established the New Bronquian Empire and took on the title of Blazing Emperor.

Many of his comrades took on important positions in the new imperial
government, and pledged to continue their efforts in order to unify the new 
Empire.

But those who were there at the start of the private army, Shiskia, Jenon, and 
Medoute, were no longer around.

After that the Bronquian Empire, under Blazing Emperor Gulcasa's good governing 
and military strength, and having flourished beyond what was expected right 
after the revolution, had become a threat to its neighboring countries......

Invading its neighbor, the Kingdom of Fantasinia, and achieving its shocking 
plan for conquest took a mere three years......

Anyway, that part of the world certainly likes them world conquests. Yggdra's father was also told he should conquer the world, and strike at Bronquia while Soltier was still in charge so he'd be a liberator. Woops, Gulcasa got there first. And now he too thinks a One World Order (TM) is the path to peace. If not him, it would've been Ordene the aggressor. Funny how it works.

Though seriously. Even Fantasinia's hands aren't clean. They wiped out the Vanir kingdom and exiled the survivors to Lost Aries. Before YU starts Bronquia was the only country in the area not under their control, allied, or tributary to them. I mean, sure, this was almost by design *looks at Cult-kun*, but if not Bronquia, it would've been Fantasinia. And we kinda see it. The flood of Ishnad, the massacred of the militias, and while not Yggdra's actions per se the nuking of the Arc of Triumph was still a very reckless move, as it wiped out a good part of Flarewerck. I mean, say what you will, but at least Gulcasa didn't had to resort to blowing up a good chunk of Paltina...

Well, not all empires rise by conquering everything themselves. I mean, they do have to fight and all, but sometimes your enemies lay more groundwork for your success than other times.

• The Mongolians got some help with their conquests of China from the Xia/Tanguts and the Jurchen-Jin -who themselves overthrew the Khitan-Liao. These dynasties stole a great chunk of northern China, weakening the Song Dynasty significantly, and hence vulnerable to being finished off.
• The Byzantine and Sassanid (Persia/Iran) Empires had spent decades of exhaustive warring against each other, when all of sudden the sometimes-raiding people of Arabia caught both of them unaware and combined their new religiously-inspired zeal with their enemies' hefty fatigue.
• Speaking of Persia, Alexander the Great's conquest of the Achaemenid Empire is a little less spectacular when you realize the Empire had disintegrated into satraps (provincial governors) who basically ignored the emperor's requests and did their own things -corrupt decentralization.

There should definitely be more examples, but I can't think of them ATM.

And for a peaceful instance of most lucky empire, Charles I of Spain and Holy Roman Emperor. Spain, its New World empire, the Netherlands and Belgium, all of southern Italy, Austria, modern Czech Republic and Slovakia, Croatia, a part of then-ginormous Hungary. With the rest of Germany technically his vassals.

I mean, she could've just... not invade Bronquia. They drove Bronquia out once already. Stay on the defensive now while sending emissaries for a truce. Sure, bound to fail since Nessiah needed the conflict to continue, so he'd just Sephiran out something to spark a new conflict. But that's kinda the point.

At that point Yggdra is as consumed for revenge that she's not willing to see for a more peaceful solution, opting instead to now take the battle to Gulcasa, as it were. We saw that in YU's BF18, how she got captured because of her desire of revenge let her be lured out into a trap. Then depending on the ending it either ends with her coming to her sense and renouncing war for peaceful ruling (kinda cheapened out when she already killed her opposition)... or retains the bloodlust but now directs it to the corrupt Asgardian beaurocracy.

The war wouldn't have just stopped with her driving out the imperials. Even Kylier who was against the counter invasion admitted to herself that that is hopeless idealism.

Blaze Union drives that point even more home with the high lever propaganda at the end, and how everyone is willing to follow Gulcasa to hell.

Hm, did she gave more than one? I know she tries after Emilia dies, which was beyond the point Gulcasa would've accepted anyway.

I'd say, it's hard to gauge considering how Nessiah is involved in wanting for things to develop in a certain way. He still wants for Gran Centurio to power up, after all. But considering how he actually seemed to care for the Imperials...

Now I'm picturing YU's D ending but it's Nessiah and Gulcasa leading the charge, haha.

Ironically, Nessiah succeeding would mean that at the least, Riviera's plot wouldn't happen.
