Lord_Brand
Not really, but my brother picked up Fire Emblem: Awakening for 3DS which I eventually played after enough urging. I'm not a Fire Emblem fan per se, but it's thanks to Smash that the West learned of Fire Emblem and gained enough interest in it for the series to release overseas, which eventually lead to the *ahem* smash success that is Awakening releasing and catapulting the franchise into A-list territory alongside the likes of Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon. So, I guess you could say Smash helped my brother get into Fire Emblem, and in turn I tried out Awakening. I haven't played Fates or TH, but my bro keeps me up to date on the various FE characters, so I'm in that weird spot where I know a lot about the series despite playing little of it, similar to Pokemon. Eltosian Kadath
It feels cliche to say Fire Emblem at this point, but me being a Marth fan, and my brother being a Roy fan in Melee certainly had a role in getting both of us into Fire Emblem. Deer's Wolf
Actually I wouldn't be playing Fire Emblem if it weren't for Smash!
Fabulously Olivier
I'd love to say I got into FE because of Smash, but I bought Path of Radiance because of its box art. Boy was I in for a pleasant surprise.
Samz707
Seeing the fact they put 3 characters from Awakening in it (Even if I'd never actually played Smash at the time.) was part of why I picked up Awakening a good while back.
