From the Pokémon website: “Add the Rogue Monkey Pokémon to your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game this December. indigoasis Posted November 14, 2020 Share Posted November 14, 2020 Seems pretty unnecessary since they could've just distributed it through the internet as a gift in-game. Even so, if it's free, then I guess it's fine. A majority of players would probably opt out of the newsletter as soon as they get Zarude, though (which would've made sending Zarude through the internet as a collectible in-game gift from the menu a far better idea in the first place, not to mention more convenient for literally everyone, but that's just what I think).
