I went with the Rebel voice option btw since it's also closest to my voice. As far as looks go, I'd say my Astral Chain avatar looks more accurate to me. Xenoblade X and Astral Chain are like the only games I've played where the avatar customization has enough options to where I can look at least mostly accurate. Going up to BLADE divisions is feasible, get to NLA, experience expose, take a short trip back into Primordia, and then it's back to the barracks and you choose. And that some important units with important items or recruitment stuff come very late into the map Like i waited for Esteban like 5 turns or something. Turn 20 is way too late.
