Not the first time LoZ has had a randomized element. Those Gasha Nuts in the Oracle games come to mind, their name literally being derived from gasha/gachapon. And the DS duo include randomized materials and ship/train parts, seemingly with some of them guaranteed to be rather rare depending on your file and thereby almost forcing you to trade with other players to get all the parts, if my personal experience is anything to go off of. Better than the Maple Piece of Heart IMO. Since at least, if you know via online guides it's restricted which soil spots can give it, it shouldn't take too long to get. -No guide though? Then it's real bad, b/c the game gives no clue about the soil quality varying I think, and you could mistakenly keep planting in the same readily located spot over and over again to no avail.
