All right, just finished chapter 6, and this is as good a time as any to update everyone on my progress so far

(P-2; 1-5; 2-3; 3-4; 4-5; 5-5; 6-2)

Total - 26 turn, chapters P-6 completed

Little more detail in the spoiler tag below...

Spoiler

Lets start with my Corrin

ACtC-3eaCisSAts6qNZ7ezaaXyOMKzHl_ovaoEiO

I went with female, that way I can get both Gentileholmme and Demoiselle early. Personally I prefer the speed boon especially later in the game against threats like Hana (although that might not be as vital on this low of difficulty), but it is costing me a turn almost immediately. We will see if this pay dividends later in the game. As for Sky Knight, I entirely missed the never mounted Corrin restriction when first choosing it, but she can still pass Sky Knight and its nice skill on, so no big loss.

Now for the actual chapters

Prologue - 2 Turns:

ACtC-3ftZDJwaSYvQ4H2VSUDkvUigdE3E8uwKseK

Nothing else worth mentioning

Chapter 1 - 5 Turns

Not taking an HP boon costs me a turn here, but hopefully the speed boon will help later in the game, and it makes the turn 5 clear of chapter 4 much more reliable.

Chapter 2 - 3 Turns

Due to images messing up (and digging for better levelups, as levels aren't fixed on this difficulty), I end up doing this one a few times, but in a way I am glad I did so, as the AI doesn't seem to be perfectly deterministic, and figuring out how to accomplish the same turn counts with slightly different enemy formations was interesting. The overall strategy was the same, start on the left to take out Rinkah's group, then let Jakob finish off what is left of Rinkahs forces, while Lachesis and Gunter wipe out Kaze and the last of his squad on enemy phase.

Hitting 10 Str, and 11 Spd on my "Corrin" is rather important for the LTC I am following along with on the early section of this game. I will have to move on from it once I start getting restricted by the Draft (and it being a Lunatic LTC means there may be improvements on it in this difficulty mode) but this is my first time even thinking about turn counts on Conquest, so having something to give me some tips helps out.

Chapter 3 - 4 turns

This is the first time I really needed to dig for some luck, as beating the boss is rather difficult. Now I ended up getting the 3% crit from Gunter for the 4 turn clear, but playing on unmodified hardware I didn't want to spend too long digging for good luck, so I was willing to take the 5 turn clear offered by Gunter hitting, followed by Jakob hitting w/ Gunter attack stance for the kill as well (note if Jakob didn't get the strength levelup I could have Lachesis pair with Jakob, and transfer her over to Gunter for the extra point of damage on the Gunter attack stance instead). Now I ended up lucking into the crit before all the hits needed for the alternative kill.

Chapter 4 - 5 turns

This one took a bit of luck, as Lachesis needs to crit the boss to prevent the Strength seal, that way she can enemy phase all the faceless in the center of the map with a Kaze pairup. This took a little while, but with that crit I secure a 5 turn clear. This is basically just the strat Chiki uses in a Lunatic Conquest LTC.

Chapter 5 - 5 Turns

Sorry I missed the end screen, but this was a one and done, and I don't want to retry it (as it really requires the Sorcerer to miss its first hit with a 75%). As far as I can tell the LTC strat for this chapter is fairly well established, its just much easier to pull off on hard.

ACtC-3fLk-mQ2U6RJcf-P9phKYpDk_dZXWqc-Ndr

I didn't worry too much about Kaze and Rinkah racking up the xp this map. Not sure why I bothered recording the level ups, but I did.

ACtC-3cfR02a7LZIIZwzpGU96puURpK4roEnFLT-

I was honestly surprised by how much xp the boss gave draco-Lachesis...

ACtC-3c4TTO_AgElJekodjmNsfNMMrdv8Gl6sPFd

Ended up feeding the last kill to Azura.

Chapter 6 - 2 Turns

Now for Conquest to start...sorta. I use the Dragon Vein turn 1 with Elise, and setup Jakob and Leo to take fight Yukimura and Takumi enemy phase respectively, and I move Xander and Camilla closer in. This lets Jakob finish Yukimura (w/ Leo attack stance) and Lachesis finish Takumi, then Camilla pairs with Leo to give him the exact damage he needs to kill Sakura, and Xander moves in to finish off Hinoka for a turn 2 clear.

Interesting notes, mate. Like you, I have never played Conquest for the turn count. I try to beat my own records and find new, better strategies, but I still prioritise meeting some thresholds on some chapters, specially at the beginning (like letting Cornflakes kill Taco, Glasses and Ryoma in Ch 6, so that she ends at L10; or letting Kaze kill everyone in Ch 5 to end at L7-8.)

Fun fact sponsored by "Dark" TV series: Your picks were the exact same picks that I would have made. Ha! I would have probably drafted Odin and Ophelia before Elise, but that is it. Close to the final selections, I thought that a sturdy unit would benefit your party, and you went on and picked Benny! That was scary.
The bright side is that I said that I would replicate the party that suited me better, and yours is the obvious choice. See? Had I participated in the draft, our choices would have clashed. Only by not participating did I get the party that I wanted. Everything is connected.

I just did Chapter 6, so may as well give an update on my progress

(P-2, 1-5, 2-4, 3-5, 4-8, 5-6, 6-3)

Total turns from Prologue to Chapter 6: 33

Spoiler has a bit more info.

Spoiler

OS8XRr1.jpg

I went with a female Corrin for early Demoiselle access through Jakob. Since Jakob grants an evasion boost to the avatar I decided to leverage that with a Ninja talent, and a strength boon to make up for the low might of daggers.

Most chapters were fairly uneventful but I'll mention that I had Arthur levels of luck when attempting to do chapter 4 as my units just kept missing which didn't exactly help matters.

In chapter 5 I wound up unintentionally getting Rinkah and Kaze killed towards the end but it was too late to really matter for the turncount.

Got to chapter 9, here's my progress so far:

(P-2, 1-5, 2-3, 3-5, 4-7, 5-4, 6-2. 7-9, 8-5, 1x-5)
Total: 47 turns.

Spoiler

Prologue: 2/2
Picked a +Str -Luk Female Corrin
Chapter 1: 5/7`
Picked a +STR-LUK Corrin with the sky knight talent.
Not much to do other than rig a good level up. Had to take an extra turn due to the lack of a HP or DEF boon
Chapter 2: 3/10
Standard LTC clear, everyone went to the left. Corrin killed Rinkah, Jakob killed Kaze and then the samurais killed themselves on him. I must say that the lack of ranged weapons makes this waaaaay easier to LTC than the Lunatic version.
Chapter 3: 5/15
Everyone went to the south, with gunter ferrying jakob.
Gunter weakened the boss and Jakob finished it with some shaky hit rates and then, the next turn, Gunter seized.
Chapter 4: 7/22
Corrin visited the village on turn 1, then used the DV, allowing Kaze+Rinkah to move north and kill 3 enemies. Corrina took Kaze and used the DV, Rinkah tanked a boss attack then got out of the way while Corrin and Ryoma killed the rest of the enemies.
Chapter 5: 4/26
Kaze and Rinkah went to the right. Corrina went to the left then to the right. Everyone rushed to the south, with Corrin finishing the boss and the mercenaries and Kaze killing one of the mages, while Ryoma, who survived against the boss, killed the other.
Chapter 6: 2/28
Leo baited Yukimura and Takumi on turn 1, while elise used the dragon vein. On turn 2, Jakob killed yukimura, Corrin Killed Takumi, Xander killed Hinoka and Leo+Camilla killed Sakura.
Screenshots until this point of the game:
https://imgur.com/a/YVTpT2B
Chapter 7: 9/37
Corrin+Jakob went to the left, and with some pair up+separating killed everything there by turn 2. They went back, Jakob gave corrin to Silas, and then the two of them killed some enemies on the north and went to the south to kill the boss. Jakob finished a couple on enemies that were left behind on the north.

Chapter 8: 5/42
Corrin ferried Jakob to the north on turn 1 and then separated, while Silas visited de village. On turn 2, Silas paired with Corrin, and they and Jacob proceeded to the north. On turn 4, Silas gave Corrin to Jakoc and they went to the boss. On turn 5, they killed him and Silas visited the north village.
Corrin (10.84): 26/18/9/12/14/10/11/5

Paralogue 1: 5/47
Bought a Steel Dagger for Jakob, and after rigging a +str/+spd level up on turn 1, he could one round the faceless without a pair up and with only a spd tonic. Silas+Corrin could kill the faceless on attack stance, and so they paired up and separated every turn, being very mobile. Jakob went to the south, Corrin + Silas went to the west and then, after killing the boss, went south.
Corrin (11.87): 26/19/10/13/15/10/12/5

Chapter 9: 6/53
Everyone went to the bottom, using pair up+separating to move faster. Corrin recruited Nyx and Silas broke the wall. Silas+Corrin took out most enemies, with Nyx and Jacob finishing what they left behind. Corrin killed Haitaka on EP, Nyx broke the wall and Azura gave her the key, then danced her so she could get the Rescue chest.

Next turn, Nyx ferried Azura to the next room, and Silas kept moving. On turn 3, Azura danced Silas, reaching Hinoka on turn 4. She could not double with a Silas pair up, but could one shot with a Dragon fang either on PP or on the EP. She got one on the EP.

Chapter 12: 4/72
The clear I'm most proud about so far. Every unit was essential for this. I gave Corrin a Dracoshield and a Goddess Icon before the chapter. If she hadn't got STR on her level up, I'd have gone for two hits with 1 Dragon Fang on the PP and EP, using a iron Sword at 77/47 hit or something like that. Since she got STR, she just needed a Dragon Fang with the Steel Sword, and she also had the EP to try to get it, thought at 30 less hit.

Corrin, Azura, Silas and Jakob went to the west. Jakob froze Orochi on turn one so Silas would survive the EP and kill stuff with a javelin. Jakob killed Orochi on turn 2 (tomebreker doesn't care about calamity gate haha). Corrin finished Reina's group while paired with Jakob, promoted at level 16 then took Silas and finished Scarlet's group on turn 5, finishing the annoying outlaw on PP. Nyx soloed Takumi's side of the map, with a kaze pair up and help of the wonderful gate bonuses. Silas and Corrin got S rank.

Before this chapter, i bought a Lewyn sword and a Hunter's knife. Used this as an opportunity to train mainly Silas. Corrin + Kaze blocked the chokepoint to force the dumb villagers to go the other way. The partner seals is nice, since I'm out of money and needed it to make Silas a flier for chapter 14. Silas now is looking respectable, specially since he was able to get defender.

Chapter 14: 2/79
Before the chapter, I sold a bunch of useless stuff to get a Beast Killer. Corrin got a Secret Book. Silas reclassed to Falcon Knight. Corrin paired with him, azura danced them, and then Silas droped Corrin with a levin sword two tiles below an archer, while staying safe under the immobile shrine maiden. Sophie ferried Jakob just out of the chokepoint, shifted and was dropped, while everyone else moved as far as they could. The next turn, corrin stayed on the range of the entrap maiden, who entraped him to the boss. Azura paired with Sophie and danced nyx, who ferried Kaze to the 10k chest.

turn count was wrong, 79+5 is 84, not 94

Just finished chapter 8 & 1x, and this seems like a good enough time to update. Now that the draft is restricting me I am having to figure out my strategies on my own, and its making it a lot slower to get through. Playing for turn count feels particularly different from how I usually play Conquest, as I tend to be very player phase attack stance focused, while this is all about enemy phase. I am working on my chapter 9 one now, it will probably a 7 turn clear when all the mediocre hit rates align, but I might be able to file it down to a 6 turn clear with enough luck.

(7-10, 8-5, 1x-6 )

Total - 47 turn, chapters P-8 & 1x completed

I got rather detailed with my 8 and 1x strats this time.

Spoiler

Chapter 7- 10 turns/36 total

I tried to find a way to pull off the 9 turn clear with my draft conditions, but I couldn't find a way to do so without an undrafted unit either being attacked (or having to pair with a drafted unit to escape such attack), so I am going to have to take the 10 turn clear. It does also end up costing me a strength tonic to get Lachesis the strength she need so -150 gold.

Chapter 8 - 5 turns/41 total
I managed the 5 turn clear with max money rewards, but it did cost me 2 strength tonics and 2 resistance tonics (-600 gold) and required a 9% Dragon Fang proc on enemy phase against the boss. Elise visited the first village turn 1 while Lachesis paired with Jacok to be dropped off as far west as he could reach. Next turn is where a few of the tonics really mattered as Elise pairs with Jakob, Odin grabs a resistance tonic from Jakob, then Jakob moves as far west as he can go, while Niles pairs with Lachesis, and she moves just out of range of freeze to equip the dragon stone. With Dragon stone, gentilhomme, and resistance tonic she is just tanky enough that only the Flimbulviter mage has the damage to target her, and with the strength tonic Jakob exactly one rounds the other two mages.

ACtC-3dHyf35cRq2AjoXNmjwcK5t92yhdX4R0DGP

Next turn Lachesis moves as far as she can, equips Yato, switches to Niles to then be separated adjacent to Flora, then Odin moves in to take advantage of a Jakob attack stance to deal about half the health of the flimbuviter mage before Jakob moves in just south of Niles (giving Lachesis Gentilhomme). Flora attacks Niles, and is dropped to 2 health after Niles doubles and the Lachesis attack stance, one of the axes also suicide on Lachesis, and whether or not his 60 something attack hits determines my next move. If it hit Jakob heals Lachesis (and himself thanks his new Live to Serve ability), and kills Flora on enemy phase, if it missed he just kills her player phase, either way he moves close enough to grab the north western house next turn and has the guard gauge to block the axe attack he faces on enemy phase. On that same turn Niles pairs back up with Lachesis and she moves as close to the boss as she can and equips the Dragon stone to block extra damage from a mobile mage, while Odin moves in range to claim the south western house next turn and chugs a vulnerary to ensure he survives the enemy phase that kills the flimbulviter mage. Last turn I claim the two villages and have Lachesis move adjacent to Kilma and thanks to the strength tonic she has deals just enough to kill him if she hits with all and dragon fangs once. (+10,000 gold)

Chapter 1x - 6 turns/ 47 total

If only that jerk in the bottom right hand corner moved on his own I could have give Mozu a kill without costing any turns, but I digress. For my purchases, I get the heart seal and a bronze bow for Bowzu (I luck into a shop discount to save... 25 gold), and a strength tonic and magic tonic for Jakob and Odin respectively (-2,775 gold). For this one I had Lachesis pair with Niles to have her kill the nearest faceless on turn 1, and for the next 2 turn she is just using the +1 move from Niles to bait in every enemy between her and Bozu. Meanwhile Odin pairs with Elise to separate in front of the bridge to give Jakob an attack stance on his attack on the nearest faceless in the west. None of the three in the west die enemy phase, but Odin and Jakob kill one each player phase while moving into the 2 space chokepoint behind them, and Elise heals Odin back up.

ACtC-3fk4pcJHysjN5-AvOgZZyADYNrbgR0OSdiOACtC-3c2oEshFQEZjbmTpoNusSnj8WnKxFrpOLLJ

I did miss an image of the first Jakob level there. Turn 3 a Faceless actual moved without me having to bait him, so Odin move to get an attack stance on him, and Jakob moves as far west as he can to kill it, as Elise moves out of the last surviving enemy Odin and Jakob were blocking off before to heal Jakob. Turn 4 is big as Lachesis recruits Mozu, the two of them then trade before Lachesis transfers herself over to Mozu , for her to switch Lachesis into range to kill the three past the forest (while chugging one of the Vulneraries Mozu starts with), meanwhile Odin pairs with Elise to get dropped off in range to give Jakob and attack stance for his first ranged attack against the boss. Turn 5 Niles drags Mozu away to become Bowzu

ACtC-3fACui2WY3kJ40ljEF2MlzedVHse0-Af8vX

while Lachesis equips the Dragon stone to lure in the next faceless (and wait for the other two to move into position to suicide on the enemy phase of turn 6). Back at the boss Jakob continues to attack the boss, while Odin finishes one of the Faceless that swarmed him and Jakob from range, and Elise heals up Jakob (and draw one of the attacks this turn her direction.

Actually got to chapter 25 this weekend. Been having a lot of fun coming up with the strats, but now i have no idea of how I'll do the next two chapters haha
Will probably do the Midori paralogue either before or after 25 for the nice exp boost and a unit with good stats.

(16-3, 2x-19(free), 17-2, 18-3, 19-6, 20-2, 21-3, 22-3, 23-3, 24-3)

Total: 112 turns

Spoiler

Chapter 16: 3/87
Jakob + Nyx went to the northwest, Silas + Corrin, Sophie and Azura went to the east and Kaze + Charlotte went to the southwest. On turn 2, Silas dropped Corrin on the east, and on the last turn, everyone talked to the NPCs, with Corrin and Silas finishing Shura, who died for the boots.

Chapter 17: 2/89
Before the chapter I promoted Sophie, Kana and Charlotte, reclassed Kana to falcon knight and Jakob to Paladin, gave Silas the boots and Corrin the speed wings. This is another chapter that is easier to show than to write about. Silas had to get one crit to kill Kotaro. At 36% hit, 28% crit and doubling, the probablity of getting that crit was about 20%, not that bad considering how short the chapter is.
The video I recorded wasn't the successful atempt, but the only difference is that Silas didn't get the crit.

Deployed only Silas and Corrin. On turn one, Silas went to the northwest and dropped Corin below him, in a position that only one faceless and two stoneborns could attack him, while corrin tanked two more with the dragon stone. Silas had to dodge both Stoneborn hits at 50% each. The next turn, Corrin paired with SIlas, who moved far north and used an elixir, being way tankier than the turn before thanks to vow of friendship. On turn three, Silas had just enough move to escape

Before the chapter, I gave Corrin and Secret Book and the second boot to Silas. Used some shelter dancing to double dance Silas + Corrin and Kana +Jakob on turn one, and get them on the boss area by turn 2, with Corrin attacking Hinoka with a iron sword, and then killing her on the EP with a Dragon fang proc. On turn two, Sophie also used a dragon vein to stop the kinshis from ruining everything. Kaze went to the left with Charlotte as his backback for some nice training, and with Flora healong him. Nyx and Izama helped sophies kill a feel mages. On turn 3, Corrin killed Hinoka's friend and Jakob seized. Charlotte and Kaze got a S support at the end of the chapter, which means I'll be getting Midori and some much needed training!

I should have either changed strategy, or just shot for the 7 turn clear (unfortunately trying for the 6 turn clear with this path requires too much commitment to try for both), especially after the my first attempt at a 6 turn clear was foiled by my forgetfulness about the movement penalty on the seize point, but once I realized the 6 turn was still possible with the ridiculous path I took I couldn't help myself, despite the high resource cost, and frustratingly high luck required. I just kinda love how brazen it is to burst straight through the front door to still get a fast victory with the help of everyone. I retried chapter 9 a lot, so I get into extreme detail in my strategy. I am still working on chapter 11, 5 turn clear is obvious, but with promotion I think I can grab a 4 turn clear.

(9-6, 10-11)

Total - 65, chapters P-10 & 1x completed

Spoiler

Chapter 9 - 6 turns/53 total

First for the expenses, I used an HP tonic, a magic tonic (that should have been a strength tonic, but I will explain when it is relevant), a skill tonic, a speed tonic, and a defense tonic on Lachesis; while Odin gets a Nosferatu tome, a magic tonic, a skill tonic, and a defense tonic; and finally a strength, and defense tonic on Mozu. First thing first Lachesis pairs with Jakob to then one round the lower lancer (with defense seal) using the Yato, then Odin picks up an Elise pariup to then trade Lachesis over the dragon stone, thus convincing the rest of the enemies to chip themselves on Odin's Nosfertau enemy phase, while Mozu and Niles move as close as possible outside enemy range. Now there is some luck to this first turn, as Lachesis has tow hit 2 88s, and Odin has to hit 4 hits in the low 90s for this to work. Next turn Niles kill the Lancer furthest back with a Mozu attack stance (she needed the strength tonic for this kill), and then Mozu goes to this empty space to kill the other lancer with an Odin attack stance (trading him over to the thunder tome for more accuracy), then Odin hugs the northern wall to kill one of the archers from range (thus being in position for next turns attack, and preventing the other archer from blocking him), and finally Lachesis full moves to a space one away from the paired samurai, between the the two pillars, and uses a vulnerary (if she was hit). I will also note that where the archers attack from isn't certain, but overall rarly matter, the most common formation is the two archers going adjacent to Lachesis to attack Odin, but there is always one in range of where Odin will go, but sometimes one will go to the space above Lachesis, and the other two spaces further west in the same horizontal line, in which case I can block the last archer from attacking Lachesis by going one diagonal from the space he normally attacks from (on the same horizontal as the two archers), which will convince it to kill itself on Mozu a turn early, which makes the rest of the strat slightly more reliable when it happens. Now for the first great luck bottleneck,
ACtC-3fxLpSa-1mpfkCHpNltms-D4ypRXm_lT_ed
Now this image is from the failed 6 turn, but it gives you an idea of the luck involved. Thanks to the speed tonic she has just enough speed when paired with Jakob to double the paired Samurai, and if she can hit twice, or hit with a 10% Dragon Fang proc, she kill one of the pair on enemy phase. Now the bottle neck hasn't been passed quite yet, as Niles pairs with Mozu to get the extra movement to injure the other samurai, which is a hit in the low 70s (mid 70s if she got the early archer kill scenario thanks to the skill +2 skill she gets on levelup), and Odin has to full move to finish it off with a 79 hit chance.

ACtC-3crMU0zqksm_sbd8olC-ERqJA7qssjMFIoW

There is also the unlikely kill chance if Lachesis only hit once on enemy phase, with Mozu finishing the paired 1 (with less accuracy), and then Odin getting a 3% crit, but I have only seen it happen once while trying this (although it does result in an extra Mozu levelup). Once that luck bottleneck is passed, Lachesis takes her full move heading north around the seize room and switches to Jakob to counter one of the archers within (with a full guard gauge), and convince the last archer to suicide on Mozu (if we didn't get the early kill formation, but in either case she needs both the defense tonic to survive it and strength tonic to kill), and move further next turn.

ACtC-3f0nNWIm4_P-ab7sI57uW0d73-egmv30P9_

Next turn Jakob full moves and drops Lachesis in front of him (trade equipping her dragon stone to ensure the archer ahead lets him counter it), and this was the biggest change between the successful and failed 6 turn, as I need the one extra move of Jakob to get to the seize point, which also means that Lachesis will not get a guard gauge, meaning she needs the HP tonic, and to either dodge one of the steel lance hits, or any two other attacks to survive. Now the first two are the misses I had, and the most likely, as they are a 26 from the archer (again assuming we don't get the early archer kill), and a 47 from the samurai, but the steel attacks are only in the 70s, and entirely possible to dodge. As for the rest of the army Odin full moves and drops Elise into the safe space made by Jakob and the breakable block, and Mozu full moves and switches to Niles in range of the archer that attacked Jakob enemy phase (but doesn't attack to ensure he gets a guard gauge in case he kills the first). Next turn Jakob finishes the archer that attacked him enemy phase, Lachesis breaks the path deeper into the fort, Odin moves as far as he can without being targeted, and Niles separates Mozu (or transfers her to Jakob if none of the boss's archers died), and finally Elise moves behind Lachesis to use the first freeze of the run to prevent the paired lancer from blocking Lachesis's path ahead, and thanks to the extra damage from lily's poise Lachesis still one rounds the unpaired lancers on enemy phase
ACtC-3cXWBzb8FGGW5HypL7ZvCmjeJdIEF2wI7LAACtC-3dxM10vK1vlQc4EFq18M7H6HFzDieebUmnpACtC-3clDqUtRE01j-XvkFQP7dCqe10kw0zwABsZ
for these levels. The Elise level is unfortunate, but the Lachesis on is critical; if she hadn't have gotten strength on that levelup she couldn't get the 3000 gold from the paired lancer (hence why I should have gotten the strength tonic, but I overlooked this when I was switching strategies from the failed 6 turn to the successful one, for the failed one keeps Jakob paired, and as luck would have it this was one of the first runs that got this far when trying for the actual 6 turn), and the skill makes the final kill slightly more likely. Speaking of which Lachesis claims the 3000 gold with a kill at the start of this last turn, then Niles pairs with Odin to then reach the Rescue staff chest, as he switches to Niles, and transfers Odin to Elise, and I intentionally filled Nile's inventory with my unused character's equipment so
ACtC-3cvlbyPoqJdy1ApwlYD_1ifigEOMZdwIgCE
I can get the rescue staff over to the convoy. This lets Elise move next to Lachesis, transfer Odin over to her, and get the rescue from the convoy to then
ACtC-3d9mFuXjogOiGpUCyLpNoZqL_JH0IYBLQJt
get Jakob in range to seize. Finally its time to talk about Azura, who followed the standard stealth strat (even grabbing the bronze naginata), until this turn where she dances Lachesis for her to get the unlikely boss kill
ACtC-3cVzW3Luo8FmJFrHwrcovj6f5dxR6f9hV2d
Now she needs to get a Dragon fang (9% thanks to the skill levelup she got, but 8% otherwise, or the 1% crit that is also thanks to that same stat gain) and hit to get the kill, and here is why she had the magic tonic before, as the Jakob pairup gives only +2 magic, while the Odin pairup give +4. Now after that second lucky kill, I finally get
ACtC-3cHN3q5WIemKPXK_gNfBN04DOM9C9GPNLv8
the 6 turn seize. That took far too long, as I had to wait for that kinda luck basically twice thanks to my own forgetfulness...

triggered after clearing chapter 9. Its a shame it didn't happen before a chapter where the speed surge would let her cross a doubling threshold, but for this chapter the surges are just adding avoid. Now I am not going to go as in depth here, used a strength tonic to let Lachesis one round the clubbers, and a defense and HP tonic on Niles that way he doesn't have to dodge to enemy phase the two Ninja that use lancer attack stances, but that is it for expenses. I will note that I found the free for chapter 10 rule a little vague, I took it to mean the characters that join in the chapter are free to use for the chapter, but it might have meant I could deploy my undrafted scrubs. Truth be told the only difference that would make is saving the Niles tonics by giving him an Effie pairup, and some extra Silas mobility in the wings, but it wasn't that big of deal. As for strategy Bowzu and Azura held the east comfortably, with Beruka joining them to finish off the Pegasi that hide in the water, Odin and Jakob held the west, with Elise coming back to heal them a little midway through, which left Lachesis, Niles and Elise to hold the center, with Camilla riding out to join them (and grab the difficult to reach villages), and Selena to give Lachesis some guard gauge latter on. With Azura, Bowzu grabbed the near eastern village turn one, and could easily double Ballista the archers that attack that side, and kill both on player phase on the next turn as well (in both waves). Odin manned the fire orb mostly, chipping down lancer on first turn, then chipping down the two clubbers that are breaking down the wall, while Jakob grabbed the gold from the near western house, and chipped one himself before they broke the wall and injured him. Jakob then had to use his extra move to escape them until the got close enough that Odin could join in to kill both on the same turn. Elise would come back to heal Jakob up a bit just before the next force of clubbers strike when the water is down, with Odin chipping them enough to enemy phase the throwing club, I end up needing to use a freeze staff to make it safe for them to finish the group off, and Camilla has to charge in and save the day just before the end. Lachesis paired with Elise to get dropped in range to kill the nearest group of clubbers in the south on turn one, and next turn avoid the range of lancers and ninja to lure in a pegasi instead, while Niles ballista said group with a Fire Orb hit from Odin as well, for Niles to then enemy phase the Ninja (with a Lily poise boost from Elise returning), he then finished another lancer before Camilla started dominating the center. Lachesis would join in a bit as well, and Camilla would grab the two villages further out before returning north to first help deal with a pegasi in the east, before pairing with Beruka at the edge of her movement, to then attack in the west. Capturing the turn count feels a little redundant given its a defend chapter, but there were a lot of levels, and the way I described this strategy makes it difficult to intersperse the levelups in the post, so sorry for the massive image drop.

man, I hope this doesn't become the third conquest draft I give up on chapter 26 hahahaha

Just keep working on it. You have plenty of time before the rest of us get even close to that chapter, and even if it isn't a great turn count, completing it is better than not. In truth I have been a bit distracted by other games, but I did manage to get the 4 turn clear on chapter 11. As soon as I bit the bullet and promoted Niles it was kinda easy to figure out, although I did make my life a little harder by deciding to take out some Ninja for XP.

(11-4)

Total - 69

Spoiler

Chapter 11 - 4 turns/69 total

First thing first I have to promote Niles for the 9 move, as that lets him carry Lachesis over to Hinoka on turn 4 without even needing a dancer. Now for the tonics, Niles needs a defense and HP tonic to survive enemy phases with a bought concoction as well for one critical moment of healing, Lachesis gets a speed and Strength tonic, that way she can double Hinoka, and gets the exact damage she needs to kill her if both player phase and enemy phase Yato attacks hit (even with her healing), and third I give Odin a speed and skill tonic to let him grind up some XP enemy phasing Ninja. Obviously we are going left, with Lachesis pairing with Niles and him moving as far into the archer room as he can to kill one of the iron Yumi archers on player phase. As for the rest, Elise stands on the archers side of the stairs, and Azura stands on the starting side of the said stair, and everyone else waits around her for next turn. Niles kills all the mobile archers enemy phase, Elise then heals him, and he moves a certain way into the Ninja room, chugs a vulnerary to get enough health for next enemy phase, and switches to a bronze sword to encourage ninja to attack at range and lunge him further along. Meanwhile Azura moves in and dances Elise for a level.

Then Jakob ferries Odin over to the now mobile Elise, who then drops Odin in range of Setsuna with a Nosferatu (and her lily poise boost). Next turn the Ninjas should have lunged Niles closer to the next stairs, so he ends just in range to reach Hinoka, but out of range of the furthest paired Samurai, and chugs the concoction to reach full health (as the other 2 Samurai will drop him to exactly 1 health, and leave the pair with a full guard gauge for Hinoka). On the XP grinding front Bowzu finishes Setsuna (with a Jakob attack stance) for a level

ACtC-3chSSdsFrRRVnDLGcmWtzAmlg-9iUVbj20L

Elise heals the paper cut Odin has for a little xp, only to be danced to pair with Odin, whom moves in a careful position that encourages the first Ninja to attack him in melee for higher accuracy (as he needs to hit the first two Nosferatu hits to survive the enemy phase). Now that isn't the only RNG for this enemy phase, as the path finding of the paired Samurai is not deterministic, and they can position themselves in a way that keeps Niles from reaching Hinoka next turn, but its a somewhat uncommon formation. On the final turn Niles charges Hinoka, and swaps to Lachesis to double Hinoka and block her first hit,  and due to Odin missing one of his hits after filling the guard gauge, he slurp a vulnerary. That leaves the final enemy phase where Odin kills all the Ninja but the one he missed last turn for a level, while Lachesis also levels on the enemy phase sister kill.

I finally managed to beat this. Chapter 26 was a pain in the ass, and it also took me a while to figure out chapter 27, since I didn't realize I could deploy units in the upper part of the map initially.

This was a very challenging run, though I'd be lying if I said I still remember most of what I did in the beginning, since it's been so long. I just know that the pegasus knight talent was definitely worth it, as Falcon Knight Silas was my MVP. Kaze was a very good combat unit, and Nyx also helped despite not seeing much combat. Jakob fell off really hard, but at least was still a 8 move shelter bot. Charlotte was mostly Kaze's pair up, but I really messed up by not getting her to level 5 on one of the free paralogues, Rally Strength would have been a great help.

Anyway, my final turncount was 129 turns

Here's what I did on the final chapters:

Paralogue 6: 12(free)/112
Got Midori and trained my characters a bit. Midori became a mechanist.
Corrin (16/19.72): 39/35/27/27/32/24/29/18

I let some units die, but who cares, it's the last chapter. Had I gotten Rally STR on Charlotte, I'd have been able to do it without units dying, but whatever.

Congrats!

I should get back to my run, although I have been distracted by other games recently...
