James Marshall
I have a theory as to why they Gothmog got killed during Lord Of The Rings -Return of The King. Here it is. What do you think of my theory? My theory is that the main reason that Gothmog got killed is because he's a tactical genius, by Orc Standards, is a great leader, is a good thinker, is very good at strategy and even with Sauron, The Witch King and The other 8 Ringwraiths dead their are still enough bad guys for their to be a chance for numbers alone to win them the war, especially with A leader as good as him Edited December 31, 2020 by James Marshall Forgot to put the word that after reason and before Gothmog

Blade of Light
I was always under the assumption that that guy was one of these "original" orcs, the tortured elves who became evil, and that was why he was in command. Looking him up, it doesn't seem like it, but even then, I don't remember anything he did that was actually genius. He just led a giant army and had the means to take Gondor bc Sauron gave them to him. So nah, they probably just wrote him out to make the victory more complete
