At that point, you basically steamrolled the final boss due to level penalties.

Doesnt this not apply to the final boss? Even as a red tag enemy, they are easy to hit, even under leveled. So I assume that goes both ways?

I'm pretty sure the level penalties still apply, I distinctly remember having trouble with the final boss during my first playthrough on the N3DS version because I was underleveled.

One of the mains, atleast xD

Even in the Crossover she's either one of the mains, or the protag and Antagonist at the same time xD

I was about to ask "how does that work?", then I remembered the crossover is the party game (I think). XD

So... funny thing about Fate Extella.
Nero has a verbal tic of going "umu" a lot. And I mean a lot. To memetastic degrees, in fact.
And Tamamo has a similar one where she says "mikooon".
Meaning we'd almost have a full JRPG party of "girls with specific phrases that are or could be (or should be) memes" if we crossed Fate and Neptunia.

Neptune goes "Nepu"
Noire goes "Nowa"
Nero goes "Umu"
Tamamo goes "Mikooon"
And Nepgya goes "NEPGYAAA!!!"

Notice how four of these start with the letter "N"?

When are level penalties a thing?

Or to be more precise in which level range?

I hope my team's level 76 is fine for enemy's level 82.

If you see an enemies name in red, that means your accuracy is going to be awful. Yellow means it will be bad, but not awful. Gray means your going to destroy your opponent.

Hmmm, that's strange, but maybe your right. It just doesnt seem like it puts the same restrictions on you it normally does.

To follow up what Lightcosmo said:

Red tagged enemies are at least six levels higher than you

Yellow tagged enemies are 3-5 levels higher than you.

Gray tagged enemies are 0-2 levels higher or lower than you.

Blue tagged enemies are 3-5 levels lower than you.

Black tagged enemies are 6 levels lower than you and will not aggro on you at all unless you attack them first, regardless of aggro status (UMs and bosses are exempt from this).

The final boss will always have a red tag on account of it's level being "???" but it's level 82 and if you're Lv.76, then the final boss will be an actual red tagged enemy.

Ah, I see, thanks!

That means I need one more level to be safe.

Actually I have fought multiple enemies >5 levels higher than my team (mainly the ones inside the mark of the bionis) and I could beat them all at once aside of the flying thing, but only because it rams me from the platform into the aether.

Anyways final showdown time!

Let's do it!

I will give a little review later, but I have to say yet: I wished there was more music variety.

Even in the

Spoiler

Dickson

fight the exact two same battle themes have been played again.

They're totally overused.

Though the final boss theme of phase 1 and 2 was great.

As for 3 phase I can't even say since I only could listen to the song for like one minute, it's exactly as long the last phase lasted.

What a shame for the theme.. whatever it was...

Don't misunderstand me, it was a great game, but the soundtrack was lacking in variety imo.

That is something i retroactively wished for upon playing Xenoblade 2. Xenoblade 1 has mostly good battle themes but there is very little variety when it comes to the boss themes. Even Xenoblade X had two different boss themes depending on how significant the boss was to the story.

Anyways, congratulations on beating the game. Don't forget, there's still Future Connected to look forward to.

@Falcom Knight congrats on completing the game! Yeah, the final boss is a cakewalk, honestly. One of the things that XC2 massively improved on is after game, XC1 is kinda lacking in that department.

you could also reread the sports festival (from ch85) since the manga missed some panels that detail Chika's and Kaguya's work in Ishigami's case

nothing major that the anime didn't hint at though

I see. I'll start from Ch.85 then. Thanks!

So in Fate Extella, I finished Tamamo's story. The ending was incredibly cute.
I also dabbled in some side stories afterwards.

Although why is Hakuno not turning into stone right now?

Cursed ending, Tamamo does not deserve this

Glasses. No, that's the actual reason.

She doesn't, but I still laughed. Her voice actress' delivery is just gold. XD

Huh.
Well then!
Perseus could have made things a hell of a lot easier for himself had he known that.
