I wanna crossover Fire Emblem Fates with Happy Tree Friends.

Recommended Posts

I've been really into Happy Tree Friends recently and goddamn I love Fliqpy so much as well as his PTSD and then I started to compare him to Abandoned!Conqest Ryoma.

Why? Because Abandoned!Conquest Ryoma [[SPOILER ALERT]] was part of a Conquest playthrough that got deleted just after he died. He is now on a Revelation playthrough but still retains memories of the Conquest playthrough, including disembowelling himself with a lightning katana. And boy does he hate it. Every time he is reminded of his death in the abandoned Conquest playthrough, he goes into a frenzy, attacking others in an attempt to save himself from the mere memory of his demise.

So of course, Ryoma will be Flippy/Fliqpy.

But what about the others? What roles will they play?
Flippy/Fliqpy -> Ryoma - As I mentioned earlier, Ryoma is a war veteran and in Abandoned Conquest, has massive PTSD. He tries to be nice, but is OP and kills everyone when angered.
Splendid -> Hinoka - Both have heroic goals and have super speed + the ability to fly (if you count Hinoka's pegasus).
Handy -> Takumi - Both seem to have troubles catching up with their peers, and get frustrated over their failures.
Flaky -> Sakura - both can be shy and cowardly, but can muster up the courage if needs be.
Lumpy -> Xander - Both generally have good intentions, but they aren't very smart, which becomes their undoing and gets others hurt. Not that Xander is an idiot, though, he just can't see through Garon's evilness.
Giggles -> Camilla - Both are feminine and get triggered when what they care about is hurt. For Giggles, it's the environment. For Camilla, it's her family, namely the protagonist.
Sniffles -> Leo - Both are extremely studious and smart.
Nutty -> Elise - Both are the excited, playful type.

As for other characters:
Toothy -> Corrin - Both have little personality, which could leave them up to interpretation.
Disco Bear -> Could be Azama or Izana, because of their care-free personalities
Cuddles -> Scarlet - Both are daredevils in their own ways despite their friendly nature.

I have an episode idea: Beach, Please.
Starring: Ryoma and Xander
Featuring: Takumi and Leo
Plot:

Spoiler

Ryoma gets out of bed and looks at the calender. Today he and a few friends are going to the beach. Ryoma, being the feline hunter he is, will want to go in the water and catch prey, so he goes to the bathroom, taking his shirt off to reveal a nasty, bloody seppuku wound across his abdomen, with blood smeared throughout his fur. Ryoma gets a bunch of bandages and gauze pads to patch himself up.

Cut to the beach, where Ryoma and Takumi meet Xander and Leo, with Ryoma in a wetsuit while the others are wearing swim shorts. Xander, noticing the lump in Ryoma's wetsuit (caused by the layers of bandages and gauze pads) automatically assumes that Ryoma has a beer gut (because he's dumb like that) and starts teasing him. Takumi and Leo try to make Xander stop, with Takumi trying to explain Ryoma's injuries but to no avail. Xander even punches Ryoma in the belly, causing him to bleed out of his wetsuit have flashbacks of his suicide and go Burnt (the Ryoma equivalent of flipping out). Takumi realises this and tries to calm Ryoma down, only to be pushed into the sand. Takumi coughs out sand, as well as a sea urchin, revealing that the inside of his mouth is bleeding. Ryoma lunges on Xander and tries to kill him, but Leo uses magic to send Ryoma flying back. Xander tries to defend himself using a beach umbrella, but Ryoma rips the umbrella to pieces with his claws, then he rips of a piece of the umbrella frame and stabs Xander in the arm with it. Takumi tries to run away and get help, but Ryoma grabs him and tells him to help him fight. Takumi runs to the ocean to get a shark, so Leo attempts to electrocute the water. Ryoma has a hallucination of Takumi dying, gets even more Burnt and flings an irukandji jellyfish at Leo's face, interrupting the spell. Leo tries desperately to remove the jellyfish, ripping his face off in the process and causing him to pass out.

Xander is enraged by Leo's apparent death, and attempts to beat the shit out of Ryoma, even going so far as to make lobsters bite his ears and tail, causing the Feline Prince of Hoshido immense pain. Ryoma then finds a clam and rips Xander's nose off with it, and while Xander is distracted, rips the lobsters from his ears and tail before crushing them to death. Leo gets up and attempts to stop Ryoma from causing any more destruction, using a fireball, only to be bitten in half when Takumi rides a shark out of the waters. Ryoma wraps up the battle when he grabs a plastic bucket, rips off the handle and chokes Xander to death with it.

Ryoma then calms down and realises what he has done. Takumi, having waved goodbye to his shark, reassures Ryoma that things are going to be okay. The two then proceed to go hunting in the ocean. The iris out shows a lobster get pwned by an irukandji jellyfish

Deaths, injuries and destruction:

Spoiler

Deaths:

  • A bunch of lobsters die when Ryoma crushes them in his paws hands and feet.
  • Leo dies when he is bitten in half by Takumi's shark.
  • Xander is strangled to death by Ryoma using a bucket handle.
  • A lobster is killed by an irukandji jellyfish

Injuries:

  • Ryoma is punched in the belly, exacerbating his seppuku wound.
  • Takumi gets a sea urchin in his mouth, leaving cuts on the inside of his mouth.
  • Ryoma stabs Xander in the arm using part of the frame of a beach umbrella.
  • Leo rips his face off trying to remove an irukandji jellyfish,
  • Xander gets lobsters to tear at Ryoma's ears and tail. Ryoma exacerbates these wounds when ripping the lobsters off.
  • Ryoma rips Xander's nose off with a clam.

Destruction:

  • The fabric of a beach umbrella is ripped apart by Ryoma, who then breaks off part of the frame.

Kill count:

Spoiler

Ryoma: +1 (+ a few lobsters)
Takumi: +1

Survival count:

Spoiler

Characters alive: 2 (Ryoma and Takumi)
Characters dead: 2 (Xander and Leo), not including the lobsters that Ryoma (and later, an irukandji jellyfish) killed.

Moral: Life's a beach

I decided to change up the characters personalities to better match their respective tree friends:

- Ryoma, like Flippy is easy to flip out, and will go on a murderous rampage. However, just as Flippy ignores children or wounded people, Ryoma will not kill Hoshidans (or anyone else who isn't Nohrian or Vallite) and may even instruct them to help him in the killing.
- Xander, like Lumpy, is an idiot. While Lumpy doesn't know how to do things very well, it's people that Xander knows nothing about. It's hard for him to see the bad in people in his family, and he also jumps to conclusions with strangers. For example, Xander calls out Ryoma for having a beer gut in Beach, Please when Ryoma is simply wearing a wet suit and his abdomen is covered in a gauze pads and bandages because of his seppuku wound that refuses to heal.
- Takumi, like Handy, will be all grumpy when he fails to do things very well. Handy is also oblivious at best to the deaths of other tree friends, so Takumi is rather apathetic about other people dying because, like the 4th-wall-breaking Ryoma, he knows that they're just gonna come back.
- Leo, like Sniffles, will be quite creative with his magic and even do creative things with his magic to solve problems. As for Sniffles' love for ants, Leo will have a few episodes of trying to get and eat tomatoes, only to fail in spectacular (and gory) fashion. I WILL let him succeed more than once, though.
- Hinoka, like Splendid, will want to go about being a hero. Hinoka will not have a failure rate anywhere NEAR as high as Splendid's, though.
- Camilla is very protective of her family, and will get up anyone who threatens them, a parallel to Giggles being protective of the environment.
- Sakura will be about as shy as Flaky.
- Elise will be VERY hyperactive most of the time. Though not so severe as Nutty.

Aaaanother episode idea: Family Valuables
Starring: Camilla, Corrin
Featuring: Elise, Midori and Leo

Plot:

Spoiler

Female Corrin wants to go out shopping, so Camilla decides to accompany her. At the shop, as Corrin grabs a basket and explore the market stalls, a hyperactive Elise bumps into Corrin, prompting Camilla to angrily stare her down. At one of the market stalls, Corrin is held at knifepoint by a random mugger, so Camilla produces her axe, splitting the mugger's head in half. Camilla loots the dead body and finds a nice dragon-tooth necklace, which Corrin fancies.

The pair continue on, with Corrin wearing the mugger's necklace. Suddenly, Corrin gets pickpocketed, rousing Camilla's anger. Camilla chases down the thief, axe in hand. Along the way, Camilla wrecks several stalls, hurting and even killing random civillians. The thief, revealed to be Midori, is decapitated by Camilla's axe when she finally catches up. However, upon searching Midori's body, only an empty purse is found and Corrin appears, revealing to Camilla that she wasn't actually pickpocketed and that the purse was identical to hers, implying that Midori had played a practical joke on them. Camilla just winks back at Corrin saying that it is the thought that counts.

The duo return home, only to find that they'd been robbed. Stuff is all over the floor and things are missing. Camilla sees someone with a bag and attacks them with an axe, slicing the bag open and sending valuables everywhere. Leo's dead body falls to the floor in two pieces. Corrin remembers that there was a massive cleanup happening within the castle. Camilla then tells Corrin again that it's the thought that counts as it irises out on Corrin's disappointed expression.

Deaths, Injuries and Destruction:

Spoiler

Deaths:
- Camilla cuts a mugger in half length-ways,
- Camilla pushes someone out of the way as she chases Midori. They are slammed into a lance in one of the stalls, which impales them.
- Another person is killed when Camilla throws them face-first into a wall whilst chasing Midori.
- Midori is decapitated by Camilla.
- Leo is cut in half when Camilla attacks him for apparently robbing the house.

Injuries:
- Several civilians are injured when Camilla pushes and shoves them whilst chasing Midori.

Destruction:
- Stalls are damaged in the chase.
- Corrin's home is seemingly ransacked during what is revealed to be a clean-up (possibly from Leo using whirlwind magic).
- When Leo is killed, the valuables he carries falls all over the floor.

Kill count:

Spoiler

Camilla: +5 (Burglar, two civillians, Midori and Leo)

Survival Count:

Spoiler

Characters alive: 3 (Elise, Camilla and Corrin)
Characters dead: 2 (Midori and Leo)
Survival rate: 60%

Moral: Real families look out for each other.

Ho boy another episode idea: Boiled like a Lobster
Starring: Orochi and Ryoma
Featuring: Jakob, Corrin and Mitama

Plot:

Spoiler

Ryoma has caught a ton of seafood using his feline hunting skills. He delivers them to a fish and chip shop run by Orochi, with Jakob as the chef. Corrin appears and orders a lobster dish, whereupon Ryoma realises he hasn't caught a single crustacean, despite catching a freaking SHARK! Orochi decides to cook Ryoma instead, despite him clearly being a cat, not helped by Jakob and Corrin's protests. Orochi teleports Ryoma into a cauldron of boiling water and ties him up with magic rope. Ryoma struggles to escape, yowling and hissing as the boiling water rises, burning his flesh and fur. Once it reaches his abdomen, he flips out, breaking the ropes and lunging on Orochi. He rips her back open with his cat claws and tosses her into the boiling cauldron, causing that imfamous "scream". Corrin rushes to reprimand Ryoma for what he just did, only for him to pounce on her, tearing her arms off and eating her liver. Jakob rushes with a knife to stop Ryoma only for him to disarm the butler, using his own knife against him to gut his internal organs, before throwing him into the deep-fryer.

Later on, it is revealed that Ryoma is running the restraunt, still in his Burnt state. Mitama walks in and orders some food, prompting Ryoma to hand her a dish made from one of Orochi's limbs, cut into the shape of a lobster and chips made out of Jakob's fingers, with a side of butter. Mitama takes a bite out of the "lobster", spits it out in disgust, and puts salt on it before taking another bite. The episode irises out on her face as she finds the second bite delicious.

Deaths, Injuries and Destruction:

Spoiler

Deaths:

  • Orochi is shoved into the cauldron of boiling water she tried to cook Ryoma in.
  • Corrin has her arms torn off and her liver eaten. She dies barely a moment later.
  • Jakob is gutted, has his organs ripped out, and is thrown into the deep-fryer.

Injuries:

  • Ryoma basically gets third-degree burns from the waist down after being thrown in a cauldron of boiling water. It probably aggravates his seppuku wound and causes him to stay Burnt.
  • Orochi has her back ripped oven by Ryoma in retaliation.

No destruction of non-living objects is known to have occurred.

Kill count:

Spoiler

Ryoma: +3 (Orochi, Corrin and Jakob. This is one of the few times Ryoma kills a Hoshidan, because Orochi was the one who hurt him and he is acting in self-defence.)

Survival count:

Spoiler

Characters alive: 2 (Ryoma and Mitama. Ryoma would not have killed Mitama because he saw no reason to.)
Characters dead: 3 (Orochi, Corrin and Jakob)
Survival Rate: 40%

Moral: Cats are friends not food!

I'm basically going to admit that this crossover is all in the name of fun. Seeing your favourite characters kill each other or die in ridiculous ways can be fun for some. If you are going to ask whether this was made on drugs or whatever, go to a HTF video and see how many jokes or memes pop up in the comments. Everything is Played for Laughs in a rather cathartic fashion, and I do not regret participating in this maddness.

Another idea: All Up in the Air
Starring: Hinoka and Sakura
Featuring: Kaze, Midori, Scarlet, Camilla

Plot:

Spoiler

Hinoka is riding her pegasus when she hears screaming. She sees Sakura handing tight onto a tree as lava flows all over the ground from a nearby volcano. The tree catches fire and Hinoka barely manages to rescue Sakura as the flames almost reach her. They take off into the sky, only for Sakura to realise her dress is on fire and in her panic, falls off. Hinoka is unable to save Sakura as she falls towards lava, and so resorts to throwing her spear at her little sister, injuring her but knocking her to a safer landing space in a nearby lake. Hinoka pulls her out of the water just as it is about to boil from the heat of the lava. Hinoka flies to a floating island and there she treats Sakura's injuries, before returning to the maddness to see if anyone else needs help.

Hinoka spots another two victims - Kaze and Midori. Kaze has been running through the lava trying to get Midori, who has passed out from the heat, to safety. He throws his unconscious daughter into Hinoka's arms, but he himself overheats and collapses into the flames, revealing that his legs were severely burnt from the magma. Hinoka flies back to the floating island and drops Midori off before rushing to find more survivors.

Hinoka finds Scarlet spawled on a hill, sweating like a pig. Hinoka goes to rescue her, but Scarlet wants to get to safety herself by hopping across the rocky platforms swept away by the lava to safety. Scarlet runs off, completely ignoring Hinoka, who then tries to chase her. Unfortunately, Scarlet ends up burning her feet on the hot rock platforms despite her boots and overheats, causing her to pass out and fall into the lava before Hinoka can safely rescue her.

Hinoka, after continuous hours of searching, is unable to locate any more survivors so she heads back to the floating island. It has been attacked by Harpy!Camilla, who is harrassing Sakura, forcing her to back off to the edge of the island. Midori confronts Camilla, shooting an arrow into her eye. Camilla retaliates by jumping on Midori and ripping her apart with her talons, before grabbing Sakura and dangling her off the edge of the island. Hinoka manages to run Camilla through with her spear while her pegasus saves Sakura.

On the same floating island, Hinoka and Sakura mourn the lives that have been lost in the volcanic eruption. Hinoka laments that she had failed everyone, but Sakura comforts her, saying that at least she saved her.

Deaths, Injuries and Destruction:

Spoiler

Deaths

  • Kaze faints from heatstroke and falls into the lava, killing him.
  • Scarlet tries to save herself for the fun of it, but passed out from heatstroke and falls into the lava.
  • Midori is murdered by Harpy!Camilla.
  • Camilla is run through with Hinoka's spear.

Injuries:

  • Hinoka spears Sakura in the side, knocking her into a lake.
  • Sakura is scalded by the hot water in the lake, causing minor burns.
  • Kaze's legs suffer sixth-degree burns while running through the lava.
  • Midori has passed out from heatstroke.
  • Scarlet burns her feet when doing lava parkour.
  • Camilla gets shot in the eye by Midori's arrow

Destruction

  • Pretty much the entire landscape is destroyed by the volcanic eruption.
  • A tree catches fire and burns while Sakura clings to it.

Kill count:

Spoiler

Camilla: +1 (Midori)
Hinoka: +1 (Camilla)

Survival count:

Spoiler

Characters alive: 2 (Hinoka and Sakura)
Characters dead: 4 (Kaze, Scarlet, Midori and Camilla)

Ho boy, another one: Treasurecraft
Starring: Odin
Featuring: Arthur, Laslow, Leo, Hinoka, Tsubaki, Saizo, Xander and Ryoma

Plot:

Spoiler

Arthur, Laslow and Odin are mining in a cave system reminiscent of Minecraft. Arthur stumbles upon a golden model of a dragon and shows his mates. Upon closer inspection, it is actually an Anankos idol, which emits Vallite energy that curses Arthur, who becomes violent and kills Laslow with an axe to the head, only to be blown to smithereens by Odin, who takes the idol away.

Odin is fascinated by the idol's "Darkness", and decides to take it to a museum to research it. He passes by Leo, who is practising building a house with ice magic. The idol causes a piece of ice to fall of the house and impale his head, killing him. Odin passes Ryoma and Hinoka, who are battling the Slenderdragon (rip-off of the Enderdragon). The idol makes the dragon rip out Hinoka's spinal cord, rendering her completely paralysed. Ryoma delivers a Mercy Kill to his sister at the thought of leaving her like that, before killing the dragon himself in a fit of rage. Odin passes by Tsubaki (I'm spelling his name that way because "Subaki" is impossible in Japanese Hoshidan language), who is showing off his skills to Saizo. The idol spawns a bootleg creeper between the two which explodes, killing Tsubaki and leaving Saizo with bruises and scratches.

Ryoma and Xander are discussing the devestating events that have occurred, and Ryoma implicates Odin just as he walks past. The idol curses Xander, who suddenly commits seppuku infront of Ryoma, causing the latter to go Burnt. Ryoma lunges at Odin, causing the idol to fly out of his hands and onto the ground. Ryoma attacks the idol like a cat, before trying to cut it up with his Rajinto, but to no avail. The idol summons a cursed spear and impales Ryoma from behind with it, causing him to slowly rot and wither away. Ryoma pulls the spear out of himself and slams it into the idol, causing it to shatter and the Vallite energy to disperse. Ryoma succumbs to his injuries and dies, rotting to almost a skeleton. Odin squats by the shattered idol and mourns its destruction.

Deaths, Injuries and Destruction:

Spoiler

Deaths

  • A possessed Arthur splits Laslow's head in half with his axe.
  • Arthur is blown into pieces by Odin's Ragnarok
  • Leo's head is impaled by a massice icicle
  • Ryoma Mercy-Kills Hinoka rather than let her suffer from And I Must Scream.
  • Tsubaki is blown apart by a bootleg creeper.
  • Xander is possessed by the idol and forced to commit seppuku.
  • The idol inflicts Wither on Ryoma to the nth degree, causing him to rot away to almost a skeleton.
  • Ryoma, in his dying moments, destroys the idol with its own spear.

Injuries

  • Hinoka's spinal cord is ripped out, effectively leaving her completely paralysed. Thankfully Ryoma kills her.
  • Saizo is badly injured by the bootleg creeper.
  • Odin's body is coveredd in scratches after Ryoma lunges on him

Destruction

  • Leo's ice house is damaged by the idol's curse.

Kill count:

Spoiler

Anankos idol: + (Laslow, Leo, Tsubaki, Xander, Ryoma)
Odin: +1 (Arthur)
Ryoma (not Burnt): +1 (Hinoka)
Ryoma (Burnt): +1 (Anankos Idol)

Survival count:

Spoiler

Characters alive: 2 (Odin, Saizo)
Characters dead: 7 (Laslow, Arthur, Leo, Hinoka, Tsubaki Xander, Ryoma)
Survival rate: 22.222222222222%

Moral: Beware of the fool's gold.

Another episode concept: House of Cards.

Starring: Ryoma, Scarlet
Featuring: Xander, Camilla, Leo and Elise

Plot:

Spoiler

Xander, Leo, Camilla and Elise are playing a card game. Ryoma walks in, being the curious cat he is, and asks them what game they're playing. The Nohrian royals invite Ryoma to join them, except for Camilla, who acts a little defensive. The Nohrian Royals agree to let Ryoma join once the current game is finished. Ryoma declines and walks off to find Scarlet and the two strike up a conversation.

Camilla suddenly needs to go to the toilet, so the Nohrians pause their game. Camilla walks out of the room, where it is revealed that she was just faking it in order to track down Ryoma, as she is suspicious as to why he would be hanging out with the Nohrian Royals. She catches Scarlet giving a purring Ryoma pats near the Wyvern stables. Camilla yells at Ryoma and Scarlet, voicing her concerns, so Scarlet tells Camilla that Ryoma just wanted to hang out with her. Camilla drops the act and starts patting Ryoma alongside Scarlet, but she gives him a belly-rub, which makes his seppuku wound flare up, causing him to go Burnt. Ryoma then retrieves and slams Scarlet's breastplate into Camilla's chest (they're casually dressed), ripping out her heart. He runs off, leaving Scarlet utterly confused.

Ryoma storms in on the Nohrian Family, who look up at him in confusion and fear. Ryoma swipes the cards, leaps into the air and throws the cards, as if they are shurikens, into Xander's face, cutting him up into little pieces that fall apart a moment later. Leo tries to use this trick on Ryoma, only to leave the latter with mild papercuts. In retaliation, Ryoma punches Leo in the face, causing him to shatter like a literal house made out of cards. Elise tries to escape, but Ryoma roars at her, causing a gust of wind to blow on her that knocks her over. She pleads for mercy as Ryoma cuts her head off with a playing card.

Minutes later, Ryoma recovers from his Burnt state and notices the Nohrian Royals lying dead in front of him. He starts ranting about how fragile they were when he realises how they died, including questioning how they can possibly survive everyday life if they are only as though as, pardon the pun, a house of cards. Leo suddenly pulls himself together before Ryoma's eyes, causing Scarlet to burst in and shout "YOU JUST GOT PRANKED BY THE PRANK PATROL" before slapping him in the face, causing Ryoma's hallucinations to end. The Nohrian siblings were simply playing dead to stop Ryoma from killing them in his Burnt form, while Scarlet was trying to snap him out of it. The Nohrians decide that, since their game has been ruined, that they would have to start a new game. Scarlet encourages Ryoma and they both join in.

Deaths, Injuries and Destruction:

Spoiler

"Deaths":

  • No one really died, it was all just a hallucination, but:
  • Camilla gets her heart ripped out when Ryoma impales her with the point of Scarlet's breastplate.
  • Xander's head is cut into pieces by playing cards.
  • Leo is shattered when Ryoma punches him in the face.
  • Elise is decapitated with a playing card.

Injuries:

  • Ryoma gets minor papercuts all over his body.
  • All the Nohrian Royals suffer minor papercuts and bruises from Ryoma's rampage.

Destruction:

  • The Nohrian family's card game is ruined by Ryoma's rampage.
  • The place is essentially ransacked and vandalised with fake blood.
  • The Nohrian Royals' clothes are stained by the fake blood.

Kill count:

Spoiler

No one actually died, so it's impossible for anyone to have killed anyone.

Survival count:

Spoiler

100%, with all six characters surviving.

Moral: Always know when to fold 'em.
