BTW EVO versions are not worth their money imo.

Artstyle has been changed which doesn't have to be better all the time.

Same goes for music where arranged versions are used and honestly in the majority cases I prefer the regular version.

Yeah, I completely agree. Trails is great but I wouldn’t drop $70-80 on a Vita game that I could just as easily play on PC or in PSP form.

I’m honestly surprised I got the patch to work.

I’m also usually partial to original anything when it comes to games I’ve played before, like the original Wind Waker vs the newer bloom-heavy Wii U version. The only thing about Evo that looks a bit strange to me is Estelle. There’s just something about her face that looks a bit off and not quite the way she should look.

I can’t tell you how many times my grandfather’s put himself in a situation dangerous to his health because he wanted to “get it done” on his own. Of course I don’t fault him for wanting to feel independent at his age (85) but sometimes he’s come close to really injuring himself because of it.

Deutsche Wahn strikes again. Since 9 AM I have been on a travel to a relative. I should have arrived there already. Though trains don't depature, and it's not even mentioned on screen boards until the train would have be delayed. After almost 4 hours I got stuck in a Station about 40 km away from the final destination because nothing goes. Now I am travelling back home.

Summary: at least seven hours have been burnt.

The irony is that the distance between my location and final destination ist about 100 km at max.

Something like this happened a few weeks ago for me.
Phone call:
"Hey, grandma, I'm going grocery shopping. Need anything?"
"No, I'm good!"
Next day:
"Hey, grandma! How are you doing today?"
"Pretty good. I was out buying groceries yesterday, and..."
"..."

That sounds really bad...

At the same time, i am not surprised. DB isn't exactly known for being good...

Hopefully it all works out tomorrow!

"Annoying" is good.

The day of my cousin and mine is ruined.

I see him once per year at best, and today should have been this day.

Will have to do another attempt tomorrow, but I will leave much earlier, probably at 7 AM.

I hope it'll work out for you!

Thanks!

I can only hope...

After researches the railway I had to use was closed due to an overhead line damage which lasted more than two hours.

Anyways I'm back home now......sweaty and frustrated.

What a wasted day...

I'll cool down for the rest of the day and not let my anger out here.

Edit: My cousin cancelled tomorrow, so RIP.

So, I got back to DQV today (I'm flip-flopping between three games atm, MegaNep, TitS, and this), and beat up a boss I was stuck on.
It wasn't a story boss, that one I'm still kind of stuck on (because who doesn't love a boss that can attack twice, kill your party in two hits AND has AOE...), and at present, I have no clue how I'll beat that thing, but I'll see what I can do about that once I get back to the guy.
I really need an AOE heal...

EDIT: And I kicked that guy to the curb. Was a hard fight, but in the end, I prevailed.
Thanks, Oomph! Really dumb name for a spell, but oh so very effective...

Last I knew, Mexico wasn't in Europe.

I was fighting Ladja in Talon Tower.

Ah, yes.

There really wasn't much to do there. In that battle he's immune to everything except Sap in terms of status ailments. Just about the best thing to do there is bring fire protection.

Insulate from the son helped a lot in that battle.
Ironically, the daughter learned Bounce after leveling up from that fight. I wish I had that during the battle, honestly.
But it will probably help me in battles to come, I'm sure.

Hmm, until you obtain a certain item, don't count on Bounce being too helpful. Since it will, well, bounce healing spells too. So keep that in mind.

That said, there is no tennis effect in DQ, so using spells on a Bounce protected teammate is a good way to bypass an enemy's own Bounce. Though by this point you can remove it with the Zenithian Sword. Using it as an item gives you Disruptive Wave.

Oh yeah, I noticed.
It's like Reflect in Final Fantasy in this regard.

Also like FF! At least in X, this is possible.

That I can do! I used it against Björn (lol) to get rid of his buffs.

I know, it’s just that I didn’t know Julian Teehee was German as well.

It happens. There was a time you'd think the FE4Thread only had Brazilians.
