (Sapin eventually joins the Allies, but I don't think it's stated when). In a bit of continuity came, the fleet includes none other than the Kestrel, in what is its maiden voyage. So, the three operations are to either destroy the Belkan forces south of the canal (Gelnikos), the forces north of the canal which include their fleet (Round Hammer), or escort the Osean fleet as it makes its way across the canal (Costner). I went for Round Hammer.

Apparently this is the mission where non plot important aces start to show up in a first playthrough, whether through trigger or as they should be. Curious point since I'm pretty sure I encountered none of those (outside the mandatory ace team of Mission 03, that is), despite doing the requirements. Anyway, enemy targets include ground targets and the fleet itself. Destroying either group first triggers aces, if in Normal difficulty or above. I went for the ground targets, which makes Bachstelze in a Hornet show up. Fun little fact, Bachstelze is one of the few female ace pilots the game has. Well, by her Assault Record, KIA. I also noticed ships can also turn yellow. This seems to happen more often if any targetable weaponry they carry gets destroyed. I'll have to keep that in mind.

So, moving on to Mission 05, which is to liberate the mountain town of Solis Ortus. Allied transport planes will fly over and para-drop forces as Belkan anti-air weaponry tries to shoot them down. This one has an ace around right of the bat if on Normal or above, Ace style dependent. For Soldier, it's Spieler in an F-2A Viper Zero. He lives. Also on Normal or above, destroying all ground units (includes non-targets but excludes neutrals) triggers Fischer in an A-10A Thunderbolt II. He carries a paint scheme for the Thunderbolt II. He also lives.

Last of the day, Mission 06, the liberation of the Ustian capital, Directus. It's standard, but contains a mini-mission, to destroy bombers threatening the ground allied forces. This also affects the Ace bar. Fulfilling it moves it to Knight, otherwise to Mercenary. I think ignoring it counts as failing it. Anyway, starting ace for Soldier Normal is Wolkenmeer in an EA-18G Growler. He lives.

Like Mission 03, this mission marks another "boss" battle against an enemy squadron. Unlike before, this one is not Ace style dependent. It will always be...

zachtan's Content - CombatACEINARA - Elite:Dangerous companion

A two plane formation in Su-37 Terminators. Already expecting them to show up, I brought a plane with SAAM's, even though the mission itself has ground targets. Due to only having the half the numbers... and no chaff, they went down much quicker than Grun. Although, unlike Grun's Hornets, Gelb's Terminators can withstand a SAAM, taking two to take down. They still go down with two regular missiles, so this discrepancy is... maybe since they're "boss" units? Anyway, Gelb 2 lives... Gelb 1 does not. Gelb 2 carries the paint scheme for the Terminator.

Hmm, "Gelb", Terminators... that's totally a 04 reference if I ever see one.

Alright, a third of the game complete. Will continue... next time.
