Other than having skits, there's also a sidequest with AE's own version of the Dark Wings (I remember Abyss' version of the trio, heh), and a minigame similar to Phantasia's Mach Lad. Yeah, Cress pretty much spells this one out. Though, curious. This means he, Mint, and Arche are from a point in Phantasia's story in which they already have the Eternal Sword. Neat trivia there.
