One of my character (mercenary) got injured, and I healed him to full health, but since he's still injured, the enemy unit just captured that poor fella. I will add that, if you captured any enemy units during the chapter, the Empire will trade them for your unit and you will have to pay less (or nothing at all, if you have enough hostages).
