I have been trying to get my animation script to work for a while but it just wont take. I followed the Ultimate tutorials instructions but I'm still having trouble to get it to work. This is my first animation script so it makes sense that I'm having issues but I always get an unexpected error I've tried to look up how to solve this issue but those solutions still didn't help. Does anybody have an idea on why my script does not work. Please help.

I would reccomend using FEbuilder to extract a vanilla battle sprite, and taking a look at their scripts to get a good understanding of how they operate.

Seconding that, take a look inside FEBuilder's animation Editor and view/play around with commands and editing a script from there. The codes and requirements are very well annotated/documented within FEBuilder.

(I could've sworn there was some text documentation on the animation script format, but can't find it at the moment.) Found it! Didn't realize it was FEditor era, but still might be useful.
