I I was doing fine until this map. The railway canon itself isn't that problematic, as my archer can take it out before it fires it's second shot. It's a combination of railway, Armor Knights with high% guard chance (total damage nullify. Imagine Kaga great shield on steroids) combined with super long Archers behind them that just wreck my units. Add to that my Magic user needing forever and a half to cast something (like, 18 cast time then 16 after delay only to deal 200 damage??? I deal more damage with a normal 10 delay attack) and the enemy having a AOE healer and all tactic points, and i am not really having fun atm. I think the game's highest point is definetly the turn system (it's AT mixed with Berwick, kinda), and the battles were fun and challenging so far, but: - Chests are a pain to destroy (you neef 4-5 attacks to destroy them) and nothing like a chest key exists, which makes me skip most chests as enemies don't joke in this game (like, Ai is actually smart enough to get out of your Aoe magic that's being casted). - UI sucks - looting/getting items needing an extra turn to pick em up is just a bruh moment. Even worse, enemies can get to the loot before you and take it... - MC gets a legendary weapon, except it's so heavy you can't equip anything else, and only has access to aoe attacks which can hit allies as well. So i just don't equip it since i like to have MC near allies without him killing them, and i like to have other equipment on him beside a sole weapon. - the game has some kinda Mercenary/camp system, but also has a 6 deployment limit... I remember that fight lasting me like an hour because everyone was dead except Zin because only he was bulky enough both offensively and defensively. The ads and suggestions (especially the later) i have been getting on the app were super annoying. And, admittedly, I've grown fond of the algorythm and its completely schizophrenic decisions. Usually I just scoff at its idiotic recommendations, but from time to time it somehow strikes gold. Like the time it just randomly recommended me a video in Japanese (I wish I knew why it keeps doing that) of a game that was still being developed at the time. It looked interesting in spite of... uh, let's say Japan character designs. Then I completely lost track of it, until Youtube once again recommended me the exact same video completely out of nowhere like two weeks before the game was released on Steam. Here it is, if anybody cares. I know what the characters look like, but otherwise it seems like a solid Metroidvania kinda game. I might pick it up at some point. To be honest, I've found that the app is straight up worse than the PC site in many aspects - which is strange, given they get more traffic from there, so you'd expect them to make it good. You can't set videos on loop, for instance. The amount of times I've found myself wishing I could put a short music video on loop, but I can't because the app sucks. Also, BotW2 has been confirmed for 2022 now, as we all expected. Apparently it is Spring though and will be at E3. Dayni is a dumdum.
