Interdimensional Observer
Woke up a few hours before I usually would. Wasn't going to try going back to sleep with sunrise soon approaching. I'll spend them on the Internet whilst thinking "I should take a break from the news for a few days, but, let me watch a little more of humanity's demise first".🥱 Also: [NSW] Metroid Dread (Nintendo, 10/08/21) – 86,798 (New) 13. [PS4] The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki (Falcom, 09/30/21) – 5,733 (55,847) This doesn't look like a big, it's Metroid you say? Except, Metroid has traditionally sold rather poorly in Japan. According to one commenter's numbers.: >Fusion - 49k>Zero mission - 39k>Prime - 39k>Other M - 44k>Prime 3 - 33k>Samus Returns - 29k Metroid is a West-oriented franchise made in Japan. Dread is the best Metroid in Japan since either the NES original and or Super Metroid (for which reliable Japanese sales data is not available). And a long-running JRPG franchise's latest game has sold less than Metroid! Metroid succeeding shouldn't significantly outpace a healthy franchise in a genre that Japan more readily loves than Metroid, with "anime" aesthetics more readily loved than Western-esque Metroid's. A franchise that for every prior recent installment had matched or exceeded these extraordinary Metroid sales. (As an aside, shame to see Dread now being slightly diminished by complaints that some employees were left off the credits.) More fuel for your fire Shrimpy.🔥 Edited October 15, 2021 by Interdimensional Observer

Saint Rubenio
Awwwwww, goddamnit! For shame, hacker! You did not respect Knoll's base 0 luck! He has 5 now. 0/10 hack sucks now. Man, this is like, the desert of disappointment. Maybe all those great chapters up to now were a fluke, clearly this hack has dropped the ball now-- Caellach moves. ...All right, I love it again. It wasn't even a bullshit kind of move, he started going before I could reach his range. I imagine Valter will be similar. I will say, though, his AI is a bit weird. He seems too afraid to attack Tankmilia or Duessel, even though he doubles Duessel. Well, Tankmilia's not afraid of him.

I'm trying to remember that, obviously you could in the casino, but BP was for the tower and so on and I can't think of any time you could use it to get a pokemon from it. Yeah, it's a common practice unfortunately. "Be part of the project for at least 25% of it's development" is such a vague statement because what reliably determines that? Part of the reason why the video game industry gets away with so much shit is due to the lack of unions and that's why it's so important that unions begin to form. Actually, her growths in this hack are awesome. And the Metis scroll doesn't increase growths in this hack, it raises stats so high that they overflow and render the unit virtually useless. So no, I'm not giving it to anyone other than the vendor.

It looks like lifetime sales for Prime 1 reached 78k in Japan. Federation Force sold less than 4k in its first week. And after nine months on the market, Zero Mission had made it to "Nice"k in Japan. With lifetime sales for Fusion reaching 180k, will Dread reach this? 8 minutes ago, Armagon said: Doesn't seem like Vanillaware drops their prices tho. Odin Sphere came out in what, 2016? Still at $60? Yeah, better to wait on a sale. Correct, 2016. I must've grabbed it on sale on the PS3, $29.99 I think, which explains why I got it digital despite my physical preference. And technically, Odin Sphere is an HD port of a PS2 game from 2007, so speaking in "ideals of pricing", it should be lower. Although, I wouldn't say the $60 is entirely unjustified, given Refined Mode was along the lines of a massive gameplay overhaul. Just now, Saint Rubenio said: Sooks no! You're American! Don't you worry, Ronald Reagan was once a Screen Actors' Guild man, but then he got a job doing radio stuff for Ford or another big American company in the 1940s and 50s and began sliding into the beliefs which would see him elected president of post-WWII pre-2016 American conservatism. Sooks has years aplenty to see his ideology mutated into a true patriotic American one. From what my high school history textbooks said, unions in the United States peaked in the 1950s, after FDR and the Great Depression had made America temporarily pro-union on the whole. They've failed to ever match those highs since, in part due to anti-union legislation being passed starting in the 50s. Prior the 1930s, unions were deemed rather suspect. And the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890, the first -and weak- antitrust law in American history, intended to reign in big Gilded Age business, backfired and found itself initially misinterpreted so as to break up unions instead of corporations. In America, big corporate is allowed, but big labor is not -unless it's something firmly on the right like the police unions. But that's enough history for now. Labor has been screwed since the start of civilization, I think that's fair to say. Big gov't, big business, big socioeconomic-political elite is always going to try coming up with a new form of slavery. And most of the time, they're going to win. So maybe. 17 minutes ago, Interdimensional Observer said: I must've grabbed it on sale on the PS3, $29.99 I think, which explains why I got it digital despite my physical preference. I'd have to anyway, seeing as how physical copies are rare. It's the same for Gravity Rush, I went to GameStop last night just to see if they had it and I was told that it was a limited release. If they did have it, it'd be a $70.

MisterIceTeaPeach
Beaten "Super Mario Odyssey". The ending was not what I expected Spoiler the part controlling Bowser. This was soooo cool. Without saying too much it was my favorite "Mario" game for sure simply for being super creative by making use of all the enemies. The enviroment was also very unique by having similarities to "Zelda" or even "Xenoblade". Very cool game! I do feel the game runs out of steam after you're done dicking around the bonus areas, because all that's left is collecting the forgettable moons. But that's okay. Most people don't 100% a game, anyway. Consider it done - now just run around, explore and pick up whatever moons you find till you get bored. Like, I'm not exactly that interested in the N64 generally, but more than double your base price is a bit much for what is in this even if I was. Sadly I did expect less, more fool me. I have an aside on this related to the NSO emulators: Frankly the mistake I felt there is for NSO with the console packs is that you can't choose to DL whichever games you wanted to have, which would help those who'd use it to actually choose what they want for it and would prevent concerns about making them too large and thus possibly inconvenience those with worse internet bandwith if, say, they ever bother putting GC up.
